    OK, just blasted my way to 1004 and shielded /just/ before the first retaliation came in! icon_e_biggrin.gif

    I do hope y'all are saving yourselves for a last-minute rush, because we're sitting well down the Alliance rankings right now...

    edit: oh, and I celebrated by pushing Patch up to his rightful 141! (528 ISO left in the bank)

    Yep, I think I'm down around 400ish now. Still, doesn't change the fact I had a clean run to 600. Should have seen how high I could get before first retaliation.

    shielded myself 1 match too late in wolverine event.

    could've been 910 points and shielded but am 830 and shielded now.. 3 nasty retalliations.

    Don't worry, I won't go too high...I'll only gather enough points that I don't fall out of top 10 (will be shieled and off for the last 8h)

    pushed to 908 to get the 50hp...done now, shields are up, should be enough for top 10 icon_e_smile.gif

    Gah... 3-hr shielded at 713 due to massive retaliations, then noticed that was probably because I had played right across the 8hr remaining mark without noticing.

    So much for heeding my own **** advice.

    I saw you pass me up so I also ignored qtq's advice and went for it. Took awhile becuase I kept getting attacked by caw as soon as I beat him but then pushed above 900 (personal record btw). Hope that will be enough. I don't think theres anyway that we fall out of top 5.

    I've got one more push saved for the end if I need it. However I just won 2 defensive battles (got me to 946) and protected myself from dlaw a few times so I will check back in 6.5 hours

    Won't be able to play for the rest of the night so I shielded at 701 which puts me at #6.

    Huey, what team you using that got you 2 defensive wins? Except for an unlucky cascade I don't see how anyone can lose a match heh.

    Edit: Wow, been hit 8 times in the past 5 min. Would have lost over 200 points if I hadn't shielded!!!

    92 spiderman
    85 OBW

    Its not original (or even my main team) but it made my matches formulaic. Get green and blue = win. I've won about 6-7 defensive battles with this team. I can say that if you dont have spiderman and their patch goes off first, you're in for some trouble. I almost lost once with that team against a Patch, OBW, Hood. Annoying as heck until Hood died.

    i just did the exact same thing, push to 900 then shield for 8 hours hope i get top 10.

    came across qtquazars name like 20x skipped them everytime
