Ugh, of course It's a blue IW. Those seem to be rare these days, I've already sold one yellow and one green yet am sitting at 2 blue. Hopefully I can get an easy enough bracket, I'm guessing not many people have her at high level.

Well at least with this ending on a European afternoon, I can cut wayyyyy back on shield expenses.

Nope never use her anymore. mine is at 132 ATM and I have 7 other 141s, I never have reason to bring her out or finish leveling her. The AI can't play her effectively, but she is beasty on attack with her board control.

I'm pretty sure it is. I abused that era, as well, and I only have 4 in blue. One was from an elite tourney top 3. I know all of the shield guys were pretty stoked about the reward, as well.

I needed HP to shield if necessary in First Avenger, but I was so ISO and HP-starved thanks to the Unstable Iso-8 (why saddle poor Johnny with such a badly executed event, nooo, he'll never live down the shame T_T), that I actually went to Shield training and got the 1500 prog reward (100 HP), which put me at #1, also got some cHawkeyes (rebuilding him since I want to have lulz with him and Hood, I don't care if this sounds dirty, they have a 4,5x crit multiplier, so Hood does tons of damage with a well placed crit) and of course ISO.
Was lonely out there on the very top, started having really difficult matchups only worth tiny points, so I called it a day and tanked back to oblivion.

Green GSBW is the stuff of legends, verily.

Edit: thankfully this event has a green Ares at 600 pts, finally my 2* roster will be cover-complete and with perfect builds to boot, not counting the dynamic duo (Bullseye & Bagman).

This is the first time I've used my gsbw (now 1/1/3) and even with the low covers she has been amazing.

With cmags the hood and her, you have massive board destruction and a generation with the whole rainbow, this team is amazing on offense.
5 blue and a decent board and you're set to take very little damage and win quite quickly.

^ I've been running Punisher/Spidey to cover the rainbow (strong red and green, GSBW does not possess...), but your set up is also nice, considering how much I like playing Mags/Hood. It's just that Widow's purple is unlikely to be used when you have Mags' nuke, while her red is impossible to use with Mags unless you somehow cascade into 20 red. With Punisher and Spidey she at least fuels Punny's strikes.

I am unsure why people say GSBW is good. I believe it is the lack of green covers for me but she is **** at level 66 even when buffed (2/2/3). I have spent a lot of iso just now to level her and it was one of my worst decisions so far.

Well, yeah, it's pretty much the 2 man tourney again right after the lazyCap tourney, since most people do not have many covers for both and both are slowish compared to most other characters. So choose your 2 men wisely and be sure to play in Desert a lot, maybe you can pull Sniper Rifle once or twice during the tourney (this game needs achievements... "Crotchkicked the opponent 200 times" - yum!)

I think I should start playing the lottery today.
After sitting on one pink cover for forever, I got one from the Event token today.
Coupled with the alliance reward, GSBW is now cover-maxed at 5/5/3. Hardly the greatest build, but usable.
Now debating whether to put some ISO into her to get her up from 65.

Aside: Other reason for playing the lottery: pulled a red Lazy Captain from the daily deal red ISO token.
