Im doing ok in the sub (top 5) but Im lucky if I get top 50 in the main. Im only getting about 100 avg on my nodes. The enemies are about the same on avg (lvl 100). I would have been doing better if I had jumped into my sub earlier. I went to sleep in third for us, but that didnt last. Plus I'm having fun with Patch in the PVP so I have any health for him in the PVE.

I've been away but not grinding too hard. I'm 4th in my sub, but I'm 115 in main bracket. I entered at the worst possible time were I only managed two pre-nerf nodes so I was stuck in a bracket with the people that managed many more high-point nodes.

So I'm doing well enough I think but I'm never going to catch up to any leaders. If I actually wanted Daken I'd be furious at how this PvE was ruined. Luckily I hate Daken as both a playable character and villain. Never heard of him before I started playing MPQ. So I'm not letting myself stress over this event.

I was around 70th this morning in the main (I had pretty much worst-case scenario timing on the points nerf) and, given the sub is going to end with me not having played for nine hours, I suspect like 100th in it.

So, guys, a little heads up, when the season 1 event is over i'll stop playing MPQ.
I was in bed rest all weekend with a thing like strep throat but not exactly that, and with all the time in the world (and my wife working saturday and sunday) i thought i'd take that time to score some points for the alliance, get some iso, lvl up some characters, and discovered that i rather do any other thing than to play this game. Im bored
It was sudden, but i realized i wasnt having any fun other than the alliance chat, the forum or the last few minutes of an event waiting to see if we are a consistent top50 alliance. Which we are it seems.
I dont want to leave you hanging in season 1, i have a score to share with you all and i intend to score at least 800-900 in every pvp until the season finishes, so i'll be around for a few more days

My co-commander's job was to keep me sane - and he did well. Disappointed I was not able to return the favor.

Sorry to see you go, Fedlex, but I definitely understand. I was on the verge of making the same call a while back, so I know where you're coming from.

I actually just dropped ESO last week because I decided I was putting too much time into it. The main saving grace for this game is that it's mobile, for me, so I can sneak in games here and there without taking away too much time from time I should be spending with my wife

I'm assuming that they still have no solution from going from Steam to Phone?

Sorry to see you will be leaving us fedlex20. I hoping your just burned out and need to take a long break and I hope in the future you will find this game fun again and come back home to us ^^. Well fedlex20 I didnt realize you were playing on Steam. I don't blame you. I think Im lucky to be able to play on my phone. I play everywhere even while the shower is warming up Definately too much. But I'm still having fun and there's not a lot else for me to do in my spare time after a day at work and an evening fighting with my kids just to eat 3 damned chicken nuggets. Have you considered just saving up all the 1 * 2 * rewards for a week and sell off your roster and start over? That might be interesting? I've been thinking of selling off all but my favorite 6 characters.

Fedlex. I am sad to see you go, but fully understand where you are coming from. I don't know, if I were "attached" to a PC, if I could play this or any other game for that matter anymore.

I apoligize and was not insinuating anything in this thread earlier about kicking/removing/barring Purinxa.

The post was actually - me thinking I had seen Purinxa "removed" from our roster. Sorry for the confusion.

I often think that "I should finish that other game instead", but I like how I can watch a movie and play MPQ at the same time. I've been watching a lot of Fringe lately. I know I'm about 6 years behind the "hype" that it once had but I like when I can do marathon sessions of a show.

As for the burnout situation. Maybe we should skip top 100 in season 2? Maybe run a poll to see which are the most wanted Heroes by members and only aim for alliance top 100 in those events? These are just suggestions. Slow down for the next month and come back fighting in season 3. Not going to lie, I've been playing more for the alliance sake than my own at times. It's fun still but burnout can happen really fast.

A question to everyone: Which do you prefer, PvP or PvE?

I prefer PvP unless it's a brand new PvE with some story. I've been really tired of PvE since they started doing repeats.

I vastly prefer PVE. PVP has gotten increasingly unpleasant, and it's rare I get a usable cover out of it anymore. I actually prefer lightning rounds to PVP at this point.

Ben, its rare that I get a usable cover in any situation. True I have unlocked new characters but they are not doing anything for me sitting there with just a couple covers each. I have XWolv, IW, HT, LT, Steve, Psylocke, BP and none of them are useful for me because of the limited covers. Even in the events where they are buffed their abilities are nerfed becaused Im only at 1/5 for a color. I like the lightning round concept for farming ISO, but I have no chance to ever win one - much less the time to play more than one "round" a night.

None taken. I guess it would be safer to just work up second builds of a character.

We ranked 89 which is pretty durn good despite a mid-day end time for us. Still close (I think of them as a Purinxa-style finish cause he likes the thrill of the last moment rallying and jockeying), but we pushed to the top 100 again. Thanks everyone!
