I agree with Walala84 completely. As I was leveling everything up the 3*'s don't start to get better than the max 2*'s until you pass lvl100. I took every new 3* I got to lvl 100-110 and once they were all there then I started bringing them up to 141. You should be working towards a flexible roster of 3*'s which can allow you to take on anything the game throws at you. six or seven lvl >100 3*'s is way better than 3 maxed lvl 141 3*'s.

I have been having a day so far. My team has been wiped out seven times across all events so far today. LR, PvP, and PvE. I don't think I've lost seven times total in the last week. All of these boards have one match I can make which leaves something so bad even the AI can demolish me with it. I would have paid 1,000 ISO for a shuffle button during those matches. If they ever implements something like that I'd be all over it.

For who to level I use a greedy algorithm. Who is buffed now or in announced events. For every event except the one star ones I tend to dump Iso into whoever is featured. Reasoning is that when I use Iso on a buffed character I am getting more bang for my buck. This strategy also produces generally well rounded rosters because of how they like to rotate buffed characters. Punisher hit 141 from his prolonged buffs a little while back. IM40, Magneto, Dr Doom, Ares, Thor**, and Wolverine all hit 100 or 85 following this strategy. Hood has hit 112 thanks to this recent event and will likely hit higher thanks to the just announced Hood tournament coming up. It makes the decision on who to level a bit easier, creates a relatively diverse roster, and gets maximum bang for your iso buck.

Just make sure you save up the last day or two of Iso from an event so you have a nice store to pour into whoever is buffed in the next event.

Yea, I seem to have this happen to me once a week now. It's like a comedy of errors, where one bad decision (or bad luck) begets another.
  • think i wiped out 7 times on the node with jugg, thor and moonstone alone. good thing just clearing the 3 BP nodes are enough to keep you competitive.

That usually happens to me when a new event starts and they force a buffed hero I don't use so much and I have to readjust to using the new team composition. So, it's usually my own fault icon_e_biggrin.gif

But, when the AI gets a continuous cascade that just keeps going on and on and on, that just scares me and I'm usually yelling "OMG STOP! CHILL THE F OUT!" the whole time the cascade is going icon_lol.gif

The IM35 node is the one that's bending me over!

This is the 2nd sub that has enemy levels that are simply out of my reach - I can throw some deaths, use 5 healthpacks and am out ;/

Got to 805 in Thor tournament and shielded for the rest of it... going to spend healthpacks on the stupid sim...

I know how it goes all too well. This time around with these subs, I'm not doing too bad. I need to step up my game a little and close the gap for the main bracket.

I have been using my health pack more now and have stopped hording them. I figure if I need them that bad on a final push I could always break down and buy a 5 pack. but so far 5 seems to be doing ok with how I am playing.

Also, Thanks for all the advice on the leveling. I am going to get my 3*'s to 100. I put some iso into the hood and its been paying off.

I also put another 10 levels into Thor so he is at 110. Man he is a beast boosted. So I running OBW, Thor, and The Hood (Level 80) and I have gotten attacked like 5 times and every single one of them I have won icon_e_smile.gif I feel drunk with power. icon_e_biggrin.gif My MMR is low since I have tanked all last week. It climbed up a bit when I won the Loki LR. So I am at the mid to low high end now. It's creeping up and I think another 10-15 matches will put me back to the high MMR. We'll see though.

I agree its so much better to have a flexible roster. I think I am doing better in this Simulator event than the last time they had it.

I also made a post in the suggestions to help better the game. Feel free to comment and add your own stuff. I figure if we at least voice it, we've done our part.
  • Hey gang, I haven't been on forum for a while, looks like we are doing well in PvE. Noticed that me and walala are in the same main bracket.

Yea, noticed you there as well. Looks like we're on our way to a top 10 finish at least. I notice the points climb has slowed down a little too, maybe people don't have BP?

Looks like new characters on the horizon. The Human Torch (Probably the 4*) and Gold Daken!

And a new event coming too!

    Looking forward to it

So in the Thor event, me and this guy Sonpor keep going back and forth for the #1 spot. He gets ahead and I leapfrog him then he does the same to me.

So I'm at 917 points. probably spent 500 HP on shields so not too bad. I'm just thinking that I should just keep going to get that darn 1st place prize. Not like I am gonna use it right away but I feel its like principle now. Granted, I need the patch covers so this will be a nice one for me. Currently my Patch is stuck at level 102 because of covers. I knew they would have him as a reward sooner or later, I'm so glad I waited and didn't dump HP into him. I haven't gone bonkers over him because I don't have my Loki built up enough which he would go nicely with. I usually run him with Spidey.

Anyway, I'm gonna go play leapfrog with this guy again. Maybe I can get to the 1000 point mark and he will give up. I running into heavy hitters now though so I don't want to tempt fate too much.
  • Finished well in the last set of subs. Was top 10 in the hard one. With all events finishing together, it's hard to place well in both.

Edit: Reward just came in. Got like 7k ISO to level up L.thor for last subs. And final cover for patch. Good job everyone.
Edit edit: make that 9k ISO
  • Nice boost of loot there.

I just realized tonight that this PvE will end on Monday morning. That stinks.
  • Here we are in the final push and we are in the top 10. We are doing great. Just hit 200k and trying for the 8k ISO at 250k.

How is everyone else doing? Lets take this home gentlemen.
  • I'm laying back and not joining until late Sunday. Less is often more in this event.
  • Makin the push for the 8k ISO as well. About 30k away from it now. Should get there before the end of this event.

Sitting at 241K with two refreshes left pretty comfortably in first in my main bracket with 24 hours to go (18,000 point lead over second). Should easily nab the 250K progression but I think 300K is out of reach. I'll see where I am after tonight's runthrough.

very casually playing Unholy Outlaw but I expect I'll post my usual 500-600 towards our alliance total.

Good luck to everyone as we enter the home stretch.
