As far as what we should look for going forward, maybe someone who always hits like 500-600+ and is starting or fully in the 2-3 star transition? I'd also like to keep in the top 50 alliances in pvp which shouldn't be too hard to do honestly. As long as we get the covers in pve, I don't care nearly as much about that side of it.

Trying to figure out my roster next.

I need one more yellow lazy cap cover to go to 141 from 128. Problem is that would cost me more hero points then I currently have. I'd also like to get another green Punisher cover to put him at 5 green. Again, HP would be at issue. I'd also like to respec OBW to 3/5/5 from the 5/5/3 she is currently at to work better with Punisher.

My other legitimate options for iso right now are Hulk (can take from 50 to 115 and have 5 green and 4 black) and Falcon (can take to 89 from 20 with 3 covers in each color). Got about 72,500 in iso.

I agree Iningo. I think 500+ is nice and achievable. Of course there may be times when someone misses the mark or can't play, but it's nice to have benchmarks. I also agree that ideally we get some in the transition because then we all would have the same rosters.

As far as your roster and HP goes, the only HP I've spent on characters was respecing my OBW and I don't regret it. She's great at 355 and much better than the 544 that I had her at. The 5 in espionage really helps, but the only thing I don't like is that it really cuts down on my team options because the damage potential is so great.

I wish I could give you an extra Pun green because I've gotten two that I can't use because he's maxed in Green.

I like Hulk and I have him at Lv. 70, but I would say save the ISO and wait to see if Daken is released in the next PvE.

Do you use Hulk or Falcon all that much? If you like them, then disregard what I said. I find Hulk's Anger is the best thing about him, but I don't really enjoy using him on offense unless in a special situation like PvE. When I fight Hulk, I do enjoy using Anti-Gravity Device to neutralize Anger.

Im very inactive on the forums atm due to my life has really picked up the pace these last days.

But i still read everything said and when i have the energy i will also post. Might not be as long and rambly as usuall though.

As for the whole where should we end up thing.

I know i would like to stay a top 50 guild thats for sure. But i also know that with the recent changes to mmr and pvp and some of your guys rosters not beeing full of 3s i realise that sometimes it wont happen. But i would like us to try.

Im not for kicking ppl left and right and become an elitist guild. Im here to have fun and score some covers.
That beeing said, totally underpreforming is not cool as well.

Im for the new guy taking brod's friends place.
We need guys that are a little bit more into the game.
Btw, brod, your comment about him beeing a slacker or freeloader or how you called it made me laugh.

I figured he'd be the least useful for awhile but was under the impression that he was more active than that, sorry.

Side note: I am very unhappy with whatever they changed as far as MMR goes.

This is so true. I don't want them to nerf OBW, but until you get to the highest levels, the metagame almost demands that you use her to be competitive. I'd love to see more variety than the endless Thor/OBW teams.

There's no one that does what she does. Spider man does what she does in a different manner, but way harder to get his covers. She stalls heavy hitters like LThor/BP and heals through match damage until you can power off your skills. She uses purple/blue which almost no other hero does. Mags/Spidey are the only real replacements for her color spread. It's scary but you can beat on 141s with just OBW/PUN.

There's not much they can do to prevent OBW/Thor teams without removing OBW. Any change to her would make her probably useless. Why have to damage dealers when you can have one that keeps the other one healthy and feeds him ap by stealing it from the other team preventing tons of damage. I think they were hoping Falcon could replace OBW, but I think it's going to take a lot to bump her down a few notches.

Agree. I still use obw quite frequently even though i have a decent 3 roster. However, hood has been taking her place more and more lately. I value his steal alot higher than obws. I just wish he could heal aswell. But going with patch minimizes the heals i need so its usually all good.

Also sick of obw thor teams. One good thing about this mmr change is i rarely see 2* teams anymore and there is more variety in the 141 league.
The bad thing is that, well, im fighting 141's...

Speaking of the widespread use of OBW/Thor, for the Hood lightning round, I started by using OBW/Hood/Juggernaut. It was actually a really fun team and was able to take down a fair amount of 2* teams. At about the last half hour, I switched to Thor.

What are some decent team combos for this pve. I did throw iso into my 2* Mags. just feel like he can be of some help on this. Thinking him and LittleShield bro can help on the Goon nodes. Mag feeds Blue Shield, Blue Shield removes CD tile.

Depending on how strong your Patch is, I just go with M. Storm/Patch/Thor or sub in Magneto when needed. I also use Hawkeye for PvE.

So in the Top Gun PvP I ended up in 63rd with 855. It may have been my highest point total thus far. The top 10 included 3 SHIELD, 2 FDV, and 2 ScAvengers. The point range for top 10 was 1314-1120. I wasn't as active as I probably could have been during this tourney and I almost forgot that it was ending until around 2 hours before it ended. I got 500 points in those last few hours. Ultimately, I felt that it wasn't too difficult to get the points, but I did use boosts a few times to speed matches up. I ran 85OBW/80Pun/45Falcon.

What were your experiences? The massive increase in points definitely surprised me.

If possible, if you guys could provide similar info like the point spread for top 10 and who you were using, that would be great.

Great initiative. Here is my take.

First i lucked out in my bracket. It was fairly easy and i got first place with "only" 1100 points.
I say only cause since they changed how mmr works we can almost certainly expect alot higher points in the future.

There is to my knowledge no way to lower your mmr now. The only way i can think of would be ignoring a few events and im not willing to try that just yet.
I belive they now base your mmr on season points not counting the shield training.
So you basicly is punished for doing good once more with the same rewards...perfect isnt it?

As for me. I was only seeing 141's the entire tournament. And every fight can be game over.
The fights were overall worth alot more points however.
But since its so dangerous to play 141's the fights take alot of time. And its kinda frustrating.
Also, getting hit, losing 40 points when i win 20 is not really ideal.

And i basicly have to play with a healer in my lineup aswell if i want to play for a longer stretch.
So i ran falcon/spidey/patch. Lvled spidey to 130 and patch is 141. Falcon is not lvled.

I hate the fact that i MUST bring a healer AND a mandatory class. It gives me very few options...

23rd at 935, barely held on to stay top 25. Top 10 started at 1055 so I joined a Rags bracket when everyone was making a push and hoping for better luck on that tourney.

I have no yellow Patch covers, but guess that's just the way it goes sometimes.

Finished 30th with 849 points. The top 10 went from 1011 to 1346. First time i really had to push to stay in the top 50. I was using storm/magneto most of the time. Thinking of switching it up as I've been getting hit tons lately making it very hard to get to the top 10.
