1 5* champ. 56 4* champs. Never feeling the iso crunch anymore. Currently sitting on 10 max champ 3*s, waiting on the rumored system change.
Going back to opening Classics, hoping to slowly cover more 5*s without moving deeper into 5* land. Have covered Strange, 12 cover Gambit (a very nice 4/4/4) and 12 cover Phoenix (4/5/3)

I'm now on Day 525 (so about 2 months after my previous update), SHIELD Rank 115 (an increase of 10).

Juggernaut + 5 BWs with 5 blue for Alliance TUs. Extra roster slots filled up with random 1* covers.

All part of the champ farm, except Bag-Man, who is at 3/5/4 (was 3/5/2 before so I've acquired 2 more Bag-Man covers)

All champed. Six 3*s are levels 257+ and have dupes rostered.

40 champed (10 new champs since last update: Kingpin, Nightcrawler, Nico, PunMax, Nick Fury, Thing, IW, America, MEHulk, Teen Jean).
Devil Dino, Mr. F, Nova, Venom, War Machine, and X-23 at 13 covers.

Ant-Man, Kraven, Spider-Gwen, and Winter Soldier at 12 covers.

All rostered.

All rostered. One at 13 covers (Gambit).

I've switched from pulling Classic to Latest Legendary tokens. The goal is to cover each Latest 5* but not level or champ them as I don't want to jump into 5* land right now.

4* - 46 are champed. Moon Knight is level 260 and will be my next champ. Then I have Hobo Fist at 9 covers, C&D at 6, both soft capped.

3* - R&G and GSBW became my first two to hit 266, passing Storm due to vaulting. Thanos, Strange, and Hawkguy are my BH, and are now at 207, 206, and 176, respectively. All others are between 260 and 223.

Thanos (232) and Strange (233) have started passing non-token 3*, so now I change my BH to the lowest 3 3* every week. Star-Lord is my only unchamped 3*, Hawkeye is lowest champ at 194, and everyone else is 227-264.

Right now my plan is to:
- Wait for the new season 4* token switch.
- Make Shuri my bonus hero.
- Pull one more cover for my 5/5/2 Thor.
- Wait for the 5* token switch
- Pull one cover of the new 5* for PVE essentials
- Pull three Shuri covers and level her to 209 for Shield Training.
- Go into deep hoarding and forget Shield Trainings exist until Angel is gone (though mine is currently at 10 covers and I’ll probably inadvertantly max him chasing that last Thor, Shuri, and the new 5, lol).

- So I got Shuri’s Red in the vault, and if she’s the sim prize (please no more Red) I’d only need to pull ONE MORE for training. I currently have ~80 heroics so I could get a Shuri BH there. AVOIDING ANGEL!

- Jessica’s token store has two good characters in it that wouldn’t go to waste if I pulled them so I can get her there. AVOIDING ANGEL!

- I could set Thor as my bonus hero and try to nab my last one from Jessica’s store. AVOIDING ANGEL! But bonus 5s are too rare for that to be viable. So I will have to try and sidestep some Angel land mines to get that last Thor in Latests.

Seven seasons tracked, had only five champ 4* and not all champed 3* when I started posting in this thread. Ah, memories!

Looks like eight more seasons tracked there.

Last season: rushed to champ Thanos, opened hoard to get more levels on him - opened 3 Thanos and last 4 BP I needed, so forced to hoard again. Got to where I could champ BP late in season and opened 2nd part of hoard (fully) - pulled no BP and forced into two 4* champs, started hoarding 3rd time for final week of season.

3* changes: SL rostered, not champed. Three 266 (+2, Cage/Grocket), all three dupes started. Patch/BPKK/Mag/SG/BE/Blade/Cap/Rag/BW all 255+, all BH until I stop chasing LT.

4* changes C&D rostered. 37 champed (+2: Gwenpool, Mordo). 9 at 172 (+duck).

