    I'll be doing my best on the tanking front to try and see if I can get some traction to climb out of MMR hell, but so far it hasn't taken much. Hopefully with a good push we'll be in the safe zone in the 70s or 80s. Being in the 90s worries me a little.

    I'm right there with ya, I've worked my way back into maxed territory (at least after the last update, which may not be related except for sheer timing)... this evening or tomorrow, I intend to spend several hours just tanking the tinykitty out of SHIELD nodes and see where that gets me. If it'll work properly, I'll at least be able to do better in the last couple of Season 2 events - I've seriously put just as much time into Cage thus far as the last two PVPs and I finished ~700 there and am barely past 300 here.

    I know the feeling. After fighting a handful of Hulks (I mean they're not really scary if you're careful, but it takes forever since you have to be careful) I just decided to skip them all cause they take too long and just aren't worth it. While it's satisfying to gather a bunch of AP and then just unleash it all, wiping everyone all in one go, it's not particularly fun to always be managing the opponents AP pool, making strategic matches and occasional Aggressive Recons. Anyway - have put a lot of time into this one, but hopefully it'll pay off (don't even need the top 10 covers, but might try for 1st - we'll see).

    only somewhat related cause of the daughter wrapping herself in her blanket thing, and your dark place comment. Got her a night light earlier since she and her brother have been fighting over this stupid seahorse that lights up and plays soft lullaby-type songs (meant for a baby but here are a 4.5 and 2.5 y-o fighting over it) and I tried telling her he was afraid of the dark and needed it more than her (plus it was given to him when he was a baby), but she countered that she was afraid of the dark too. So anyway, now it will never be a dark place. Unless I have to take it away from her because she wants to hold it in her bed with her (but it's an LED thing and kind of bright up close).     We finished 49th in the second running of Cage Match scoring over 100pts more per player than the first one and gaining an extra 50HP.

    We are less than 48 hours from the finish of season 2 and are sitting in 95th position. Any points you can add in Lord of Thunder or the Shield Simulator could be vital. If we give one last big effort then I am sure we can finish in the top 100.

    If there's one thing about kids at that age, is that reasoning only works so far. Doubling up on items seems like the 'easy' choice.

    I've got world cup on the TV, LOL on the computer and another window for surfing. Beer on the table. I should get some snacks ...

    Yeah I can probably add at least another 1K from SHIELD. Embracing the tanking has brought my scores back up from the 400 level.

    Happy Father's Day to all the dads! Hope you guys have great days doing whatever the hell you want icon_e_biggrin.gif. I've gotten about 2000 in SHIELD, so while I can probably get more, I'm not sure if I'll really spend the time going for it. Still only at like 150 for LT's tourney and my bracket looks easy-ish, so I'm hoping to get to 900+ and shield for top 10. Hope that's enough for our alliance too! If we're really close to the cusp, I'll see what I can do about getting more icon_e_smile.gif. Maybe people won't attack my maxed Thor as much as I usually get (although still running OBW doesn't help deter people I don't think.
