    But rarity rating doesn't mean anything in terms of source material power level. It's literally just that - rarity. It has never been used or implied to reference a characters given strength or power.

    It's Punisher. No doubt. Rarity has nothing to with actual power. Surfer and Phoenix would wreck the other 5's if it did.

    some others can fill in the question marks. like I said I'm no expert, but those are the ones that I question any kind of alien/superpower/superhuman ability. I'm sure some of the ??? are wrong though.

    Rarity in MPQ is not tied to level unfortunately. They already said they are only going to release 4* and 5* heroes from now on. I'm still waiting for a Gambit, Rogue, Mysterio, and others. Plenty of them would be only 3* but, hey...

    Unless it's the ( ridiculous ) Franken Castle version of The Punisher.

    ( and yes, I have completely re-imagined 5* Spidey IN the symbiote suit )

    There was also an arc of the Punisher where he was resurrected by Heaven to kill demons, and given some powers

    Also, Mockingbird DID get powers in the past few years in the comics. It was right after Dark Reign and SIEGE ended. She was injured, and they gave her mixed cocktail of the Super Soldier Serum and the Infinity Formula to survive. It gave her increased strength and agility.

    One more point for mockingbird: she had a cover displayed in the mpq ad on the interview site. I'm hoping she's two or three stars, but I agree 5* would fit the existing pattern. 3* and giving Quake covers in champion mode would be great, despite dev communications that they're done with 3* characters for a while.
