Well I was in it for the comraderie of the alliance so I guess I'm out of here, I just would have liked a PM so I wasn't left standing around wondering what happened. I was the third member of the scAvengers and had a lot of fun and good times, especially in the forums here when we were first formed, it was an exciting and fresh enterprise and the possibilities seemed limitless. Grinding out near the end of the tourneys was a blast and the back and forth of the alliance is what really made it special for me and I won't forget my time here. A special thanks to Emmy and Moghwyn for creating the alliance and to all those who stuck together and pulled off some amazing runs. I wish the scAvengers the best of luck and may you fare well in all your future journeys!

Sugarman, you were away for a while, and I only vaguely remember some post on this thread about that. There might have been something said in chat, but with the limited history it's entirely possible whatever was said was never seen by others. If you can play again on a regularly basis I'm sure we'd like to have you back, but you can't blame Phaserhawk for being a bit too trigger happy when it seems like we're missing 3 or 4 guys which puts an undue burden on everyone else trying to at least get a top 100.

I think we need to have somewhere to update member status because while I check this thread regularly, I honestly don't really know what everyone is doing and whether someone is just on break or mysteriously disappeared, and even if someone post they're going to be gone for a while on page 60, it's entirely possible only a few guys saw it and the rest never knew about it. For example I think someone is recently on vacation for the next week, and that's perfectly fine, but I don't even remember who it was, and another person might not have even seen that message and just assume someone's MIA and remove him.
  • Bah, the game serves yet another kick in the crotch? Sugarman, you must contact CS to clear up the situation -- I'm positive on this one they will post you the missing cover as you were in the alliance at the season end. reignp is probably in same shoes.

Also if you can play on you can be taken back.

I'm saying goodby and thanks for all the fish... it was a cool thing to fight together, keep up the team spirit and remain nice.
  • hello guys..i have 16 000 in pve(prodigal Sun) and i finish season 1 with 12 385pts i have a solid rooster punisher 128lvl..hulk 92 and many 3 star covers..only two star are obw and thor..have 22 slots..i;m active player and look for an active alliance who is fun and love chat with members..send me private message if you are interested...Tnx
  • It's finally time for me to say farewell as well. It's been a great time together with you, I don't regret a single minute. May your scores stay high, your scaling low and your healthpacks never run out.

I've offered my spot to Sugarman in case he wants to rejoin, please give him a day or two to respond. I might also take another look at the game in a season or three, on the slim chance that D3 has discovered the virtues of customer interaction.
  • So we said goodbye to some of our members:
    Moghwyn a.k.a. fourtwodotone
    pasa_
    Sugarman
    Caprion1
    reingp

Thank You for all the fun times. Thank You for grinding. Thank You for all the support. Without You we wouldn't be able to win some of those PvP.

    Our new members:

    AnubisUltra (formerly of Iso Illuminati)
    Azrhyn (formerly of Iso Illuminati)
    Der_Lex (formerly of Chaos League)
    Malcoran (formerly of X-Poles)
    peloos

Welcome and I hope You will feel good with us.

As for me... well, my willpower sucks and addiction won. I'm far from happy about it, but i listened to some of You and took the game easy. And... I can have fun again. A bit.

    Other stuff:

    * Phaserhawk is now the one who's in charge. Looks like he has more hardcore approach that I'd expected.
    * We will probably say goodbye to one other member, we're currently waiting for CS to get his Commander status removed.
  • Thanks for the wellcome here and in the chat icon_e_biggrin.gif

This PvP was hard but fun. I loved it when you kicked my team while shielded in less than a couple of minutes before it wents off XD XD XD

    Here some personal Info ;D
    AnubisUltra
    * 36yr old, male, Spain (GMT+1), Married.
    * Play on Steam (still awaiting for the option to sync with phone).
    * Enthusiastic player since the steam launch.
    * Dedicated daily player (I prefer PvP, PvE refresh time is my worst enemy).
    * Almost Every Hero/Villain full covered (new ones are still in progress icon_razz.gif).
    * I have found a lot of usefull information in the forums.
    * I fight hard even when I don't need the covers If anyone in the alliance needs them ;D

LOL, it's hard to just hang up after half a year governing your life...

I'm too somewhat stuck in but see the light icon_e_smile.gif. I have some hard piece of work and when it's urgent and important I always had a tendency to look for some exit, MPQ serves it... so I played the last 2 PVPs too, in the first toxicadam nailed me for -46 tight the moment I finished the shield jump sending me back to start and playing teh extra game dragged another -100 hits so abandoned at 900, #17. The metal one went better, though got overclimbed in last 30 mins played 2 games before the bell up to #5 without accident. (Applied more care to leave the LT/BP team exposed not the crash team...) but my temp alliance fell to #112 this time so only 4 dakens for me instead of 6. But no big deal. The current PVP has nothing for me so I really sit it out beyond some playtest of LD.

PVE fares better, I really just played the nodes 1 time and only repeated a few interesting ones with Sentry or interesting opponents (the purple feed to Falcon is quite cheese).

