Saw this being promoted on social media. Not sure what to think of this.

    Wonder how much of these players did their score without "abusive" level alliance coordination - which is something they wanted to get rid of...

    I chose, "Other" instead of, "Has no effect," because I'm more in the camp of, "I have no idea why this is a problem for anybody."

    no where do I or anybody state it's a "problem". It's interesting to see what D3 promotes outside of their own created content. This is one of the only times they have done this.

    I picked that it had no effect, but it might actually be good for everyone.

    Points being officially promoted will put the craziest people to push higher and higher, which should provide juicier targets for everyone, making the 1000 and 1300 covers easier to obtain.

    I think it's kind of cool. For those who are elite players, I'm sure it spurs on some competition. For other players, like myself, it shows I have a LONG way to go!

    The correct answer is "other", because if this motivates more people to score higher, it's good for everyone trying to hit progressions.

    Lots of games have ladders where the best of the best can see their names in lights. Nothing wrong with this at all. I'd like to see them expand it to top 100 and incorporate it into the final scores results in game.

    I vote no effect, but it is something to look at. Would be interested to see a PVE chart as well.

    Not sure what to think either (if anything!) without some of the above....

    ...beyond, why no universal leaderboards in game???

    Oh, that was "it" icon_lol.gif I'm sorry, I thought they had posted a screencap of something else onto their Facebook. The comments at Facebook are fun icon_e_biggrin.gif

    Voted "other". It's interesting i guess. Lets a bigger chunk of the playerbase see what extreme scores are possible. But no one should be disgusted or outraged ... but we get plenty of that here on the forum anyway! Every player should have their own goals.

    Why would this "disgust" anyone? PVP is already inherently competitive, and I'd be willing to bet the people who end up on this list would have gone for crazy high scores regardless.

    They've stopped releasing 3* so the only reason I pvp is for 4* progression covers. Easily hit 1300 on a single shield so I'm all for high scores.

    Wouldn't mind seeing it for pve, I have a hunch I'm usually toward the top.

    Man, how come I couldn't have been in this slice! I'm aiming for slices like this because as stated before, the higher the top scores, the higher the next set of scores. Progression rewards are the most important part of PVP for the majority of players in the game, so bring it.

    Of course, the easier it gets for the majority to hit solid progression rewards...the sooner they nerf the scoring procedure to make it more difficult...thereby allowing the self-hating dopes like me to continue punishing themselves by obsessing over MPQ. Thank you mighty overlords for your benevolence and mercy.

    I was in that slice, 1k didn't even get me T25..

    I think new awards need to be added to progression... this way they push higher and leave more points in the node for those of us who need them. Side note, i did have Thunderkev queued up, and pounced when he was shielded. 89 pts... easiest 1 fight hop to 1k i have ever had.
