If i were you i would focus on obw and try to max her first. Then in your case 3 cap. You got lots of covers for him and he is acctualy good.

I hit it before you said not to but so far it has been fine. I am loving Cap in this PVE. He is by far my Favorite current one to use. If I can get enough RED and Blue and start tossing his Shield around it is fun.

Brodinator. Imo you have all the ? Right. Thats the builds i would use for them atleast.

As for your roster. Get ares up to 85. Then you got him + obw as a team.

Punisher is your most covered 3 so i would deffo focus on lvling him up first. He is also a top tier 3 wich helps a bit.
His build is debatable. But most agree that 5 in green is a must. After that its personal preference.
I like him with 355 but others say 553.

OK, trying to figure out what to do next as far as leveling. Here are my choices

Have a 115 lazy Cap, could take him to 128 (need one more yellow cover to be full 141).

Have Punisher at 64 and could now take him all the way up to 102 (I'm leaning this way). Another positive is that I could do better in the event that I haven't started yet.

Have OBW at 77 and could buy her 3rd black and take to 85 (never seem to get it) but would put my hero points down to 610 and we know will need space for Falcon and 3* Daken. My slots cost 400 right now. I guess I could sell someone like Moonstone who is only level 13 for me but has a decent amount of covers.

I'm leaning towards going heavy on Punisher and having him and lazy Cap be the cornerstones of my future team. OBW at 77 is enough to compete but I still think I'll be a pretty big target in pvp until I get 2 guys to the 120-ish level.

Also, as an aside I just started a new job this week and don't see being able to play during the day for a bit. Pve scores might suffer for awhile as no real ability to grind.

What do you guys think?

Iningo, what you're writing makes sense. I think leveling Punisher makes sense. He's very strong in this tourney. I also think Cap is a fair investment.

As far as OBW goes, she's pretty strong even at 77. Would the third black bring you to 553? If so, you aren't missing out on much by not having the third cover. If it was the 4th cover where you could get damage or even the 5th damange cover, I'd probably still say save until you have Daken and Falcon.

Personally, I'm doing The Hunt right now, but got up to around 700 in Army of One before being stuck. All my options are really strong 3* teams.

I don't have enough ISO in any one hero to be a good judge. Everyone says that punisher is non broken top tier. Also, Capt America scales very well is has been awesome in this event. I think it might be worth it to pump the punisher. It makes it easier to hold/earn point in the pvp and he'll become useful as you'll be able to break the 100+ point with him. His big thing is have 5 in green to get the 3 100+ strike tiles....that's what makes him strong.

I'll toss another vote for punisher. Mine is lvl 89 at 2/5/2 and he's just a solid well rounded character. Nice cheap skills, good board control with green, good splash damage with black, and it's game over once the strike tiles are on the board.

Solid thoughts from Rabbit. I don't post a ton, but if I'm gonna take a dive in a tourney, I'll be sure to let everyone know.

A tip for using Punisher's red: if you don't feel like doing the math to see if a guy is at 20/30/40% life and will be downed in one shot, then when their health bar falls past the last 4 letters in their name they're below 20%, last 6 letters is 30%, 8 letters is 40%. Spaces are as wide as a letter so they count. This is with the PC version's UI at any rate, and has saved me time when I don't feel like trying mental math or busting out a calculator.

I really hope you reconsider, altho chances are you have already left. I havnt logged in yet.
I too, was feeling burned out for a while, in some cases i still do.

To much pressure to preforme everywhere was getting to me. So i started to play when i felt like and all of a sudden the game was fun again. I still treat the game like that today, wich is why my pve score is plummeting.
Pvp is still fun though.

See right now I normally enjoy the PvE more and dread the PvP. But I think it is currently my lack in roster to place top 10 in pvp. This current GSBW I want to try my best cause I really could use fathor covers since I am yet to get any. I am trying to figure the best way to go about it. I think these seasons can be fun and will help people get a ton of covers but at the same time I can see it opening more of a gap for those who place well all the time and will get tons of covers while the lower tier are still cover stalled. but only time will tell.

Alright. First things first. New member, welcome! Nice to keep the commanders down and inviting rl friends/family members. Im totally fine with that.

Kakayou or fgtofogjf as he is called on the forums. I voiced my concern from the start about this guy. My gut feeling is usually dead on when it comes to things like this. Beeing down for one pvp tournament i can live with as long as its stated on the forums as to why. 3 is unacceptable. Instakick imo. I hate leechers.

Seems like we lost pampl. Big blow to us. He was one of the highest scorers in our guild and will be missed. Not only for the high points mind you. I would like to not fill up the guild just yet. Give the man a couple of days of and see if he wants back. If he does, i know i for one will welcome him back with open arms.

New guy applied just after pampl voiced his leaving. I see no reason not to try him out. Kick kakayou (or how he spells it) and lets get this guy in.

As for attacking all the content. HHereis what i will do atleast.
Im starting to dislike pve to the point where i dont even want to do it. But i will for two reasons.
1 the guild deserves my points.
2 its usually a new char that will be mandatory for new pve content.

Now, you only need one cover and with our alliance we have that locked down. So ill wait for Rubberbanding, clear a couple of high point nodes and keep doing that. Dont worry. I wont win first place in pve but i will give points to the alliance.

Pvp. Now, here is what the fun in this game lies for me and with the addition of long term rewards it got even better. And a new 4 is awesome. He even looks rather good. So please everyone. Do pvp. You dont have to win but getting to 500 points each event should not even be that hard.

The thing with the long events is that you don't have to place super high in all the sub events to end up with a really high overall score. For the Hunt, I've been shooting for top 100 finished in the sub brackets. Ive had a few where I've exceeded that (top 50) and a few where I've missed it (top 300ish), but in the overall bracket I'm sitting 23rd right now. Seems that consistently good (not great) finishes in the sub events lead to a much higher overall finish in the main bracket. It also helps knowing you don't have to try to rip out top 10s in every single sub bracket.

So I guess my whole point is that the above theory will be especially true for seasons. Just my two cents.

Also, top 100s are usually cake in pve sub events (at least for the Hunt). I enter as early as I can and then hit a few high nodes towards the end like Xormar mentioned. Maximizes your rubber banding. Work smarter, not harder.
