Anyone having an issue with the game? I've got no events showing and the alliance isn't showing up either.

I had the same issue but it seems like it is back now.

D3 needs to upgrade their servers.

This game going up and down is actually kind of helping me. I feel evil for saying it, but I made it up to almost 500 in heavy metal, and the game went down again. Saves me from retaliations for a while. lol

And the game is down for me again as well. I would recommend to anyone reading this, check the Event Rewards prior to playing any matches. If it states "Leaderboard Error" I would NOT play a match, as your points won't be added since contact with that part of the server appears to be down. I believe any damage you take WILL remain, and apparently you will get ISO, but it won't help your event score, so I personally believe it not worth taking the extra damage.

If you have not received you alliance reward from the Oscorp Heroic event by the time you read this, PorkBelly has recommended submitting a ticket to ensure you are not missed when they fix this problem. It is as simple as sending an email with a little info to allow them to look up the particulars. Their stated response time is supposed to be 48 hours from submission, but I expect over half the forum will be doing the same, so if they have to distribute awards based solely on ticket submission, that time will likely go out the window. If you guys haven't seen yet, new PVE will start next week introducing Sentry as the new character.

Due to the changes in tabs, I wouldn't be surprised to see it show up on the story tab instead of the versus, but we will see.

Hi guys, can I ask any long term players a question about levelling?

At the mo my punisher is at LV70-ish, can't remember exactly right now, but I have the ios available to push him to lv115. Now is this worth while? At the minute the worst teams I see on average in pvp is max 2*, and pve is still achievable on some nodes even with scaling. Once I start pushing characters past the lv85 stage will the game become more challenging to the point of frustration?

Punisher is the only 3* I can get to that LV at the mo so not quite in to a full 3* roster yet.

What do you guys think? Hold off for a while of just max what I can?

I've been told 3 stars are not better than 2 stars until around level 100, so once you have the covers for that it may be worthwhile using him but until then a maxed out 2 star thor or ares paired with OBW will probably do better.

I just took a look at your punisher.

You've got 5 in green so I would do it.

He's a good investment and 3* characters over level 100 have an intimidation factor that maxed 2* do not.

So fyi to everyone that plays on android... samsung has a promotion for 25 dollar google play cards when you register a device on their site. Www.samsung.com. not all devices qualify though.

if you haven't already I recommend everyone grind shield simulator to around 1k points, if everyone in our alliance does it that should improve our season 1 score quite a bit.

I totally agree. I'm just under 2k and I rarely get attacked for more than a couple points.

Great job to all, I was watching the alliance score as the event ended and last I saw we finished at 38th! New alliance record, covers for all, and a bit more HP! Everyone was over 500 points, 3/4 of the alliance was over 800 points. And a special shout out to pbrown for his personal best of 847, although now we will expect that of him...

Season one is almost over and we are close to top 100. If you can spare the time, spend a little effort in the Shield Simulator to boost our score and see if we can make it. I have a good feeling we will do much better next Season, as we have some newer members that basically missed the first half and are regular machines now.

For those of you that struggle to finish highly in the PVE, remember there is another coming up. You can maximize your score with minimal effort by reading some of the tutorials about PVE events before this event starts to fully understand rubberbanding and refreshes. Getting a good handle on this reduces your stress in the event and greatly boosts your score. If you are doing it right, you will find yourself staring at the game knowing you should not touch the event, wondering what to do in the meantime (which is usually a great time for some more Shield or PVP event effort).

Again, congrats to all, that's two in a row for alliance covers!

season 1 rankings are weird, I'm ranked 239 but I've been top 50 in the majority of the events and top 100 in every event at least. 9459 points, porkbelly is at 10200 in 29th place, does 741 points make that much of a difference in placing? might need to grind shield simulator some more then, but i'm at 1800 right now idk if I can grind to 2500 lol

Similar to each PVP, a lot depends on what bracket you are stuck in. I have 12065 points, which is good for 13th place in mine. My personal opinion is the season rewards aren't terribly good for individuals (compare the 30 days of effort to what you earn for the 10+ events that comprised the season) but more geared towards the alliances (evidence points to this as covers are only available for alliance rewards). I have been finishing between top 10 and 25 most events, with one #1 finish to put me where I am. I would bet a lot of people I. Your bracket are supplementing with Shield training points as well. We will see how that shakes out, as the points you earn in the individual PVP are solid once the event is over, while the Shield points will either cost a lot of shielding HP or will become pretty variable these last few days for the high scoring folk. That being said, the bracket size is 5000 for the season, small gains in points lend to large jumps in placement at your ranking as people are pretty grouped, and if you are riding in a similarly scoring group for PVP, Shield is where you can break out a bit. Maybe not top 10, but try a little and see how much it moves you towards top 100 or even 50. If you hit up some extra Shield, let us know the ranking effect here, it will be good data to have for Season 2.

looks like we will fall a bit short of getting the fury cover, but we should do better next season, alot of our players have improved in the last month, partially out of necessity in order to get top 50. Hopefully they do wait a while before starting the next season though, and hopefully it has more useful progression rewards than this one. my 10 pack had only one 3 star, a daredevil. and only 100 HP given out for progression for a month long event seems low. I would like to see more 3 star characters in progression, although I assume everyone would. Also more variety in events would be nice, we had multiples of the same event in the season but we have plenty of 3 stars in the game they could have easily been all different, would provide everyone a chance to excel in an event depending on their 3 star roster.

Another great job, we finished #71 in Krakadoom to supply some Psylocke covers, supporting the next PVP. I think we should keep track of our PVP standings in here, if I forget I would appreciate backup from the other alliance members that check forums. That will help a lot in the chat recalls of "how many top 100 finishes have we done? Um, somewhere between 3 and 6, not sure?" and I'm getting too damn old, my Alzheimer's is kicking in on the early wins. If nothing else, maybe it will boost my post count out of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Trainee status...
