    IW is ok but I already 6 and 7 covers for each of them so hopefully they don't suck eventually. It'll take way to long to get 13 from scratch and level them when I'm already 1/2 way there with 2 of them.

    Ooh, the in-game announcements indicate anther week of villain Lightning Rounds. Now I do not know where to put my ISO.

    Also, Predator and Prey is coming back.

    So i just noticed (yep im slow) that the top 200 get Wolvie and the Thor covers. I just thought it was Wolvie for some reason. My question is, i have been in the Top 200 since the start but is it worth it to keep going and get him as well. i don't even have 1 other cover for him so its not like i can use him

    The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.

    Right now he's pretty poor, though there is the expectation that the devs will eventually rework him to be more playable. He was required to unlock one of the nodes in a recent event also.

    A bird in the hand is worth a bird in the hand 2 months from now. Who knows how hard they'll be to get down the road. Why not get started on building him now?

    Went with the troll team of Hood, mStorm and oBW against Moonstone, Bullseye and Venom lvls 182-183. (Usually take Daken instead of Hood to deal strike tile damage).
    So... slow... but so... much... AP... and full rainbow power!.. but so slow...
    Also got worried when Moonie got ready to fire Gravity Warp and I had no special tiles, but then I remembered I could use Hailstorm.
    This team against tanky characters, never again.

    At current rates the leaders will be around 240K or so at the end of the event I cannot see 160,000 being anywhere near safe for top 1000.

    So sitting at around 8k after doing a refresh. I wonder if it'll possible to make climb back up to a Thor bracket. People should really be feeling burnt out by now right?

    But its good that the leaders are pushing up their points as rubberbanding ensures more people are able to grab the progression rewards

    Ok, after my last pass I am comfartibly sitting in the 29 position with 175k points. I think I don't have secured the three thor covers yet, I suppose that with 200k you can say that the three covers are yours (maybe with 185-190).

    If I am not mistaken, the last day of the event there won't be any sub-event, so we have 4 one day sub-events left (I think). That will be around 46k points left (11+6+6)+(11+6+6) so I think I will finish the event with 220k points more or less, way above the last reward, with a mean of 24k points per day.

    Th board seem extremely dense. A few hours ago I did some play, went 2000->400 position doing just some real fat games. (crossed the 140k? 8000 ISO reward in the mddle).

    Is it just me or is the progression awards never on the mark. They are either unobtainable or everyone and their dog gets them. Over 3 days left and I just hit 160k. The leader is at 200k. In top 200 currently.

    On last run the points in first subs were essentially lower. I guess that wasn't really taken into account with the progression ladder. I recall in the first hulk event only a few hundred people got over the last reward and only by a few points. I was in top 300 and missed it by ~200 points.

    Also it seem my hopes that once people cross the last reward they give it a rest went out the window.

    One question, how could this guy be the 1st one with just a Storm at Lv 85 as his best Hero ?
    My roaster is far better but i can't manage all the battles even with BP @ 94 and 5 black cover (I can strike a whole team just by one attack. He is clearly cheated)

    The braindead scaling -- he probably fights lvl50 stuff while you 150 or 230 ones. Less time more reward. MPQ jr. just for you.

    Also IceIX just disclosed on the other thread that scaling is closely related to health loss. So lack of OBW and other things that makes you win without health loss means lesser enemies. And probably you can advance by sacrificing your roster before going to sleep. The very opposite of gaming if you ask me, but my view is irrelevant. icon_e_surprised.gif

    No, he's not clearly 'cheated'. Don't presume, until you have all the facts.

    There's no reason to believe he is cheating. Newbies get very easy enemies and breeze through them.
