I like how this event is running. Rewarding grinders who put the time in. Have hit top placement in all but one sub and am cruising in my main bracket. If this is the future of PVE, Sign me up.0

Imo, give level scaling to easy bracket but not hard bracket or it just better min/max values. At least for me, the scaling caused the easy bracket to exceed parity with the hard bracket, rendering easy/hard aspect null. It's now just the low point and high point bracket.0 -
The more I play these l230 teams the more I realize that Mags doesn't need to be nerfed as much as people think. If anything only a minor change such as his red costing 3 instead of 2 or maxing his purple at 5k DMG. Or making his blue not gain back AP so he can't keep throwing critical on the board.
When he isn't powered up he will be high tier but certainly not too overpowered. IMO.0 -

I hope they reconsider the "5 AP minimum" rule. The prob is that the other 2 AP abilities were too strong for being 2 AP. It wasn't the cost that was the problem, it was the cost:power ratio. It has to be understood that a cost of 2/3 AP is a significant advantage in itself, so the power of the abilities must be diminished significantly to compensate.0 -
I disagree. Any ability that has the potential to create cascades is way more powerful than just it's base damage.0

The RNG appears to've heard what I said about its mother. Gave up on this round: figured if I'm going to grind out 20 ISOs ad nauseam it might as well be for a lot of points and took 5k off sim 4 instead.0

I have the complete opposite opinion after this event. It costs 5 AP to get rid of any two countdown tiles? It's free to just make a critical come out of nowhere if there's a single blue match on the board? You can often get MORE blue than what you started with after using the blue skill? That's ridiculous!0

In my bracket the first place have M. Storm 37 as your best character. And almost all the moves of the enemies they get to make cascades.

I like scaling... hurts rubberbanders trying to swoop in at the last minute.
Lev 230s dont faze me, so if scaling is deterring others than that's a net positive for me.
I could see the frustration for those stuck between newb rosters and 3 star rosters though... not getting benefit of weak teams but also not ready for the big leagues.0 -

Its been that way for me for a while But at least the others are sub 200. Unlike the hard simulation where I have 6 sets maxed now and I am sure the people with better crews have them all maxed. Its just for me after 150+ it makes little odds I doing either spiderman/OBW/Daken with just low enough for OBW to match both black and purple. Or Spiderman/OBW/Mags who is 3/0/0 and boy that one takes a while. Most of the damage, in the end when everything locked down, comes from using Magnetic field to make crit tiles for 7 blue ap.
I got to the 170 desert tile a couple of times and those 6 crit tiles came in very useful!0 -

There's a guy in the Hard Mode sub event who's in second with about 22k points. Hiw highest level character is a level 50 Iron Man Model 35. Next one is a level 40 something.
I really wanna know how the hell he's managed to acrue so many points.0 -

Where's my supersuit? I mean, my rewards? Hopefully came in top 5 in hard and top 10 in easy; got tough luck right in the last minutes because IW started giving me trouble. Damn Don generating ap for her. Not so tough without Don, are you?

later edit: ouch, black Daken, blue and yellow cStorm (I only need 2 greens for her and my Daken is maxed).
If there are 59 hours left does that mean I could do everything I can in the next 4 hours and then have 5 refreshes available?

No, you got it! I tried an 800 mission at the end, but with no Patch and Devil Dino at 16K health I couldn't finish it in time. Enjoy the extra Captain America!0 -
Feels good to win back 1st in the normal bracket by repeatedly grinding the 230 Punisher fight. I am seeing value in this scaling difficulty thing, since it encourages far less grinding than what we had to do before. Hopefully I can complete my M. storm from these tokens... Managed to grind out the last 2 500s isos as well!. I'm currently sitting in the lead with 83k, second guy is at 71. One thing that worries me is that at this rate, it'll be pretty much impossible to go for the 250k 8000k iso progression award. The point values in these subs do seem to be increasing by 500 points each round, but I'm not sure if thats enough to make up for the fact that linearly scaling this would only get me 160k.. I guess repeatedly grinding the last sub is going to be a thing to achieve that award since it should be worth the most points.0
