Nope never use her anymore. mine is at 132 ATM and I have 7 other 141s, I never have reason to bring her out or finish leveling her. The AI can't play her effectively, but she is beasty on attack with her board control.

Thanks! I settled on a level 100 buffed, good enough for the tourney I think.

Her real use comes in when you hit 5/x/x so that Sniper Rifles hits the entire enemy team. At any level below that she's pretty lackluster.

I'll probably play this one casual like I did the one before it - I was able to hit top 25 in the last without shielding, I think I'll aim for the same here. Got to hold on to HP, and I'm not going to worry as much about covers until I've gotten the varsity team leveled up a lot more. Plus, I don't see using Psylocke a lot any time soon.

BWGS was one of my first 3*'s, and I think the 2nd (after Punisher) to get perfectly covered - she's 5/3/5. I am so looking forward to this tourney, in part so I can use her, and in part b/c I would love to get 3 more Psylocke covers. If I manage to swing a blue IW, even better.

The thing that people forget when running with GSBW is that you need to bring alongside someone that is strong in green. It seems counterintuitive, since you will be using her sniper rifle, but you need that tile damage since you will be matching green so much. Green is not a dominant color for her.

So, running her with Thor/Hulk/Ares is a pretty good idea, even though there is some overlap.

Exactly how many covers does it require for GSBW to stop sucking?


I've got a 2-2-1 version at level 43 right now and, even with the event boost, I'm finding that she's not much better than having the default version getting the **** kicked out of it to save my other guys some damage.

In case you didn't know, 3* scaling makes them sub-par to most 2*'s until they hit level 95+ (with the major exception being the 3* gold characters, who are better at 1 level higher than their 2* equivalent (i.e. a level 37 Lazy Cap is better than a level 36 2* Cap).

Once her Sniper Rifle starts doing 1500+, and once she's changing 3 or 4 tiles to green with her Tactics, then she becomes a very useful character.

IMO, her purple needs 3 covers to be "good," and her green needs 5. Without 5 in green, you're better off pairing her with a Thor or Punisher and fueling their green instead.

Was thinking of using Mags / Hood, but decided on Hood / Black Panther for now.
I think that team might be extremely annoying on defense - yes, you can deny me green, how 'bout some claws to the face instead?

And if the AI prioritises Intimidate over Wrath, that should lead to a _lot_ of Defense tiles.

If I can easily get my 4th blue Baglady then great, if not I think I'll just have some fun playing with that team and get an easy top 5.

I think for offense I'll indeed switch to Mags/Hood, and then switch in BP when I'm done for the session.

This tourney gives me a good reason to take my GSBW out! I have had her full covered forever and she is at level 111 but with so many other characters to use - she has been collecting dust. Look out pvp - here I come!

Thinking BP/LT for most of this one (maybe a smattering of Patch/C.Mags). Downed my widow right before she got Sniper rifle off? No problem, here's an another AoE green nuke for you then. Plus LT will tank green for her on offense.

I would use LT if he wasn't soft capped at 89 :S
