    You better post clearance level 7 rewards very very soon or you are going to have any other forum fire to put out.

    Who thinks heavily nerfing rewards is an acceptable step forward?

    HAHA i was just about to buy hero points.

    This is a horrible idea, go right back to the drawing board guys.

    Making anything worse is a huge misstep for any clearance. this should have exclusively fixed progression.

    There are too may 4 stars as it is.

    I will say this there is more ISO rewarded, but overall still a little disappointed and confused as to why this is such an improvement. Maybe 7-10 will be significantly better I just don't understand why the Devs are waiting to show us when so many of us on the forum are 4* plus players and can be a little volatile.

    Giving out multiple 3* covers in progression is nice. Making them all the same color is less so - people will inevitably end up wasting a lot of these, due to color constraints, which is a worse feeling than just getting 500 Iso to begin with. Can we not do that?

    Also, is the design intent with this further fragmentation that most brackets won't fill up completely? Is that why placement stuff is getting more stingy? I can see not putting as many 4*s in the shallow end of the pool, but that doesn't mean there should be fewer guaranteed covers overall. Rather the opposite, actually.

    The placement rewards look like a mistake imo. Doesn't match up with the SS already seen.

    Progression rewards look good, be interesting to see higher clearance rewards. 10 giving out 2 4* would be nice..
  • your alliance reward is lower if you play in a lower clearance level?? thats unexpected. everyone in an alliance getting different rewards for an alliance objective. im not sure of my alliances exact shield rank composition but that was one way to help lower rosters get a bit of a bump. how in the world is this going to work in a new character event. are low shield ranks locked completely from new characters now?

    We're not/never a T100 PvE alliance so that's mostly moot. T250 is listed at 1000/50, which I believe is still better than current (500/25). Sure, CL7 could be 5000/200 or something where it would easily sway the decision, but somehow I doubt it.

    I haven't seen anyone yet mention the CP rewards to the top 2-3 finishers in the 2-day subs...holy *beep* that's a lot of CP for a very select few!

    Thanks for the communication, it is appreciated!

    The details, however, are underwhelming thus far.

    The current rewards levels are unacceptable. It is not readily possible to earn roster-progressing rewards (3* rosters struggle get 4* rewards, etc).

    If the new clearance levels will not address thatvproblem, then what is the purpose of the system?

    If cl7 is roughly the current reward level, then why are cl8-10 not being released now? Shouldn't at least a level be an increase in reward for vets? Maybe CL7 will be that increase, but I am not optimistic.

    Also, why is this all buried in screen shots? Can't we just get a table in plain text for all 7 CLs?

    Specific thoughts:

    (1) why is there a stand at token in the prog list? I thought they were all becoming elite tokens?

    (2) multiple 3* covers in prog table is good, kind of offset by reduced placement covers, but maybe different colors would be better.

    (3) 51-200 goes from a guranteed 3* cover (or 2) to elite tokens (each a 3/4 chance at a 2*, and random too). Very hard to see this as an improvment, even if the elite players are drawn off by higher CLs

    (4) mystery boosts are less good than fixed HP boosts.

    (5) modest iso bump is nice, but not enough given the scale of the problem.

    (6) 10 cp or nothing for individual sub rewards is just bad. Too much for the top, too little for everyone else.

    (7) why are alliance rewards getting worse?

    (8) seems like there are too many low level CLs. CL 3 will not be useful to players past their first month or two. Do we really need two CLs below it, and another 2 cls between it and the current reward level? Seems like this system may slow down early roster progress (depending on how fast ranks 1-25 go).

    So, lets sum it up:
    - Clearance 6 is mostly the same as game now.
    - Heroic tokens were replaced by elite tokens with 0% chance to get 4*s
    - 25CPs are reduced for ranks below 6
    - 3* for TOP 20 instead of top 100 as it is now - pretty bad for tier 6
    - Whales/cheaters/people with no real life (trust me, no sane player spend 6+ hours in PvE each day) in top 10 will get some rewards, others dont.
    - Node rewards unchanged i am afraid, but their difficulty are increased significantly
    - Additional ISO compensated for covers and other rewards removed


    Verdict:

    Two steps back disguised as progress forward. I was really looking forward to clearance leves but now i strongly doubt levels <7 will get any better and i am sure levels >7 will have to wait for another dissapointment.
    Devs, please, next time you have something big, dont tell us in advance... so far this is huge disappointment.

    Cosntructively: Change nodes rewards accoding to clearance level, including replacing standart tokens with elite ones. Also change nore drain rewards from 10XP to f.e. 3XP * Clearance level or 5+ 2* clearance level.

    Edit: After seeing rewards in game i must say its not that bad. Lets just hope tier 7 will be doable for non whales too icon_e_biggrin.gif

    How does this change help new players build a competitive roster faster than before? With this change you're locking them into a lower SCL which forces them into much worse rewards and months upon months of grinding until they can even hope to earn 4* rewards. And for veterans you have.... wait for it... status quo with minor changes. So the message to players is: "Spend harder!"

      First of all, thank you for posting this today so we don't have to wait until tomorrow to get a peek at the rewards.

      Second thought, though, language matters. If you say Elite tokens are replacing standard tokens in CL5+, and then the reward structure shows supplementation instead...that unnecessarily creates misguided expectations and justifiable concern. For example, the 401-800 rewards are still standard tokens rather than elite.

      Final thought: I'm keeping my powder largely dry while I wait to find out if there are 4* covers in the CL7 progression - because that's really what I'm interested in most - but I do think the changes to placement rewards are cause for concern if CL6 can be extrapolated at all to CL7.

      It's a 2-day sub, so I assume twice the usual? Still more for T3, but 4-10 are getting hosed.

      Well, the positives I see in the progression table for CL6 are this: 2 x 3* covers instead of 1 (I don't see the third one that others have mentioned?), higher amounts of ISO, 10 easy Command Points, and an Elite token.

      Placement rewards there are ... a mixed bag. I'll definitely take the Elite tokens over the 2* covers, and there's more ISO there too. 1250 for T400 for instance (which is about where I end up when I half-**** it, which is most of the time these days). Top 20 to get a guaranteed 3* cover is horrible though. It almost looks like they want to replicate the 'RNG progression' model by swapping in Elite tokens where the 3* covers used to be.

      It'll be very interesting to see what CL7 looks like. The sooner the better please.

      And.. what happened to "Standard tokens are getting replaced by Elite"? There's still a lot of them in there.

      (Oh, as for CL3, looks like a total 'do not bother' for anyone here.)