Vaulted 4* status: Unchamped Wasp about to join my six other ignored , vaulted 4*'s (PX/WM/GR/IW/Drax/MrF [/Duck]). Drew to champ BP - instead drew SEVEN Gwenpool and SEVEN Mordo - raced to champ both. Venom/Riri unchamped with 13 covers, IF/C&D don't have 13.

5* changes: No daily drop and haven't pulled a classic for three seasons, no changes there. Thanos 453 (+3), 3/5/45BP (+4, one was bonus hero), HE 1/3/2 (+6). No 5k iso [whoops, I mean no SL]

145/156 Roster spots (+9 used, prepping for more dupe 3*'s, added all the 1*'s again).
498cp/12LT - pulled at start of season after champing Thanos, started hoarding again near end of season when I pulled to 13 BP.

Day 1137 ; next daily drops - (third) War Machine, not champed and will be wasted, can't waste iso on vaulted characters.

Next season plan: Still hoarding so I don't waste BP if I pull any. Will hoard until SL goes into 5* tokens, then pull everything and hope to champ BP within two weeks.

After that I may move back to classics, depends on HE status. Also will work on last couple remaining non-champed non-vaulted 4*'s, Riri first.

5* Pulled latest until 13 covers for HE (+1), then hoarded until today, leaving HE at 255. Hoped to pull many 4*'s to use - but tokens suddenly changed, and had four wasted. SL 3/2/5 (+2), Ock 1/2/3 (+6), Spidey 1/1/0 (+2)
Have opened Classics with CP: Thanos +1 (468, possibly BH), BP + 1 (465), Strange +1 (454), SS +1 (452), 4/5/2 Cap +2, 2/5/1 Hulk +1. Had some HUGE dry streaks in here, very low pull season. Wish they'd fix that....

5* Latest: Got lucky on latest and pulled SL until 13 covers, but needed two swaps to do it (last one on his final day in tokens). No ISO to champ him. 1/2/0 Spidey (+1) 2/2/4 Ock (+2), and there they will stay - started hoarding the day after the increased 5* chances "mistake" on classics. Will pull latests the day before DD leaves to get one for PVE, or before if he's featured. Holding 21 latest since the day DD came in.
5* Classic: 470 Thanos/467 Panther/459 Phx/455 Strange/453 OML/452 SS/451 HE will not be improving during hoard days. Cap 5/5/2 BW 5/5/1 IM 5/3/2 (+1 daily drop) BSSM 5/1/3 Hulk 2/5/1 Goblin 1/5/1 Bolt 2/3/2. - only +1 total due to hoard starting early.

Next season: holding Torch, Daken, and Elecktra 3* covers. Re-champing going to get harder without Level SCL bonus iso coming in.

Last two mini-seasons:
3* 37x266 (+4), 31 dupe copies champed (+4), all newer 3*'s champed and on their way.
4*: All rostered, War Machine and Ghost Rider champed: Only MrF/Wasp/Drax max covered unchamped now. Lockjaw/Mockingbird/Rogue/Yondu all 172 not fully covered (haven't been pulling tokens). Captain Marvel BH removed for fan favorites: 369 (+6), Medusa got it (337), Dino back to third highest 4* (333)
5*: Started holding LT's when SL left: Gambit and DD not rostered. Weak Spidey, probably will pull for one DD and then open more seriously for Gambit + next two. Hoarded CP after classic-gate "mistake", but used it on fan favorite tokens, which were good for me:

Well, bummer to drain CP last season since apparently Gambit = God.

3* 38x266 (+1), 32 dupe copies champed (+1). Slowing down here with almost all originals max champed and nearly all dupes done.
4*: MrF/Drax both champed since level cap was increased and I had copies. Lockjaw champed. Rogue/Yondu at max 229, Mockingbird at max 209, NIghtcrawler at max 198. Only Duck and Wasp remain unchamped from older ones. Carol finished, BH moved to R&G (294)
5*: Pulled some tokens to get a DD for 5e. one-cover DD, +3 Gambit (2/0/1).

Next season: keep hoarding I guess. With three covers on Spidey and one on DD, probably makes the most sense to hoard for Gambit/Thor/3rd. Hoard ISO as well to get ready for those, currently at 950k.