In the Metal I saw the scAvengers for a few minutes going from #60 up while we were going down...

    Thanks for the welcome!

Alliance chat has been fun so far, and our results have been good. As for some general info:

    Der_Lex
    * 34, male, Dutch, divorced (but with a lovely new girlfriend), proud dad of 2 daughters
    * Daily player, currently on day 212
    * I try to go for 900-1000 points per PvP, 1100 if I really want the progression cover.
    * I'm crazy enough to get up at 5 am EU time for a last hour of PvE grind too, but of course only on nights when the gf isn't around. icon_e_smile.gif
    * I'm about 20 covers away from cover-maxing all my 3-stars. I have patch and Punisher at 141, with Lthor and Daken to follow as soon as I have the last covers for them. I have to admit Sentry has piqued my interest as well.
    * Besides wasting time on MPQ, I'm also very much an all-round gamer: video games, board games, miniature games, card games, roleplaying games (both pen and paper and LARP), you name it. If my daughters aren't going to turn out geeky when they get older, they're going to be constantly embarassed by their old man, I'm afraid.
  • Hello everyone.
It's andy from alliance. Sorry for being so inactive both in forum and in game. I really would like to contribute much more, but I just got seasonal work abroad for 4 months. I have very irregular access to the internet. I wasn't able to log in for about 1 week (maybe once for a moment) and my activity also fell down few days before leaving because of some preparations (and hitting a 3x141 wall in every PvP from the beginning while being in a crazy strong bracket + stupid change of scoring in the beginning of previous PvE, but that's another case).
I'm going to have no access to the internet again for almost 2 weeks now in about 1,5 day, and after that I'll be able to play 2/3 days per week on average, so it's probably not enough. I don't want to be leeching rewards out of Your hard work while doing nothing myself, so I'll leave alliance immediately (I'd really want that sentry, but the event ends after I lose access to internet for that extended period, so no new shiny character for me for a while). I know that as a commander I have to leave by myself and would have done it earlier, but I didn't think I won't have time to do that. I hope though that You will consider my application if there's some free spot in the middle of September, because I still want to play MPQ (and will, but very casually for a while). icon_e_smile.gif
See You around. I'll try to be here every few days and see what's happening. icon_e_smile.gif

You know, if nobody minds, you could always rejoin as a regular member after you've left as commander, and then a commander could let you go again after we've received the Sentry covers. That way you'd get a little going away present. icon_e_smile.gif

Yeah, that sound like a good idea. I'll leave and apply again. Than someone can accept and kick me out after rewards are given without any problem. I'll try to earn some more points as well. Of course if someone opposes to do that, then no problem. It's not like I can't live without Sentry, but I like having all characters. icon_e_smile.gif And who knows when he will be buffed and helpful in some events.
Ok, anyway, I'm leaving right now, applying and going to get some sleep. See You tomorrow. icon_e_smile.gif
  • Ah, forgot about some delay in joining alliance after leaving it. Couldn't apply yesterday so I've done it today. If You feel like letting me in for that last alliance cover as a regular member and then kicking out when You wish to, than I'll be grateful. If not, no problem. icon_e_smile.gif
Ok, I'm going away in few hours and will be back in 2 weeks. See You all around and good luck in all future events. icon_e_smile.gif
  • I'm getting several PMs to come back... and it's really hard to turn back to so much love really. So I kinda caved in...

I will discuss with my current alliance, as we're oscillating around #100 in the PVE -- if they can find a replacement with over 45k promptly, I can switch right on, if not (the likely case), I wait till the PVE ends so the folks has a better chance.

Glad to hear it, pasa! Considering how well we're already doing with 18/19 active members, you won't have to go completely nuts grinding. I think we're striking a nice balance between playing relatively casually and still getting those covers and HP. No regrets about joining up with this outfit so far. icon_mrgreen.gif
  • Good news Pasa icon_e_biggrin.gif

I have only heard good thinks about you since I joined icon_e_biggrin.gif I wish you can remove that (-ex) from your signature soon icon_e_wink.gif

Having not read this chat for a few days it looks like things are going well. I do disagree with emeryt though, I am not the leader, as I told him, I'll take Hand of the King, but to me emeryt is still the #1 guy. As for hardcore, lol, no I'm not, I try to be motivating, I may sound like I'm in it to win it, but I just want to have fun, be competitive but not stressed. S1 took a toll on everyone, the game has skewed to favor the new guys, and while that in itself is fine, it really punishes the older guys which sucks. That being said, I have a feeling our days of PvE dominance are over unless we all grind nodes to 1 and I for one don't like that. Although I see a simulator event is coming up and we have historically done very well in those, I don't think anyone should stress. I personally 100% feel that if we all play to our own personal standards, we are gonna be great with no added stress. That's how I took S1, and it's how I am going to take S2. If there's a tourney we all want to score high I know we can come together which is great to know. So for S2 play to your desires and we'll do great.

If hawk is Hand of the King, I call dibs on Master of Whisperers. And I vote for CH as Master of Coin. icon_mrgreen.gif

Considering that you're the only one over 60.000 so far... yeah. Why?
