    Now I'm just picturing two people yelling at each other while a generic disaster movie is happening.

    Moved up a bit in the events, was 74 in ISO and 19 in Best There Is. I have a low-mid leveled Patch and I'm enjoying the rare match I have with him. He's really all-in on the high-risk shtick, it's neat to try out.

    Well, I've been complaining about OBW for a while to no avail. I don't mind losing a good match but i f#cking hate losing to OBW just because I feel really burned when she steals my colors and uses them to heal her team. It feels like cheating. And for that reason I hadn't been using her in matches at all.
    I've been collecting her covers but haven't been investing any iso in her. I've sold her a few times too.
    I've accepted that they're probably not going to nerf her anytime soon, if at all, and I'm so sick of losing to teams totally dependent on her sheisty, conniving ways. So I've recently decided to take mine out of the box.
    My OBW right now is only a level 47 but I have her equipped with 1purp/4blue/5 black and ****! Paired with punisher or daredevil she's bomb. If I'm low on health and heals I'll just take on a weak opponent and suck up all the blues. I still think her character's a thieving cheat but if you can't beat em...
    Right now I'm considering stunting her level growth by not collecting all her colors. I'm thinking I'll wanna keep her at 1 purp/5 blue/5 black. This way her recon skill will only cost 5 purple so I can keep the opponent deprived of colors, though it will limit her max health. Wuchu guys think? Anyone have a maxed out OBW with a different configuration?

    Well im #3 in ISO and #71 in the First Avenger. Been running with OBW, Thor, and Hulk.

    I'm using a 3/5/5 OBW at 85 right now. I wanted her max and I (along with quite a few people) felt that 3/5/5 was best for that. I feel like what level you want Recon at really is up to personal preference though. I use her in most of my teams (my First Avenger team is 45 Capt (1/1/2), OBW and 69 Ares (4/3/4)). Even though I don't have all of Ares covers I've been using him instead of my maxed out Wolverine or Thor just because I find him more enjoyable and the matches 'feel' quicker (whether or not they are I'm not sure).

    I get your frustration with OBW but I don't know what to tell you. My original roster ideas when I was new to this game was "I want a team that can play for hours on end" which originally made me have Wolverine (2*) as my star player, because he just kept going. With Wolverine (2*) incapable of doing that now, I'm relying on OBW to have that function for me. If she didn't exist or wasn't as strong, with healing the same as it was, I probably would have burned through my healing packs and end up not playing as much. I'm fairly certain I'm not alone in that situation either.

    I'm rocking a lvl 61 3/3/4 OBW, she's amazing. Does lvl 1 recon steal blue? I don't see the harm in going to lvl 2 on recon as that still means 2 purple matches as long as you steal once. Combined with Wolverine's strike tiles she's an absolute monster. In a way I don't want to progress to a 3 star team as I enjoy using her so much!

    My only problem with OBW is that I love Classic Storm's AoE blue, which kinda conflicts with OBW's heal. I really need to divorce myself from my Magneto NOW / Classic Storm combo which tends to be 90% of my PvP tactic.

    Managed a top 5 in the Capt America event and sitting back in the ISO event until the last hour when (fingers crossed) I can rubberband my way back to a top 50 finish, although a lot depends on whether the big nodes have lv230 mobs. Human Torch really doesn't look that great to me, and he's going to take ages to level up enough to be effective.

    Will be interesting to see points when the patch goes live, but I fully appreciate that we're a casual / active Alliance rather than hardcore nutters.

    I finished top 10 after bouncing anywhere from 1-75 for First Avenger, since I never shield. The top 50 from our Alliance was greatly appreciated as well. We seem to be consistently snagging the cover for all the Alliance events I've seen, so that's pretty great.

    I was using Ares for most the event, which actually made me consider falling in ranking to grab another cover for him. Hopefully with the GSBW event here I won't regret my decision to keep up my rank.

    It's been a while since I posted on here but thought I'd better post an update.

    We are doing pretty well overall, I dont think we have missed a top 100 finish since we formed and hopefully the cover rewards and big wads of ISO have been put to good use icon_e_smile.gif

    Just a quick warning for folks - this doesnt apply to most people who are placing either really well or at the very least doing their best towards getting these alliance rewards.

    The only requirement I set when forming the alliance was that people be active, now we almost missed out last night on alliance rewards for a top 100 finish, particularly in the hard mode PVE and that was primarily down to 5 members of the alliance not scoring even a single point. Sometimes real life prevents you from taking part and thats fine as real life take priority but please let us know if thats the case and it wont be held against you.

    I'll be keeping track of people not taking part in alliance events and repeat offenders will have to get the boot, its just not fair to the rest of the alliance who are grinding their **** off only to face the possibility of missing out through no fault of their own.

    Ah, I wish I'd seen that after starting a spreadsheet while bored at work ^^

    The new patch will make things more obvious (hopefully) as it gives historic performance in events. I'm not sure if that includes at alliance level or just for yourself though?

    I'll make sure to post here if I go on holiday or otherwise find it difficult to participate, but usually I try to rank high in all events except LR.

    I don't think people should be penalized on the hard heroic mode. That **** is really hard. I use 2 to 3 health packs per fight after the first node. If they aren't playing in the easy mode too, well then. SOL. icon_lol.gif

    I'll take heroic modes into account, with a limited roster of characters to choose from it can be difficult to get a high score if you dont have the right characters, especially so on the hard mode. My main concern is people getting 0 points on normal mode and 0 points in the PVP tournament.

    Im not going to kick someone over 1 event but doing it regularly will.

    Spreadsheets are good if you've started work on something I'd be happy for us to put it to use.

    I got the impression that historic scores would be for alliances (and maybe also personal) results.

    The timing of the events ending in the afternoon rather than midnight is/will hurt my performance for these last few and upcoming tournaments. I'm really big on the midnight push, I missed out closing the distance in the First Avenger because I was at work, this round of Venom's will probably be the same.

    i don't think you can see how well someone is doing within their bracket, just see how well they are doing in regards to the alliance. It would be kind of neat to see how well you were doing in your bracket, so if you click on the Alliance Rating, it would show how much you have for the alliance and where you are in your bracket:

    Basically go into the event, click on alliance ranking, go to the alliance ranking and click on our alliances score.

    It will show you how every ember of the alliance has scored.
