ok from the patch notes it says:

    Alliances
    - The timer for rejoining an Alliance after being kicked was changed from 168 hours to 1 hour

So if its past one hour, there is something else going on. Can you put in a support ticket and see if they can rectify it on their end?
  • Well i play smart and spending quite a bit to catch seems natural. I keep the iso and hps on standby to push up chars as i deem fit.

Lazythor would not have been leveled if it was the first in the sim rounds. My 1st round was low level enemies. Round 3 and 4 were all 228 and higher. My psylocke would have excelled there since i max her at 141. So had to pump iso into lazy thor to make him tough. Same goes for BP.

Some tournaments i go for just 100 to 300 since do not think char is worth to pump yet. Good example is the unholy outlaw. Tournaments with boosted char give opponents an easier time against me. A 141 char vs 60 char is easier to beat than a 228 vs 141 since in the first case i would not fear a retialiation. That's how i won the defender tournament. The 2nd case the enemy would likely retialiate since 141 is quite tough and gives out decent damage.
  • Well, the developers can see the amount of cash being spent by me during the sale.... so hopefully common reason takes place and i get everything restored. Now sitting on a hulk 5/3/0 for so long.
  • It SEEMS like Devs should have the tools to automatically discern if someone is cheating or not. Puzzling that so much of it has to be done via reporting, and even more puzzling if you actually got sandboxed as a legitimate player.
  • Good news.... got my black hulk cover..

Bad news... still trying to get back into alliance..

Yea I don't see you in the list either to approve you. Once you are in the list, I can invite you back. You might want to put in a ticket though.
  • well... still waiting.. submitted 2-3 tickets... 1 hour seems like a long time ......
  • Hopefully you're situation gets rectified soon NoMistake.

I finished the Hulk event top 5, 600+ points, I had a lot of ground to cover after tanking early.

Next patch will give alliance members the ability to see our points which will be beneficial IMO and hopefully encourage each other pick up the slack icon_e_wink.gif

So I'm glad that you got your Hulk cover from them. As far as why you cannot rejoin, I don't know. You might try sending a message to IceIX on why you can't even request to join. Did you reboot your phone? Try that and try to request membership again.
  • ok.let me see if iceIX can help
  • Well..so far no response from IceIX nor developers for this case...

well.. got a couple of questions...

1)LordWIll, how much HP to set up an alliance with 20 person?

2)I'll wait a week .. guess no 3rd cover for Human Torch nor LazyCap ...for the 2 tournaments...i'll try to get in everyday...see how it goes...

I'm seriously comtemplating making a new alliance... make up 20 slots... get u guys all in.. then handover leadership to LordWill....something along the lines like tat....

    Joseph
  • One thing alliances brought to my attention is that this game is so much bigger and popular than I thought.

Weird that they could fix your Hulk why couldn't they fix your alliance enrollment too? Interesting that they sandbox someone who paid a person's salary practically by himself. Makes one doubt how they organise their data.
And I totally din't realise the one who had 1.4mil ISO was in my alliance. Now I'm more in awe!
  • Here's the reply

    Hello Joseph!
We are glad that we could help you with your other issue!
Unfortunately after being kicked from an alliance, there's a 7-day cooldown before you can join it again. While after leaving an alliance, there's a 15 minute cooldown before you can join that specific alliance again. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
If you have any other questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact us again.
    Best Regards,

O well.. sux to lose out on Human Torch cover in alliance... (don't really care for the LazyCap... since i got the 1st cover in last tournament)

guys.. btw. how to put up a picture? I'm trying to load in my top roster along with the ISO figure & HP figures....?

Darn... thought it was 1 hour later can join back?

Well.. there is a backup plan....Find an alliance in the number 245 to 255... i join in last 10 mins before tournament is over (The human torch cover) .... get the cover... then get out....then join back into Retribution... Whichever alliance i joined in for tat 10 mins.. will jump to top 250 alliance.. they get cover.. I get cover.. everybody wins...

