Not sure who to focus on first. GSBW had full health and got one shot KO by Cage's yellow. (I was focusing on IF)

Switched to focus on Cage with Loki/patch/LTorch and lasted a bit longer. I think my patch is just too under leveled.

I have 3 whales, but figure this far out I should save them for the horrors ahead.

I'm fighting Lvl 298 team, don't know if this is typical or getting screwed by scaling with my surfer.

If Team loki yes. Let cage to the end.

If Team Hulk takes fist ou cage first because of the shield, this you can destroy with sniper rifle. Accumulates retribution to shoot after the sniper rifle and the opponent below 40% health.

Never let the opponent get purple!

i got nothing. every special they do is basically a one shot kill. there's no obvious choice as to the order to attack.

if this node is this hard, what's the third segment like?

i hated the gauntlet before. this is not helping it's cause.

Down to the qs essential vs jg/4clops/xfw for my px cover. I'd like to try and beat it without resorting to whales. Any suggestions?

I've never been this stuck before, but I'm stuck on Sim 36. Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Blade. They're level 343, and I can't kill a single one of them before they KO my whole team.

Any advice? Here's my roster for reference. I only have a few people at 166, and I think having Surfer and OML are finally hurting me in a PVE, as I'm seeing other people with the same number of 166s having enemies under level 300.

Any help with sim 39 would be great.

I got close with GSBW/3Cyclops/DocOc by avoiding crits until taking out Jean. Inevitably, Hulk Proof and Repulsor Punch would be my end every time, throw in a Skrull Crusher and I'm watching helplessly as Veronica puts me to sleep.

I got through on GSBW, Daken Classic and black panther

Save all powers until I had a build up... Sniper ready with a little extra green as I built up deceptive tactics for fire sniper straight away again. While building this I got black panther ready to fire off rage of panther and daken ready with chemical reactions - fired tgen one after the other and then the panthers battleplan to start hatching again and wham gone

In case anyone else needs a suggestion, I used Daken and iron fist and finally won. Take out jg then Cyke then xfw.

Quicksilver can help with the occasional purple or green swap. It's very very slow tho but you can finish with the enemy barely any matches in.

Hulkbomb into GSBW sniper is what I would do with your roster if you are talking about the Cage, IF, Blade one. I did with Hulkbomb into Thor (4 green covers) and KK (healing which was nice but wasn't needed much).

Beat it second try with Blade/Grocket/Cyclops all lvl 166- tried to deny black and red and took JG down early. Grockets blue power (5 blue is a must) along with Blades tiles let me wipe them out pretty fast. Luckily I was able to keep JG one AP below her needed to fire her purple or green right before I killed her. I think many people really underestimate Grockets blue power as I turn to him before Patch for similar results without giving my opponents tiles. Rarely do I have issues with his blue cd tile being matched since you can select where to place it which is a godsend.

Yep, I see that team boosted to 368 and they're destroying me. GSBW Sniper Rifle is barely making a dent in them.

Managed to clear node 35 with OBW, Ares, Cstorm and some ap boosts. Running into the node 36 challenge with a pretty weak roster.

Loki seemed to do okay against them when I got a steal off, but my patch is too undercovered and just gets taken out real quick.

Yeah but where I have 6 heroes at 166 or better, you have 22, lol.

Cyclops, Thor, Red Hulk? Yeah, Rulk handed me my tinykitty this morning, after the scaling gods decided I was playing too well. That node was at about 210-212 for me, but I went & played the last two Daken essentials first and pasted them. So I go look at that node again, and *BAM!* 245-246.

I actually took down Cyc & Thor with my Patch + Loki + Daken team, but Rulk ate me for breakfast after that. Every hit I landed on him was triggering tile destruction & cascade, and he easily gathered enough purple to fuel greens.

I think it's unfair for Gauntlet to scale on you while you're playing it. The levels should be 'set & forget'. Heaven forbid I discover a good team and actually surmount the challenges laid before me. Heaven forbid I actually earn a mere Quicksilver cover and unlock the third gauntlet.

I'm going to have to superwhale that node. Four battery powers, two AOE nukes, a single-target nuke, a chaos-generator, and 10,000+ health on each character. I figure you need stuns, AP denial, strikes, and protects or regen to get through that. I can't assemble a team with all of that and still have enough health to survive something going wrong (i.e. Thor using his green before he went down, and oh yeah, a Wind Storm TU that hit me).

It's ridiculous how hard scaling in this game punishes you for progressing

I hate gauntlet, i'm at node 39 (level 201-202) just wiped so badly with patch loki and OBW and....surprise!!! they scaled up to 212.....

why? it was the first time ever on that node, and wiped....but it scaled up anyway.


And don't understand why in any pve i just grind until leg token...and now i have to use 50 healthpack for less rewards

Tried this team on my first try and got deadpool and wolvie down and then thor ate my team.

Brought out the Cage/Switch/IF team with 50% damage boost on b/g and p/b and beat it first try.

After taking out deadpool, I actually fired off switch's stun and it hit thor so I burned down wolvie with cage's punches. Then I reloaded while Thor was stunned and took her out.

Now to knock out the essentials to get my prof.