....honestly, game is getting boring, and you can see it right here. Only 5*'s matter, and classic dilution kills any "progress" on getting them bigger. 4*'s matter only when basically maxed AND boosted, the drop rate on them is so slow that getting more than a couple that way is nearly impossible. "Hoard for next 5*" and "Play against boosted 5* that you don't have" gets REALLY old, REALLY fast.

As I said last time Gambit = God(mode) and so I based the season on that principle

3* 36x266 (-2; needed iso). 36 dupe copies champed (+4)...except I sold 3-5 (I forget) max champ copies so some of these aren't dupes anymore. Honestly the 3*'s are almost irrelevant if they are going to do half the PVP's as 4*'s, and the 3*/4* PVE essentials are the same difficulty....Maybe one more dupe that will need ISO next season, BH set only on 3* godmode Gambit (212) and have my 0/0/5 level 89 pile of sillyness already built.

4*: Everyone finished that could be possible. I started pulling to get Gambit asap and finished all of the ones in tokens, didn't want to waste the covers. + champ Rogue/Yondu/Mockingbird/Wasp/Nightcrawler. 3/4/5 (finally not purple) duck, 1/4/5 Hulk, 1/4/3 Nico are only three not champed. Carol hit max, haven't started 2nd copy. Moving BH around for LT's, in chase of godmode Gambit.

5*: Broke hoard from last time when Thor came in to try to get godmode Gambit, stopped after 13 (needed two different swaps) DD and many 4*'s to champ. Re-hoarded for a bit, then was convinced to sell 3*'s instead and did so. Easy to attack other Gambits, easy to float higher since non-gambits rarely attack you. No question at all about replacing 462 Phx with 453 Gambit. in PVP I replaced 469 Panther as soon as I hit 450 Gambit, no question.

The biggest roster question I have is do I run 476/469 Panthos + Gambit or 456 Strange/452 Bolt with Gambit to further increase his god-modeness. TO consider removing 476 with a 452 just to help Gambit out? No balance issues at all.

Continued the search for Gambit this season, so I could continue to compete in Gambit Puzzle Quest.

Today I got a Bagman, for champ level 110. So that's my update. Plans for my roster? It's my goal to have Bagman fully max-champed by the year 2028. I think I can do it with some dedicated PvP play between now and then.

Sold my first two fully champed 2*'s in the last two weeks or so, so that's why there's two that aren't champed right now. Focused mainly on my 3* collection, though I've picked up a couple of 4*s recently as well. I've done well enough in trying not to roster every single 4* that I pull, but there's a few that I've gotten multiple covers for, and I felt that was reason enough to roster them.

Planning to roster 3* Hawkeye in the next two weeks, and have both 3* Gamora and 3* Cyclops set as bonus heroes, as they're both sitting on 11 covers each. Not sure how much money I've spent on the game, enough that I probably have a fair few more roster slots than someone else on day 108 that hasn't spent any money. I drop $2 here and there, which is another reason I can justify having 13 4*s rostered, as roster slots are just a tiny bit more plentiful for me.

Rostered OML probably in my first 60 days, and have since stopped opening Legendary Tokens (for the most part) and have even briefly considered selling him. I don't plan on acquiring any more 5*s for quite some time, PvP is irritating enough as it is with just the one. I do have OML set as my 5* bonus hero however, as having a single cover OML with only his red ability is quite irritating. Hopefully whenever I open up my Legendary Tokens I'll get lucky and pull his yellow.

The general consensus for optimal CP usage is to keep it until you can do 250-300 LTs pull. However, if you don't find it enjoyable doing these, then you can continue with what you have been doing. What's important is having fun.

What's important is having fun.

