Okay...
Edit - His score went from 11000 to 16000 in increments of 100-1000 in < 5 minutes lol. Stopped atm. All that tough grinding, had to take a break I suppose.
Edit2 - Nevermind just went up another 1k
Has there actually been a report from anyone on here with one of these type rosters, (i.e. mainly low levels) explaining what they see in terms of enemy levels? It would be interesting to know, and maybe quell some of the consternation in terms of how these players are able to compete.
If not, can the development team explain this phenomenon?0 -
I had a pretty tough bracket and I finished around 20th about 10k behind #1. I was sooo stoked when I used my Highly Trained token. I finally got that 47th Daken cover I was looking for...0

Anyone beat the aries bagman and captain america?? What was your strategy to win??0

I don't really need highly trained tokens though lol. Only Rag and Hulk black are the two I can think of that I want badly.0 -

Yea, I'm basically just competing for HP at this point. So, I can buy the last few covers I really want (Hulk black, Hood Yellow, Doom Blue).
I feel bad taking away prizes from people that need the covers/tokens, but HP rewards are so scarce, it's what I have to do.0 -
Man, at the rate these levels are increasing we need to arrange some sort of arranged mass tanking.0

I see Psykopathic and walkyourpath in my hard bracket... ****.
At least they'll push the pace so I don't slack off in the main bracket.
Seriously Psyko... two laps already?0 -

3*Boosts, lots of protect tiles from C.Magneto & some luck allowed me to beat my (197/197/197) EASY MODE Aries, Bagman & Captain America. Haven't tried the (230/230/230) HARD MODE yet. Thinking about taking a break from this stupid game design till the designers actually listen to people about it.
Team was:
IM40 - level 33 (provided)
Hood - level 83 (5 blue)
Magneto - level 94 (buffed)0 -

Mindless mindless violence.
Patch, Iron Man 40 and OBW.
Stock up on goodies. Pop Iron Mans charge ability. Deny Ares and tank with Patch where possible. The others don't hit too hard, just don't jeapordise OBW.
When you have enough resources...
Berserk, Berserk, Red Claw attack. Share this love around because then you pop Iron Man blue missile attack. Berserk whoever still has a face.
Then with all the strike tiles around abuse espionage to do 2500-3000 damage per attack. Cascade where possible.
Swear you will never attempt the level again.
A Daken / IM 40 / Punisher combo could also work for you. Probably less messy than the above strategy.0 -

That's just what I was thinking. Good to know that one lap is good for Top 10 in our hard bracket - hoping to do max 1 lap per refresh. I'll miss tonight due to Valentine's Day with my better half (no regrets, we're doing a Star Wars Valentine's night with 3 other couples! I hit the lottery with her - best cover pull ever), So I won't be trying for first - just enough to keep the pace in my main. One lap through hard (haven't even touched easy yet, and I'm already back in 1st in main, so if the scaling keeps slowing more people down I'm actually all for it).0 -
wuming79 wrote:Anyone beat the aries bagman and captain america?? What was your strategy to win??
storm, punisher, magneto
1. WindStorm Ares then Translocate his ****
2. Save Bagman for last
3. Punisher is a PVE juggernaut with maxed retribution, shaves at least a few minutes off your matches.0 -
when they nerf spidy ill be in so much trouble...hes my go to man atm...the only tough stage for me was the one where u cldnt pick em lol , the others just take really long ,
1st overall , 1st in hard , 11th in easy....thats too much grinding for me..
whats the general strategy in replaying stages after the 12hr reset?, do you replay all or just the ones that give you the most points.0 -

If you do Patch, Mag and IM40 you'll win fairly easily, just might take a little bit of damage.0 -
My Simulator normal mode looks like my Simulator hard mode levels now...
On the plus side, I've gotten four 3* covers (out of 7) from my simulator event tokens.0 -
Baglady one is much easier than Daken one.0

Awwww... Best Cover Pull ever! That is really sweet! men can be so romantic when they want to be.
So... What exactly does a Star Wars Valentines night consist of? My first thought was slave Leia ....0 -

Magneto synergises really well with strike tile generators like Patch - I've hardly ever used his red skill before, but have been spamming the **** out of it today. Each one hitting for approx 1500-2000 damage a turn with a full compliment of Lv111 Patch strike tiles.0 -

I love the community scaling... the harder the levels get, the less grinding it takes to place top 2.
Playing with buffed Magneto is quite fun, I was gonna wait until post nerf to sink any more iso into him, but his translocation is just too delicious for me to resist. I hope he gets the Thorverine treatment and not the Riches to Rags neutering, because I'm dumping everything I earn from these subs into Mags.0 -
I'm currently 9th in my hard bracket and I've only done the missions that lead to the big ISO reward lol.
With Patch, the Baglady/Pun/Don fight is trivial.0
