I am loving watching the Alliance Top 10 for this one. It's like watching a contentious F1 race, only without all the possible fiery explosions.
It's also pretty obvious that forumites either A) Have an advantage through greater in-game knowledge or maybe just Tend to be the more hard-core players.0 -

The game doesn't all people to communicate, which is required to be able to form a good alliance... Everyone who doesn't go to the forum got tinykittied hard. The experience of getting less rewards from events must be frustrating for them.
Personnaly, I would have added an official forum and linked it from the game. It isn't clear that this d3p forum is related to the game.0 -

We are your favorites right? Never get mentioned in any of the big threads.
Maybe I'm just finally happy with my signature. Took like 4 tries to get something I found acceptable. Still a tiny bit too big but at this point were done.0 -

If your signature isn't so big that it leaves the forum begging for a "hide signatures" profile option it is NOT BIG ENOUGH0 -

Numbers are starting to clip off the ratings column for me (phone screen, ftr), and I'd also love for there to be commas, space permitting. In the meantime, there's all the space in the world in the rank column (enough for 6 digits, I'd say, plus the number/pound sign).0 -

Is there any talk among the developers of adding an in game messaging service?0 -
Phantron wrote:I think they need to add a PvE points component to scaling. Let's say you did all the missions in simulator for 3000 total points (everything down to 1), and then someone later hits a single mission for 3000 points. I suppose it's possible that the first guy is a lot more awesome than the second guy, but they got the same number of points! In the scaling thread we're finding a lot of cases where those two guys are actually equally strong.
I know they don't want to encourage grinding, but right now this is the opposite effect. If you grind, you're actually punished. Right now Spiderman makes this irrelevent but the concept is still backwards.
Actually, they should make PvE scaling only depend on your total PvE points. I mean, isn't that the point of why we're doing these events? More PvE points = doing better on an event, and the harder everything should be? Who cares how you got those PvE points. If you have a million points in Simulator Basic, you must be doing pretty good and should be fighting harder stuff no matter how you got those one million points.
I tried the play once tactic when this round 3 started. I played all nodes in both easy/hard and each were averaging 40-50's with some 60-70's thrown in there. Once I cleared all in both, I stopped playing until a refresh.
Once that happened, almost all of the hard level is 130-180 with some 230's tossed in there, which they basically beat me up and take my lunch money.
The easy mode, not as easy, but at least not all 130-230 level baddies.
My thing is, for me, I WANT to get all the rewards for each node, at least the iso as it comes in handy. But how can you hope to do that if you're screwing yourself by replaying the node to get said rewards? It makes no sense.
on this latest refresh, I've been replaying more, trying to complete rewards in at least the "easy" one, that still has a couple of "deadly" nodes.
Considering that it seems you have a 95% chance of getting 20 iso, which is frustrating, you really have no choice but to play that match again to try to get one of the rewards. I still have at least two nodes with 3 remaining rewards to get, though I know I've replied each of them around 5 times each.
So, not only can I not get the node rewards, replaying said node to try to get the rewards winds up screwing me on the next refresh since I've played so many levels. At least, that what seems to happen.
I just think they really need to reevaluate that whole situation as it just seems like some overlapping requirements, if you want to keep scaling manageable, don't play any matches. If you want to grind to get all the rewards, prepare to not be able to win numerous nodes due to scaling.0 -

Can we please have a variety of boosts as one of the four rewards for the next event?
I am SO SICK of getting those damn critical ones, they're useless.0 -
Even though I keep forgetting to utilize them, CMags disagrees0
-
So does GSBW. (But some variety in boosts would be nice.)0

I'd rather it was just ISO or a Cover token.
I don't really like getting boosts as rewards considering they drop randomly anyway.0 -

What? Criticals rule. Just use them with proper characters like Mags, hawk, bulls, mstorm@hitech|desert, hulk, thos, etc.0 -
The point leader in the Normal Sub is at 18,305
Hard? 18,486
I'm unsure that point totals in the past 21 hours have doubled the first 12.
I was thinking last night 250,000 was well within reach. Now? Not so much.0 -
You want something done, you have to do it yourself...0

It depends on if they double the points available in the last round to completely invalidate the first 3 rounds.
It happens a lot.0 -
For those who care about such things, I did the math last night and rubberbanding seems to kick in at about 1900 and you hit 10x bonus at about 19,000 behind. The actual figure I was getting seemed to be about 1870.
The reason the number is inaccurate is that I cannot see the global leader, so I had to calculate it by looking at the score for a known mission and calculating its multiplier. Then I completed a different mission and calculated the points multiplier for the new score for that known mission. The ratio of difference between my scores and the multiplier gave me the rough number.
While I was doing the testing I believe the global leader may have been increaseing their score, because I never got a consistant result, but they were all in the 1870 ballpark.
I also only did this testing on hard mode, so easy mode may use different numbers.0 -
Maybe triple the points? Going to break 150k tomorrow, in first with 142. I would like to get to the 8k reward. Do not need more DD covers. Looking for some Hulk/GSBW progression rewards plz.0
-
Broke 150,000 just now. I pumped Black Panther up to his soft cap level 89 now that I have four black covers for him, so that helped. He just languidly leans over from his tree branch and swats all of my enemies for 3500+.
He's crepuscular!0
