Regarding event scores and burnout, I don't think anyone should stress out about not putting up a top 10 finish. Like Xormar says 500 points isn't too hard but IMO even a modicum of effort is appreciated.

Also, Pampl, since we can afford to be picky, you really should stay in guild until we actually find someone for your spot. I know you left already but rejoin. If you ever decide to come back to the game you might come back to some surprise covers/hp/iso. You've more than earned this courtesy since you've been a great contributor to Hubris' good finishes.

I also think we should give Budie a shot at the spot if he's interested.

Digb, I actually think it won't be long before you might start liking pvp more than pve. I think the gameplay naturally gravitates toward the versus events as your roster matures. When you can start placing high without insane retaliations to earn multiple 3* covers for characters you already have, getting a new 3* becomes less attractive. The only problem is the inevitable nodes requiring him in the next event.

I've been in the dark for this PvE, so I just try to eek out top 300 in each sub so I can get the (kind of ****) Assault Tokens. I will be happy when the Hunt is over. It's very monotonous.

I also agree with much of what has been written. I think 300 is reasonable for PvP, although I think 500 is definitely achievable.

For me, communication is key. If you need a breather or some time out, just let us know either here on the forums or in chat. I think we are all more than willing to accommodate, especially given the time commitment and long length of some of these events.

I haven't been shielding for the pvp events, but that's probably going to change now that everyone is going to be hungrier in the events. My goal is the fury cover and 10-packs at the end. Everything else is just extra. I've usually been more worried about PVE than PVP because they're easier and I can be more consistent than furiously charge to the top of a bracket. About 700 pts I find those 3* teams with 100+ and I don't find that very fun to play against yet. It does look like they've done some tweaking to the points gained/lost and you get pitted against. My MMR is tanked and in the GSBW event my opponents are 23/6/6 and in the season 1 events 30's and 40's.

I think like others have said 300 pts is easily attainable and 500 is not too much harder most times if you tank your MMR. You can even tank your MMR in the beginning of the event for the first day. It doesn't matter if you're giving points away in the event because they're probably not in your bracket or it just means you can steal those points back later.

So I have now turned my attention on to PvP. The whole season mechanic should make it fun and more inticing. So I think my plan is try and do only what I need to remain in the top ten of my main bracket in the Hunt while my Sub-event scores will not be as high as I have been. I just need more of an Idea how to go about these PvP's. I have read Xomars post about them but not sure I fully understand it yet. I am currently trying for top 25 placing for Hallowpoint. Need to know which team be better for it. 90 LazyCap/85 Wolvie Cap/73 MNThor (could add iso) or Thor/Wolvie.

One reason I wonder is BW does give some green tiles to either fuel Claws or Storm as her rifle will be to weak.

Guess it is more what should my goals be with my team. Am I top 25 should I able to sneak out top 10. And your suggestion itsto hit like 300-400 pts today. Make a push tomorrow and Shield up when I hit lvls I can't beat.

It kinda depends on your bracket where you will end up. I have gotten top 5 with as low as 523 points. I have also gotten first with around 700 points.

Getting an easy bracket is more luck than anything. Try joining events at different times. When you find a time that works for you, try to join at roughly the same time next event.

And about the climbing to 300 points. This is not at all needed. I usually do it to save time. For you it could mean healthpacks as well.

Since my roster is quite scary for 1 and even 2 stars, i can safely hang at 400 points without fearing attacks. Then when i make my push, i already have 400 points and thus saving me some time.

Pardon me for butting into the conversation.. I saw the post in the recruitment thread, and thought I would throw my hat in the ring.

I also went ahead and hit 'Join' in-game.. I hope that will not disqualify me! I just wanted to make it easier for you to review my roster.

Long story short, I am a daily player, somewhere around 120 days so far. Mostly self-taught, but interested in learning about the less transparent mechanics of the game as well.
As far as character progression goes, I am largely past the point of caring about 2* characters, barring a few straggler covers.
To be perfectly honest, I can't promise that I will able to keep up with these forums at all times, but I am willing and able to stay in touch through the in-game Alliance chat.

If there's anything else you'd like to know, or if there's anything else I can do to improve my chances at acceptance, please feel free to let me know.

Hello there.

I'm very interested in joining Hubris Alliance. My ingame name is Rustem, I'm playing for 103 days, my main roster includes maxed ** Thor, oBW, Storm, MNMags, Daken and top *** are 3/3/3 Punisher and 2/4/4 Cap. Recent score is 81000+ in The Hunt and I finished in top5-top50 in last PvP events.

I am curious about your pvp/pve numbers though purely from the standpoint of activity/participation. Numbers aren't the be all and end all, but it is a matter of fairness to everyone contributing to the alliance. We found out that daily player can mean a few different things since we recently removed a trial member who progressively went from really bad to zero in the span of the first 3 events after joining. I personally like the application though and especially like the willingness to learn so don't be embarrassed if there is room for improvement.

Also, no worries about the non-native english imo. I know we've got at least one Swede and he talks all the time! I'm guessing he's from southern Sweden since his english is so good (something you learn when you follow the NHL).

Yes, I joined some public alliance when they appeared. But now there are players with low activity and alliance is far from top100.

How do you know where i live!? Freaky dis One is. And that i love hockey...don't poke to far into my Brain though. Some scary **** **** in there.
