I didn't. It was completely fair thing -- fixed levels, you could make a go or leave it. (I recall 240 actually in last.) And leaving it did not prevent you finishing in the top tear main even either.
Rags is interesting, right after the nerf he seemed pretty tamed, I even stopped to target him first, now I got more than wipes from him on the much better team.0 -
I'm now sitting at just over 140K ISO banked (probably like 60-70K from Hulk or maybe I misremember how much I had) but it's nice. Not sure who to spend it on yet if at all.0

I might have to give up on 3 Thor covers. I'm at about 500th place for now but since there are no more progression rewards to be had after 160k points I'm not super stoked about grinding any more. Also the current sub-events end at 3 am for me so competing for top rewards in them would be insane. I think I'll just do all missions once and maybe high value ones multiple times for now on. Hopefully that is enough for 2 Thor covers.0

Just watch the top prize in predator & prey be 3* Thor.0

That seems very likely to me, as the prize for the PvP that ended at the same time as Brotherhood had BP rewards. Looks like the new trend is to give out a max of 2/2/2 for a new cover and move on. Encourages people to drop HP to max (like I did with my earned HP for BP), or to wait for later when those prizes rotate back in.0 -

What's funny about this event, is that I've actually had fewer 230 battles than the first two iterations of The Hulk. If that's true for me, then it's probably true for 99.9% of players, as well. The overall average of levels in battle is higher, but it just got rid of a bunch of those less than lvl 50 battles that you could win blindfolded.
Yep that's my recollection as well. But if I recall correctly, weren't the top rewards for the first 300 spots? Or was it also the first 200 like it is now?
Top reward was 1-300, but I think the 3 Hulk covers go up to 1500.0 -

It's so cheap they don't announce stuff ahead. I left the last interesting progression and would put this event on back burner if sure to have chance for the new covers. Last event worked that way and I'm more than content with 5 BP covers, and even a 1/1/1 thor would work fine for me combined from two.0 -
I'm going to be extremely disappointed with this event if it ends and my hulk is sitting at 5/0/1 like it was when this started. I've gone zero for I'm not sure how many tokens at this point trying to pull Hulk but, it's gotta be near 20 after finishing top 4 in at least 1 sub event since this started. First we get 3* Thor as the reward (super unhappy with this one), the event started giving out event tokens and they swapped it mid stream, then we get the recruit Hulk node and instead of it giving you the chance of Green, Red or Black like it did when it was bugged at the beginning it gave out another green that I had to sell. All of this occurred after they made an announcement that indicated we'd be seeing a certain prize structure was going to be put in place. Zero communication from the devs when things got changed. I wouldn't be so frustrated if they would come out and explain why they've decided to dump a bunch of Heroic Tokens on us. Sorry for the venting... Maybe they could have given us some different covers from progression rewards, like oh i don't know The Hulk for instance?0

Perhaps fourth time will be the charm.
I have been pulling scads of useless (to me) black Hulk covers from standard tokens lately. Save a bunch of tokens up from the subs and LRs and open them all at once when the event ends.0 -

I wish I had that problem. I had saved up 68 standard tokens that I pulled all at once a few days ago. Didn't see 1 3* cover out of all that. I rolled the 5 Heroics I had saved at the same time. Nothing.... lol0 -
Three and a half days left in this event. The first Hulk event didn't seem anywhere near this tedious, but maybe its just me. During the first Hulk event I was pretty new to the game. But now, this thing seems to be dragging.0

The first two Hulk events were arguably the grindiest experiences ever in MPQ with the exception of the first PvE where IM40 was released (Red ISO?). I'm of 2 minds: I'd still definitely be down for a reduction to 7 or even 5 days for PvE events in general, but I really like the ISO/HP to be gained in these 1 day sub-events, so I'm okay with the duration as is too.0 -
In the old hulk we really had many nodes with low-level hammers one could complete in sleep. Is that some people claim "grinding"? IIRC those matches really took just 20-30 secs. Even with several repeats took less than a single match today, say the starter hammer-only. Where everyone sits on 8k health at least. I'm positive if we measure grinding in time rather than match count the current one is waaay more in -- and obviously way less rewarding and takes on the nerves too. No wonder I also feel sick and tired. While the original was pretty much joy to play and got me more stuff too.0

You keep it up and they will unleash a Heroic Dark Avengers chapter with only Bag-Man and DareDevil buffed. For science.0

The easy bracket was pretty much faceroll but the hard bracket in the original Hulk were quite a grind. It's definitely less grindy on the easy bracket but I think the hard bracket took longer, though some of it is balanced by the fact that you can't really grind pre nerf level 230 Ragnrok for long because it's just a matter of time before he kills 3 guys and then you've to give up.0 -

Add on top of this that you could just drop 200ISO for +3 to all AP boosts at the time and that may also account for that event feeling easier.0 -
anyone else getting "check internet connection" when launching game? Im on steam and everything else but mpq works fine.
edit: typical i wait an hour before posting and then when i try it decides to start working again.0 -

Also, the old rubberbanding means a lot of the time you have absolutely no chance at getting a top prize on the sub bracket so you might as well stop earlier. The boost+3 obviously help but pre nerf level 230 Ragnrok can still easily wipe out a triple boosted team in one round. I think people don't think of being dead as a 'grind' though, as in when Raganrok killed your whole team you technically have to wait an hour before you can resume, but in that case people just give up and don't consider that time a grind.0
