    Look at it this way: your "reward" for grinding your **** off for 9 days is having to spend more HP on cover space for one cover of a character ( that you already have). A character you only need so you have a better chance at winning another character (that will cost more HP for cover space) that you won't be able to use right away.

    Well, I have to say that I think this 3* Thor is going to be a beast, he will probably have 8000 hp, do around 4000/2000 damage with green and 2000 with yellow when maxed, so I am not very fond of these gold characters, but in this case I am going to use this new Thor A LOT once I get all his covers (And probably I will spend some HPs in him).

    P.S. - I'm going for the three covers. I love my 2* Thor, and Th'Oreal is simply more of the same to love... if I can get enough covers in him.

    Yep, he's gonna be reeeeeeaally good at max levels. BP/3*Thor/Doom or BP/3*Thor/Spidey will let you unleash some serious Skittles ("Taste the Rainbow") on offense. Now, time to stockpile ISO, because if X-Force turns out to be a meaningful buff I can wait on pushing for HP for Thor covers and slot him in the same place. Either way, we'll need Thor as a passcard for nodes in the next PvE, so once more unto the breach!

    I agree hes going to be great, thats why I hope they gill give him out in 1-2 other events before the next PvE..

    I really hate it when I cant take a break from a game from time to time. .. it burns u out v.v

    I am sooo not looking forward to the first time I run face first into a Rage of the Panther and Call of the Storm combo. Sure the second one will be overkill but the two of them together with their huge HP pool and ability aoe the **** out of your team is just going to be insane to deal with.

    As I said in another thread, a team of BP, Hulk and 3*Thor is going to take a world to kill (7300+9800+8000=25000hp !!!!!!) and is very easy to use in defense. I think we are going to see a lot this combination....

    As both are quite costy you'll have enough time to prepare and prevent them happening really. The AI can't use any sophisticated feeder ability -- storm works just for blind shooting of oasis and thor yellow.

    In corner case you can still retreat before the kitty hits the fan for just 33% of health instead of 133% icon_e_smile.gif

    Ya most of the encounters are bad in the hard bracket for me. Did the BP one moderately boosted. Probably should have joined this one earlier... The easy one is still fine, mostly yellows.

    Passed 200k around 100th.

    Yup, I was OK till now, but these latest two subs are killing me. Just fell to several bad cascades, 5 health packs gone just like that. Time off!

    I had the same thing happen! Same mission, my whole team was at max HP, running Punisher (lvl 30), Thor (70), and OBW (45), they did a decent cascade that ended up leading Rag into an infinite loop of thunderclap and godlike power. It was actually taking so long that I went tot he kitchen to grab a drink, came back and it was still running his turn! I ended up being completly downed - all three from max HP to downed, in a single turn of the AI.

    Seems a little ridiculous :/

    The Ragnarok - Sniper team up is stupid. Who designs this ****? You're just stuck in an endless Godlike Power cascade loop. Goons that feed villain powers are ridiculous.

    I am so glad it wasn't just me being a complete idiot. And yeah, it was the Rags-2xSniper team-up. I thought it was the other one because I never cleared the Rags-Sniper one. So many miniature felines were created last night.

    Now that this event is nearly over, thank god, I'm sorry but the last 3 days have bored me to tears, so much I even went back to playing Skyrim lol but seriously what's the point situation looking like now for everyone? I have been sitting on 193,000 despite only doing 3 matches for the past 2 days. I just can't motivate myself to do anymore. I am still in the top 300 and I can't see me falling out of the top 1000 at this stage. Did someone say the cut if point is like 130,000 now?

    P.s. No more 10 day events for another 10 days

    I'm at #92 with 204K. I'm just gonna do maybe 6-7 matches total from the easier, high-point-value nodes just before the end-of-sub deadline to get some tokens and maybe HP. I'm not starting the PvP until tomorrow, so I might as well not let my health-pack regen go to waste.

    EDIT: I wish there were even more progression rewards. Another Punisher cover (or Hulk) at 200K or 225K, for example.

    Yeah Cleo good point, i think thats why i dont wanna go further, no more rewards. and i cant do another level 180 match and get 20 iso for my troubles. Iphones break that way.

    The lack of further progression rewards does tend to sap enthusiasm. What's crazy is that this event may end with the leader nearly double the highest progression reward.