I've been feeling that way too- the earlier you get your farm going the quicker you get those gains, and I should just bite the bullet and halt my 3* progress for a minute until I've got all of the 2* rostered. I'm not proud of the number of times I've sold 2* on impulse to pick up a new 3* or 4*. The majority of my CP thus far has actually gone to giving final covers to 3* that have extra covers on the vine that I didn't want to go to waste. That happened to me like four times in a row, and given that the first champ reward is an LT token, it seems like that's actually more efficient in a way, given that normally an LT is 25 CP. I'm also bad about opening LT's on impulse, but I'm starting to hoard now, because I hate letting 4* covers go to waste.

I will say though that probably half of my 4* have come from lucky pulls from event tokens or heroic/taco tokens. If i knew what was good for me I'd sell some of them to make room for the 2* that I still need, but like I said, some days I get bored and impulsively open tokens that I shouldn't lmao.

1. 2 4*s champed over the past month, champing Howard the Duck (thanks to his event) and Main Event Hulk to bring the percentage up to 81.5%
2. Of the 6 max covered 4*s in the previous update, Howard the Duck has left as mentioned, with Nico Minoru getting her last cover to maintain the number at 6. Meanwhile, Main Event Hulk got his last cover as expected and bashed his way to champ status immediately
3. 9th and 10th 3* max champed in Rocket & Groot and Thor, with a good number just 1 to 3 covers away
4. I rarely talk about my 5*s since I don't use them, but it's nice noting I've gotten quite a good number over the past month, notably my 3 black covers for Gambit.

Looks like eight more seasons tracked there.

Last season: rushed to champ Thanos, opened hoard to get more levels on him - opened 3 Thanos and last 4 BP I needed, so forced to hoard again. Got to where I could champ BP late in season and opened 2nd part of hoard (fully) - pulled no BP and forced into two 4* champs, started hoarding 3rd time for final week of season.

3* changes: SL rostered, not champed. Three 266 (+2, Cage/Grocket), all three dupes started. Patch/BPKK/Mag/SG/BE/Blade/Cap/Rag/BW all 255+, all BH until I stop chasing LT.

4* changes C&D rostered. 37 champed (+2: Gwenpool, Mordo). 9 at 172 (+duck).

Vaulted 4* status: Unchamped Wasp about to join my six other ignored , vaulted 4*'s (PX/WM/GR/IW/Drax/MrF [/Duck]). Drew to champ BP - instead drew SEVEN Gwenpool and SEVEN Mordo - raced to champ both. Venom/Riri unchamped with 13 covers, IF/C&D don't have 13.

....honestly, game is getting boring, and you can see it right here. Only 5*'s matter, and classic dilution kills any "progress" on getting them bigger. 4*'s matter only when basically maxed AND boosted, the drop rate on them is so slow that getting more than a couple that way is nearly impossible. "Hoard for next 5*" and "Play against boosted 5* that you don't have" gets REALLY old, REALLY fast.

As I said last time Gambit = God(mode) and so I based the season on that principle

3* 36x266 (-2; needed iso). 36 dupe copies champed (+4)...except I sold 3-5 (I forget) max champ copies so some of these aren't dupes anymore. Honestly the 3*'s are almost irrelevant if they are going to do half the PVP's as 4*'s, and the 3*/4* PVE essentials are the same difficulty....Maybe one more dupe that will need ISO next season, BH set only on 3* godmode Gambit (212) and have my 0/0/5 level 89 pile of sillyness already built.

4*: Everyone finished that could be possible. I started pulling to get Gambit asap and finished all of the ones in tokens, didn't want to waste the covers. + champ Rogue/Yondu/Mockingbird/Wasp/Nightcrawler. 3/4/5 (finally not purple) duck, 1/4/5 Hulk, 1/4/3 Nico are only three not champed. Carol hit max, haven't started 2nd copy. Moving BH around for LT's, in chase of godmode Gambit.

I pulled one LT to get GR and it took 14 to get JJ. In those 14 I pulled five 5*, including a BH so Gambit progress continued miraculously! How sad that the other four I didn't care about -at all-, I would have been excited if it was Gambit/Thor/DD I was pulling.

I haven't posted in this thread in forever, but also this will be my last update on my roster. Not that I'm quitting or anything, but that my roster has reached the point where these updates are no longer interesting.

