    Edit: THREE things:

@brigby can you add the new info given in the replies to the OP?

And do we get a pretty picture to show us what anything looks like? The pictures last time were great! MOAR PICTURES

When you say you've changed the dupe rate do you mean the chances of getting 2 of the same cards in a pack or the chance of getting a card already in your collection? There has been some confusion around this in my coalition. Clarification would be great, thanks!

Will the fix for players who have mastered past 1000 be in this update?

Yes. We have ALL been clamouring for more unbalanced cards to be introduced into the game. Thankyou for listening to us.

Yeah not sure how these "masterpiece" cards are going to affect the overall game.
I am disappointed that these are only being put in KLD and AeR packs.

I'm very grateful for the new events and can't wait to try them out although I don't like nodes being set to specific planeswalkers.
Between the events and QB and grinding for mana jewels I'm going to be pretty busy for a while.

I really appreciate you answering all of our questions; it's helped prevent the wild rumors & mass panics that our community is prone to.

    Vocabulary question:

Does the word "duplicate" mean "a card the player already possesses" or "multiple copies in the same pack?"

Probably "multiple copies in the same pack"

That's what I'm afraid they mean. Of course there will be a lower chance of multiple copies in the same pack if there are less cards per pack!

So, probably not the "dupe fix" most players are hoping for.

So there won't even be a way to buy more than 1 booster cheaper in any kind of bundle? The bundles now contain the **** 3-card "Basic Boosters"? Oh my, I really hope it's a mistake there and it gets reverted.

This was a mis-communication, "Basic Boosters" in this instance means the regular 5-card boosters judging by the clarification:

Overall the amount of cards in the big box was 70 cards with a guaranteed rare or mythic, we have reduced the cost and the amount of cards to 25 cards (600 crystals down to 300 crystals). The idea for this was quality over quantity.
But, yeah if a 5 card booster costs 60 manacrystal.png and the 5x (premium) costs 300 manacrystal.png you only get the guaranteed rare as extra value.
I'm guessing they will drop the price of the 3x (super) to 180 manacrystal.png from 200 manacrystal.png to keep the value structure flat... which means no-one will buy it. (Not that many experienced players actually bought anything besides BB anyway.) Maybe they will slightly increase prize payouts overall to makeup for the lost cards/event rate.

edit: @THEMAGICkMAN you beat me to it! Gonna leave as is cause of extra discussion.

It wasn't mentioned but are deck slots coming out with the new update?
If not, what is the timeline on that?

The last we heard was "in a few months" from the thread here: https://d3go.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=59160

Did you say multiple deck slots?

I did! They’re part of a larger feature we’ve been working on that aims to help new players with deck building, and should also provide some interesting opportunities for Events. We don’t have a firm release date - but the feature should be in-game within the next few months. Hopefully I can share more details soon!

When is this update coming out? And will it be seamless?

Hey guys and gals. New to the forums here, but I've been skulking around for a while. Figured I'd actually make my first post count.

You mentioned that these new packs will be for all the previously released sets (BfZ, SoI, Origins, and AER.) My question is whether or not you will make all these available all the time, or will you rotate them the way you do now?

I'm one of those whales that isn't afraid to go out and get what I want.. And I would really like to be able to just grab packs of each set as we need cards. I know you've lumped the expansions together with main sets, but maybe try to replicate the way that it's done with paper magic and make them all available individually?

For example, I've been hunting GaH since it came out, and I've started needing some of the cards from BfZ ( like coastal discovery, to the slaughter and scatter to the winds), but instead of buying Aether Revolt with Kaladesh, maybe make Each set available separately?

    Thanks for listening!
We are all very grateful to know we're being heard!

Is there any update on deck slots?

I love the idea of new daily challenges being available, but that also probably means deck adjustments will be needed more frequently.

    Thanks madwren.
I have read that thread sorry about that. I meant my question to be for the devs. I should have said so. I was hoping to get more info from them.

I'm just playing 3.3 in RATC event and realize that there is nothing mentioned about increasing the speed of the fabricate buff animation... icon_e_sad.gif

Client updates like this one will always require an update from the app store. Server updates are seamless.

Also, Sarahschmara asked this above and I think it's an important question:
It will cost a "low amount" of crystals to enter the daily event. How low? 5? 50?
The cost of entry is the same as one Booster Pack, however you can earn Booster Packs by winning fights, so it evens out after winning just one fight!

It's possible I've missed something here, so correct me if I'm wrong but an entry fee for daily events seems a terrible idea. It costs mana crystals (see also premium, paid currency) to enter, but rewards are packs and mana jewels. So where now will mana crystals come from in game, and what if you don't win? It feels like you've taken it from free to play with micro transactions to pay to play with micro transactions. This feels like a great way to alienate players.

I agree. 1 booster costs 60 crystals. If it takes 60 crystals daily to just enter an event thats not gonna sit well with players.

Depends on the prize payout, if you can earn back 60 manacrystal.png in the event it's all good. If you get half a mythic worth of jewels, I'd grind that as much as my manacrystal.png budget allows. However, I've never spent 60 manacrystal.png on a 5 card pack because it's not worth it to me. If the prizes aren't substantially greater than just earning 1 or 2 normal packs I'm probably not going to play it more than a few times.
