We should at least try to make it to the top 100 so that we can all get that blue cap cover. It'll prove useful for everyone.

Generally speaking, I think we should, as an alliance, always be making the grade to get the cover, usually meaning top 100. I'm pretty sure we haven't missed one yet.

It always looks a little sketchy half-way through an event because we have a lot of late-starters in our alliance

That being said, let's make sure we hit top 100 for the normal Venom bracket and the Hot Shot tournament! We are in good shape for the hard Venom bracket (currently #12 which a bunch of us, including myself, have not started yet)

Also, I am just playing casually this weekend. I am adding points to our alliance score and doing what I can.

The whole scaling things really gets under my skin and I've made some posts about it in the events. I would rather voice my concerns about it than say nothing and have it stay. Who knows, they may just take a hint and change it or make it somewhat more meaningful but in its current state, its terrible. Personally I think they should have some polling going on to get some feedback on these seemingly half baked attempts to "Challenge" us. It's because I care about that game that makes me passionate about this.

So just trying to play casually and not too much to make my scaling go crazy and letting rubberbanding do some work.

I know that it's probably only me or maybe also Ophidiann (who hasn't joined either btw) who needs the black hulk but damn... a lot of people are not even over 300 and that's pretty easish :>

R51 will bring more rewards for playing every PvP so might as well get used to it now

I see SoloL27 has played a game for the Hulk tourney, so should be fine there as well.

Ophidiann, haven't heard anything but he's used the cap covers from the alliance reward from heroic venom, so he's definitely active.

I think we're OK for now, would be good if there was some communication but I understand that life comes first.

I appreciate the black hulk totally. Think I am the only one without a solid 3* team in the alliance
Lacking ISO to level up my toons at the rate we are getting covers. Hopefully capt gets fully covered after venom dust settles so I have another character to worry about levelling up, the more the merrier!

My best 3* is LT at 128 and BP at 97...
have cover capped Psylocke, LazyCap, Hood and almost Punisher but like no ISO to level them up

Morgh you are well on your way, LT and BP are two of the strongest 3*s, so you are in great shape.

Numez you've been scoring decent points so even though your roster isn't quite there yet you've been contributing nicely.

Part of the issue being in a successful alliance is our cover flow has increased significantly, and at a much faster rate than ISO flow. That's a good problem to have

Any member of a top alliance will have a fully covered cap by tomorrow, but few of us would have the hundreds of thousands of ISO handy to level to 141...that's not to mention all the other covers coming in and toons to level. Most of us are falling behind in leveling. I know I am.

As far as AFKs....I understand we all have RL responsibilities so missing a tournament here or there is entirely forgivable. And as long as we aren't missing any cover rewards I think it's not a big deal. However, I also feel being in an alliance means being part of a team, helping each other succeed, and not letting your teammates down.

Scoring zero points in a tournament isn't a big deal, but if someone scores a few zeroes in a row, that obviously means they are afk, in which case....are they on vacation or have they stopped playing? If you are going to score zero pts, I thinking its important to communicate to us. A quick note in chat or on the forums. That way the rest of us knows we need to pick up the slack since we won't have to wonder it you are going to contribute for that particular event.

Also should mention that new alliance ISO rewards are coming in R51 patch, which IceIX was hinting that alliance activity correlates to larger ISO rewards.

So the more we log in and play, the more ISO we will all get.

I am planning on starting on the PVP event tonight or tomorrow.

As far as people not participating an event. We have gotten every alliance reward (cover) since they came out with alliances. I don't see it as an issue right now. Some communication would be nice for those aren't planning on doing an event but there hasn't been many events where everyone hasn't contributed. I'm not going to stress over it. If it becomes an issue then we'll deal with it.

The last thing I want to do is be a dictator simply because a few people aren't participating in an event and tell them play or else. We have been going strong since the start and we've been fine. Unless we are gunning for first place, it really doesn't matter if we come in 2nd or 49th.

We are a team and I am hoping people participate because they want to, not because they have to. Everyone in our alliance has been doing great. I don't see that changing.

You are completely right in what you are saying and I am sure everyone gets your point, but the thing is is that we are a team and we are in this together. When people are inactive and decide to not join a tournament, such as the last three where three people didn't participate, they're denying every other alliance member the reward that they worked so hard at getting.

What I believe in is that every member should participate, even if it is just enough to get us within that 100 range (which is easy to do with 20 people) so that everyone can get a 3* cover for the alliance rewards that we desperately need to get better as a whole, even if they already have that certain cover maxed, because not everyone does. Not participating and leaching off of your team to claim the rewards the same day and without explanation is not cool either, as we have seen in the last Cap tournament where every member had to put in extra time and points to cover 3 inactives that almost cost us a really valuable 3* cover, Hulk's black.

I am okay if a member decides to take a tournament off if they give us a heads up, but not from three members who didn't let us know beforehand. You don't have to be a dictator at all to get good results, just a good alliance leader to get everyone riled up for upcoming tournaments. Lets avoid things that will cause us to change due to a bad event and lets instead look towards to future to avoid these bad outcomes, we have to act before they happen. I would recommend keeping a list of people who are not participating in events at all who also don't explain themselves as to why they were inactive, just to leech another tournament. Thoughts?

There's no need for name calling. I wasn't trying to leech anything from the teams efforts and I'm sure the other two weren't either. I honestly didn't expect to get rewards when I didn't participate. I did though so I learned something. This is why I told the team in the chat that I would no longer be missing anymore PvP events. The PvE I play no matter what so that's not an issue. I didn't like getting the rewards I didn't earn which is why I didn't use the black hulk cover on either of my two hulks or sell it for iso. Can't do anything about the iso I received or the HP so I'll put those to use in the hulk event. I know it's a team and I bet the rest do too. If it just so happens that I can't play again I'll let everyone know so this doesn't happen again or turn into an issue.

Sorry, I must have not seen your message on the chat log, but at least you took responsibility for your actions and gave an explanation, which is all what was needed, but I can't speak for the other two. By the way, I used the words "leechers" as a description to what the other players did, which I explained myself on why I used that word in my other post.

No worries just thought it would be a funny way to start off. I like our alliance. Getting our issues out and moving forward as a team is the best thing for our alliance to keep us strong and moving forward in a positive direction and to see where everyone stands so we can keep the rewards coming in in a smooth hassle free manner.

It's not a big deal if someone wants to take some time off or simply cannot play at all - lack of communication is the issue here

Since Doombot already stepped up and SoloL27 already got 176 point in Hulk I presume that only Ophidiann is inactive for some reason...

And since missing one person most probably will not mean us missing the Green Human Torch, I do not think much of it... I would be upset though if it would mean the difference between 99 and 101...

Unless they change the structure of rewards, the difference between 2 and 100 is not that great (50 HP) and as such is nothing to fret about
However difference between 100 and 101 is humongous - it's the fact of getting another 3* cover or not...

EDIT: and it is extremly strange that Ophidiann is not active, since the bonus ISO popup said he DID play yesterday... and I haven't seen him say a word yet here or using the ingame chat... has anyone?

I would like people to let us know when they want to take an event off because it can change the way the rest of the team approaches it. Beyond that we've showed even when we are 17 we can still get across the finish line.

As for Ophidiann I know the popup gave us credit for him/her playing but they scored 0 points in both Heroic Venom and Cap PvP which means unless they are farming in SHIELD training or the prologue that can't be right.
