I made it up as high as 760 in TBTI and then it started to get a little back and forth for a while so i figured better safe than sorry and shielded at 747. Should be good for the top ten.

If everyone under you is shielded just stay put. Keep a game prepared for the case everyone unshields or the last minute push.

I refreshed the shield -- just 1 game, didn't get enough-points offer to reach 900 in single play so I too call it a night, #5 now should be safe for t10 at the end. A snapshot of the final standing would be welcome if anyone who sees it is around.

Ditto. I bumped up to 877, but I'm in 1st place now after the former top player was attacked a few times. I'm ~50pts above #2 (TheUnwiseOne) & ~80pts above the only unshielded player in the top 10. I'm hoping for my second IW trophy cover! Although, I don't know if I'd ever put HP into any of the current 4 stars. Patch is so good that I can't imagine putting a ton of ISO into leveling up another Wolverine character while IW is purely a defensive character.

Looking at the First Avenger rewards, I really want that red Captain cover @ 1100, but can't imagine the frustration & shielding it would take to get it! I think the best I've ever done in a pvp tournament was ~950. Also, I brought my third character to lvl 100 (Black Panther) and bought my first cover today: yellow LazyThor. I'm up to 2/4/3. Eventually, I'm going to buy another green cover & hope to win the last 1/1/1 the next time he's a tournament reward. I think he's going to be the first character I max to 141. Easily, he has the best yellow skill in the game & his green isn't too shabby!

Well I unshielded for 2 quick boosted matches and retook first with 933. Going to q up another incase he notices and takes another run at me. Looking to max out Sue's green. Then I just need some more blue covers for her.

I'm shielded at #4 with 764 points and I'm afraid to try and go higher. Someone from #2 unshielded and lost over 250 points in about 10-15 minutes. Probably just miscalculated end of his shield. I feel sorry for him, but at least I'm 1 place higer thanks to that. I have to stay up few more minutes and see what happens in case some people try to make last push. Difference between #2 and # 10 is less than 100 points (4-10 just 30 points) and I don't know what's happening below #10. Top spot seems to be secured by Psykopathic with around 260 points lead over #2.

EDIT: everyone I can see above and below me are also shielded. I have a fight worth 31 pts that I should win queued up...I guess I will wait til less than a minute and start it is my best guess.

Winning after an event over does not count for that event for PvP or PvE, though for PvE you'll still get points toward your overall placement if you won something in a sub bracket after it ends, but it won't count toward that sub bracket.

I wish I would have known that sooner. I probably finished in 11th if that is the case. Oh well...at least I got good points for the Alliance.

I spend around 600 HP on the shields in this tourney. Last 12hrs was buying 3hrs shield, playing 1-2matches, launching 3hrs shield.

Its okay all, I finished 11th I'm sure which gave me top 25 rewards, missed out on a blue cover. Wish I would have known and unshielded a couple of minutes earlier...but I can't get too down cuz who knows what the others in my bracket might have done and I got to add 753 to our alliance score and got the good rewards there too so I have some levels on Steve Rodgers who I am sure will be used alot in events in the near future. The future looks bright!