I have 13 champed 5*s and Archangel fully covered. I was going to skip AA entirely, but pulled 10 straight covers for him while searching for a Jessica Jones. So I'm going to hoard now until AA leaves. At this point in my roster development, it's entirely possible to fully cover each 5* before they leave Latest status given reasonable luck. But I still have the option of hoarding and skipping someone I don't like. I'm not sure how I'll champ the Classics that I don't have finished yet (Hulk, Star-Lord, Strange, Widow and Doc Ock), but I'll get them eventually through 4* feeders.

This is pretty uninteresting since I have everyone champed but Valkyrie. Once she's in packs I'll be able to champ her pretty quickly. It usually only takes a season or two to catch up on each new 4* that shows up. I don't have anyone at 370 yet (Coulson is closest at 352), but I'll probably keep the 370 and start a dupe like I did for the 3*s.

Everyone is champed, and the only ones that aren't max champed are Angel, Gambit and Elektra. I have dupes for all of the 3*s at 266, and all but 4 of them are champed. It was a pretty big usage of ISO to champ them all, but now that I've done it, I'll be able to use any extra ISO that I have to softcap my unchamped 5*s.

I keep selling each one as they get to 144, but eventually I'll start creating dupes for them instead. It seems to be the in thing to do for 5* players to have a bunch of 144s banked up.

Roster is pretty much up-to-date -- I should get Jubilee sometime today, and I don't have Jessica Jones rostered, but I'm otherwise up to current.

Strategy/Comments: Own them all, but my DDQ team (Iron Man, Storm, and Black Widow) are the only ones leveled, so that they're automatically selected when I go to do the mission.
Rostered: ALL.
Maxed: Black Widow, Iron Man, Storm. (Have full covers on everyone else except YB, but leaving them at Level 1 for now). YB at 2/0.

2-Star

Strategy/Comments: Ending Farm #6, starting Farm #7 (except poor Moonstone, who just started #6). Only real change in strategy is that I'm thinking of "wasting" three roster spots on duplicates of my DDQ team (Mags/Hawkeye/Thor) so I have a farm version and a DDQ version that stays at 144. Think I'll try it for now, and if it proves to be a stupid idea, I can always reclaim those spots for new characters down the road.

Championed: Always in flux, but Mags/Wolvie/Moonstone just re-cycled, Thor and Hawkeye are approaching max, and the main group is in the low 130s/high 120s.
Max Championed: Thor, and Hawkeye is at 143.

Strategy/Comments: Grinding away, but the lead group can at least see the finish line in the distance. Steve Rogers leads the pack at 252, Patch just hit 240, and a few more in the 230s. My favorite strategy is that there's two sweet spots in the reward curve (219 - 227 and 250+), so heroes go on the favorite list while they're in those two zones. Also Gambit and Angel, just to get them caught up.

Championed: ALL. The thick part of the bell curve is from 200-230.
Max Championed: NONE. Top 5 - Cap 252, Patch 240, IM40 237, Blade 234, Kamala 232

Strategy/Comments: Everyone rostered (basically -- my alliance is on the first Jubilee cover, so by the time you read this, I'll have her). 20 champions, but no one all that high-level -- RiRi at 289 is atop the leaderboard. I used to have a "parking lot" at 209, but it kind of faded away as some heroes champed out and no one really replaced them for a while. Now I just level people as I have ISO ready.

"Next up" bucket is Spider-Woman (4/5/3 - 250), X-23 (4/3/5 - 250), and Deadpool (5/1/5 - 233). Nico has covers dying on the vine, but at 4/1/5 - 213, I don't envision getting there in 2 weeks.

Favorites tends to be either a) fill in "holes" so that each hero has at least one cover in all powers, b) hi-lo where I fave the highest non-champ and the lowest 2-3 heroes, c) push anyone while they've got covers dying (as long as it's within 2-3 covers... not gonna push a 5/0/0).

