I finished only 584 in the Shield bro event. I was at a barbeque and got back with under an hour to grind it out. It looked like the alliance was 7th last I remember which is good for top 50 reward of course. Once again I ended teetering right around #10 so I got my fingers crossed.

YES!!! I got the top 10 rewards even with being distracted from the event. Vindication for coming up short the last time...That makes 4 greens for my GSBW.

Good job everyone! Another top10 for our Alliance (or possibly top5?). I hope most of You were able to secure top10 to get those GSBW covers much needed in current tourney

As for Unstable, I just grinded each mission once on full RB, which puts me on #26 with 1.5k pts less than a leader of my bracket.

We're currently #2 in Unstable, so there's another chance for some sweet rewards!

In GSBW tourney there's Emeryt's much wanted Psylocke and blue IW, so I'm definitely going for the win.

What team do You plan to use with GSBW? I'll try with Hood 102 and maxed Punisher. GSBW is lvl45 and I'd rather put ISO into Hood than her.

Got t5 shielding past 800 at -1.5h, 2x38 pts reflected.
In iso fell from #2 to #60 by now, probably will be around #200 when start last prepare. Extremely stupid event again.

As I said earlier I'm leaving for a week this time tomorrow, probably will enter the gsbw tournament, push to some points and leave it there with some defense-minded team, as we don't have over-24h shields.

Just finished iso 8 grinding and sitting in 1st with 46.6k also see we are 1st in alliance with 3k and 4k leads over 2nd and 3rd.

Please note that I was in 150th pre grind. Nothing is safe and watch your time

I played the cap tournament pretty casually since I didn't need the covers and the alliance rank was secure. That being said, I started a push last night and met no opposition. Ended up using a three-hour shield and made top 5. A good return on investment for the rewards.

Pushed to first (oops, now second) in unstable with 46.8k. Tonight is going to be crazy, I think. I expect that anyone who can't play the last few hours is going to lose out, the rubberbanding is just too intense.

Lastly, if anyone is having any trouble with the Daken/Bullseye fight or the muscle fights, bring along Loki if you have some covers in trickery. OBW covers his colors and gets to 11 black pretty quick. Turning those insane Muscle strike tiles into protect tiles makes you essentially invincible.

I finally did not get screwed by a midnight finish. I won my bracket in the PvP. I shielded at 814 pts and no one caught me. not doing as well in the PvE. I'm not sure what happened, but i'm #200. I think i got messed up friday when I didn't get the reset I was expecting and the i ended up getting sick and not playing until saturday. Hopefully I can make up some ground today.

You'll make up the points in no time. I was around #250 this morning, having not grinded (ground?) any of the new nodes. A few matches on each of the high and mid value nodes got me back to first pretty quickly.

My Daken/Bullseye node is around lvl150 and I'm doing fine using Hulk/ Patch/ OBW. Hulk takes dmg and creates cascades, Patch launches Rage (535 build), then the cascades kill opponents or OBW deals 2x dmg with purple or blue.

230s pretty much on everything except the Cap nodes for me. Still doable with Patch/OBW/C.Mags, but a bad board or a bad cascade is no longer just a nuisance but potentially a loss.

Man, I got stuck in a super hard bracket with my Cap America event, I placed somewhere in the top 50, I tried for a to 10 but 10 was sitting at 834 and I didn't have the time to go for it. Has anyone else noticed a slight shift in these events. Before I could do nothing, then come flying in the last 2-3 hours and place top 10. Now I have been noticing people ramping up to around 500 the first day, shielding, then around 12 hours left, they make another push and sit around 850-900 and usually lock in after that. I'm wondering if that is becoming the more effective tactic, for one, if all the top players are shielded and they are worth the most points, it's going to be harder to move up, second when you are sitting at top you can always unshield get 2-3 wins and reshield again protecting your lead, I'm wondering if I"m going to have to start trying this, however it will have to probably wait till after this BWGS event, I have her at 3/3/5 but lvl 50, and I'm not sure my roster is strong enough yet. I need some Psylocke's, but not sure if I'll be able to do it.

Unlikely, IMO these remain for the last reset.

I'm done with the event until the last few hour push... currently leading by 1k, nodes shall reset just in time for play.

I'm just hoping for top 50. I should get it easy as long as I stay on top it. I'm trying to keep the hard nodes down in points, because towards late night when health packs are running low those are gonna be the pain in the butts, so I'm attackng them now as I will have more resources for later.

Little nervous for the event finish. Doing a double date tonight so Im not sure how much play time Ill get in. The funny thing, the other couple is actually my only RL buddy who plays so we might sneak away to the "bar"......for some play time as the end approaches. I should be safe in the top 50 with a few plays. Only reason I have to play more is to keep the scAvengers in the top 2!
