  • Well screwy coding and a wall of until label ****. Can't even get by ares captain America bagman. Wish the levels would factor in which toons are buffed and which are blocked when the enemies start around 170 and you're forced to use a 41

    Looks like they still have a ton of work cut out for them :p

    Started the Simulations with all lvl 230 in Hard Mode. and I am stuck at this place as you are and don't know what the heck to do. its a shame that I can't progress with this because this system is yet again broken. There goes my lead as the top 1 in my placement

    Just frustrated!

    Looks like my entire top 10 in hard mode has 85s and below. Apparently the enemy curve for 3* vs 2* is ridiculous. Is this worth spending a week of hell (translation not fun) to get a few new covers that will probably be handed out as candy a few weeks later? Maybe the proper way to play now is not level anything past 85 until you have every cover :p
  • Seeing as though all our Hard mode is now 230s, does that mean the NEXT one will be lesser levels seeing as though nobody wants to grind this one out???

    Damn that bait and switch LoL Bait us in with great rewards and lower levels and then BAM, less rewards and higher levels
  • Just went to check my levels and my guys are level 50 in the Hard Mode......don't want to jinx it, but I wonder why so low.

    Punisher getting a free Molotov every 3 turns is pretty insane for the hard battle. It's also poorly designed. If you don't have Spiderman, you basically have 15 turns to go through 30K HP (yeah right) because 5 Molotov is going to guaranteed to wipe out your team and only Spiderman can stun that reliably.

    I also don't get what's with some goons not using any AP, like for example you'll see Decoy needs 7 green for Shock, but when they drop a tile, they don't get charged any AP. Shouldn't it cost that many AP to put down a CD tile? I know there are Snipers that have 0 for Deadly Shot that's a notable exception (they only use 1 every X turns, otherwise they can just Deadly Shot 20 times and you'll be dead in 6 turns).
  • Agreed. That battle is pretty touch and go. Had to break use spidey, patch and loki.

    Meh, overslept for the last push in phase 1... would've had to wake up at 4-5am
    Fell behind, started new phase, barely was able to finish anything, now most of my roster is dead. So mentally I gave up on Psylocke

    Event started promising, but now feels even more frustrating than heroic oscorp... maybe I'm just worn out by this game. I could really need a pure fun event once in a while...

    Also right now my subbrackets (even the hard one) is dominated by players with a roster where no one is above level 50... they really should stop the scaling and make the events the same for everyone. At least then you would have a sense of progression. Now it feels like a constant grind, all the time

    I think for me, it helps knowing I won't get her so I'm putting less effort into grinding to get the points.
    I'm not going to have access to my steam from Sunday until about late Thursday. Does the event finish Thurs?
    Actually it normally finishes Friday right?
    Either even if I do catch the end it'll be one rotation of the last sub and I doubt I'll be able to make enough points from that to get psylocke unless everything hits walls of 230 and gives up.

    All my guys now are 100+ on easy and hard

    Had a very odd situation happen in my main bracket. Player gained at least 10,000 points, possible more, in the space of perhaps an hour to jump to a huge lead with around 3-4 hours left before the end of the sub. Basing that 10k points estimate on the fact they weren't in the top 10 beforehand and jumped at least 10k over 10th place.

    Roster has:

    L17 Cap America 3/0/2
    L30 IM40 1/1/2
    L31 Invisible Woman 0/0/2

    I know there's a lot of scaling going on, yet my bracket has lots of low level rosters in the top 10 that didn't crush anywhere near that many points over the entire last refresh. Let alone in an hour or so.

    I'm loath to call shenanigans, but the overall roster also seemed fishy with multiple 4* covers and leveling that doesn't match with the cover count.

  • Why do they want to design the game in such a way? What is the incentive of improving your team just to get all this rubbish scaling factors??!!

    There is none. Just sit on your ISO and never upgrade anybody

    Because an improved team can take on the scaled enemies? What is the point of the game if you can beat everything with an unimproved team?