Focusing on Peggy at the moment so I can hopefully stop running from her in PVP. After that it will probably be Fury. Being on day 412, I'm getting Fury from Daily Resupply in a couple weeks. I champ 4s about every 7-10 days, assuming I'm not trying to rebuild my 2* farm or the current PVE event isn't starving me of ISO like The Gauntlet.

Almost teared up reading this. This was March of this year, so it's been 9 months since this post. I'm definitely no longer a transitioner lol. I have a deep 4* roster now at 43 champs strong, and Rhodey will be #44 in a matter of days. I began 2017 having just finished the 3-star tier (at the time) and 0 4-star champs, and I had a goal of 40 for the year, so every extra one now is just about closing the gap and getting ahead of the release schedule. I've even got max champed 3s in the double digits now, and have champed both an IM40 and Patch 2.0. At this point my goal is fully champing the 4-star tier, which is a much more elusive goal than finishing the 3s were. New 3-star releases are few and far between, and 3s cost much less iso to get champed, so that target wasn't moving too fast. 4-stars on the other hand come out almost every 2 weeks, and it takes me about 1.5 weeks still to champ them. And this is including the iso increase from Shield Rank. There will be 17 left to go after I handle War Machine, so I'm anticipating I'll be through them all by the summer. We'll see!

Just champed America this morning at #52, but I had to sell off a 144 2-star to get it in time for the expiring cover. I was on a nice pace of champing at least 1 4-star every week, but at this point the 3-star farm is just growing up way faster than I can keep up with. I have 24 max 3-star champs, and a handful that are Lv 255+. 9 of them have duplicates ready to be champed. I told myself I will focus on the 3-stars that have 2-star feeders first, then actually finish a 2-star farm. I have just been running with 6 2-star champs, and I want to get back to a farm where no 2-star covers were wasted.

This will inevitably slow down my mission to champ all 4s and get ahead of the release schedule, but having the bottom tiers completely finished will allow me to get champ levels and thus all kinds of resources at a much quicker rate. Still looking to probably be ready for 5-star Land in the summer.

I accomplished my goal of getting my 2-star farm fully up and running again - and thanks to the Offseason PVP that even includes a champed Bagman! I've flipped OBW, Moonstone, and 2-Cap so far, but I've got a few more that are sitting at 144. The covers for the dupes actually aren't coming as fast as I hoped, so I've been juggling roster spots to build dupes. On another note, that 24 Max 3-star Champs has now grown to 36, with another 6 that are Lv 260+. The only ones below Lv 257 are the 3 newest (Elektra, Gambit, Angel), but thanks to Bonus Heroes I've gotten them all above 200 at least. As far as their dupes go, I've re-champed 17 dupe 3-stars so far, with another 8 that are fully covered. I had been re-champing 3s back to back, focusing exclusively on the 2-star feeders and those with large amounts of covers waiting. Out of the feeder 3s, just Bulls3y3 (literally as of this moment) and Spider-Man (I've already gotten a cover from BagMan so gotta count him) are still remaining that are fully covered. My backup Ragnarok and Hawkguy still need more covers.

Now as far as 4s go, I've managed to champ 2 more before all this: Kate Bishop and Winter Soldier (54 total). They were the last 4s on the 2 -> 3 -> 4 champ reward track that I hadn't gotten to, so I for sure wanted to have that tree producing fruit on all branches at all times. Thing is though, I've decided to abandon ship on this for a while and get back to 4s. I might still champ a 3 here and there if the situation demands, but I've started to feel like I'm falling behind on 4s, which is moving the endgame farther away. I broke away to 3s in the first place because I was pulling so many covers that were just sitting on the vine, but I've champed a decent enough number of them now where waste isn't so egregious. Sure I'm likely about dump 4 SWitch covers in favor of champing Kraven of all of people, when I'm sitting on enough iso to champ her now, but she isn't going anywhere. More importantly, if I can get over my OCD, I could just let myself sell off her 266 version to champ the dupe lol. But yeah I've changed philosophies for the time being to focus on a top-down approach to who gets champed as opposed to down-up. Some of the 3-star dupes that I champed feed 4s who I don't have champed, which was an issue for me as well.