    - S.H.I.E.L.D. has improved their Alliance member tracking technology and now allows members to view the individual Event scores within an Alliance.

this will help I guess... do not want to lose the fun, however people should not just want to be carried - everyone should be contributing at least a bit (and ~400-500 points is not that unreasonable I guess)...
Of course people should be free to take some off time - though they should let others know here on the forums or through the new alliance chat - that way others would know they have to push that bit more etc.

Man, I've missed a ton since my last check-in!

    1) NoMistake - It's weird that D3 is treating it like you got "booted" when it seems to be that isn't what happened. I hope they can fix the issues sooner than 7 days for you so you can get some 'RETRIBUTION'! That really sucks! Glad you got your Black Hulk cover though

    2) The new tools will allow LordWill to boot inactive folks to further improve our roster. It sounds like there were at least 5 people that did the last PvP hard. If that's true, we had to have had at least 5 who didn't do it at all! I know 1 is out on a cruise, but for the others that may no longer be playing the game it will be nice to get some added support!

    3) The chat will be a great addition. I'm looking forward to see how this works. If it's a single chatroom space or if it's more like a PM.

For the last few PvP's I have been taking myself to whatever I can get to with three hours remaining and then toss a shield down. It has varied from a low of 505 when I was trying to balance Simulator sub-missions, LR's, and a PvP to a high of 740 when there was nothing to distract me. I pretty much join a later bracket and move up in 200-300 point jumps without shielding. I find when I clear my retaliations I am often almost a hundred points over what I shielded at. For Fearless Defenders I did see we were close to 50th and I broke shield right at the end to add another 50 points. Currently in TBTI I just got into a bracket and am sitting at my first resting spot of >200. Should push two or three more times today to get up to 600 or so and set up the final day. I should end up 600-700 and again I'll check in towards the end to see if we are close to one of the reward lines and break shield to see if I can help if we need it.

I was #1 with just over 18K in the Torch PvE at the mission changeover and have my system down there so feeling pretty confident on max points from that one.

The whole situation with No Mistake stinks. Someone could look at my roster and accuse me of cheating and if the extent of their investigation is just to sandbox anyone without looking to see if it was possible then that's just wrong. In this case they seem to admit they made a mistake so I'm not sure why they can't re-instate him back into the alliance without him having to wait seven days.

Yea that really sucks Joseph. I have made it pretty clear to people that I don't kick people out (unless they are for sure totally inactive). With the new tools it will be easier to see if people are truly inactive or just taking a break or vacationing or whatever because we'll be able to communicate in game. I think there are a few in the alliance that don't use the forums very much if at all.

Again with the new tools I really don't want us to witch hunt. We'll be able to see whats going on with people AND able to communicate with people to see whats going on with them if they are not participating. I think based on everyone's roster and activity, what you do personally to help yourself in the game will help the alliance. But I'm not going to be like, hey you only pulled in X amount of points, do better next time or your going to be replaced!

Coming from a semi-hardcore guild in World of Warcraft where raiding was mandatory, and raiding consisted of 5-6 hours, sometimes more, it just was too much pressure and felt like work.

I think once the new tools go in and everyone can see everything, I'm sure it will solve any issues by itself because people will naturally want to do good for themselves as well as the team. I think people should just police themselves. I already have 2 kids icon_e_wink.gif

So far it hasn't been an issue and hopefully it won't in the future. I think if there are any slackers, the new tools will prod them to do better, we won't have to because they will see what we see.

So of course we don't want floaters and people who don't do anything because obviously that wouldn't be fair to everyone else. We will cross that bridge if we have to.
  • Ok. I think i am in. Now pending mode. So just need for u to accept.

I forget how bad X-Force Wolvie is until I try to use him. Just a bunch of dead weight that node might as well be dead to me. It's funny when I have to take him up against Patch and Patch shreds him to bits which is all he is good for.
  • I wonder what the design choice was in making him so bad. Were they afraid if they made him too strong, it would encourage whales/hackers to gain such an advantage over regular players that it would disprupt the game?

It's just amazing to me that the same people who designed/playtested early Ragnorak / CMags/ Spiderman etc. would also design Xforce Wolvy. Maybe they just ran out of time and said "screw it, we have months to fix him later".
