    I second all comments about the look, not a fan of the neon, I'm not sure the bigger event button is a good idea especially without updated graphics'

    I relly wish the roster button would have stayed in the bottom right corner.

    I check my roster way more often than my alliance status. For this reason I would greatly prefer the roster button to be more accessible.

    Except if most player check their alliance more than the roster and I'mpart of a minority, the current display of these two buttons seems less than ideal.
  • It's terrible. Too large. Too pixelated. I liked the old style. You didn't have to swipe over so much left or right to pick what you wanted to play. I do like the separate Alliance tab, and breaking of the prologue into its own thing. Just fix the size and **** quality.

    Looks like they've already improved the text visibility and contrast issues on the popup notifications. It's a start.

    I'm going to be the stick in the mud.

    I actually like the direction of the new UI changes. I don't particularly enjoy the aesthetics.

    Speaking from the phone perspective (I haven't checked it on Steam yet), but yeah.

    I like the kinda cliche space-y background and the light-blue buttons along the buttons. I like the how they reorganized the buttons. I like the new tabbing. I like the fact they made the event 'buttons' bigger. I like the way the new pop-ups look. The Uncanny Deadpool pop-up looks pretty sick imo.

    I don't like the flat coloring on the tabbing and the resupply button. It clashes pretty hard with everything else.

    I don't like the quality of the event 'buttons'. They seem like they just blew up the old ones, but you can see jagged edges and such. It's particularly obvious right now on Krackadoom and Shield Sim.

    Pixelated is bad for me too on my Android MotoG2 but I just can't get around the fact that the events are not lined up properly next to each other (--_--_) & the season banner actually gets on top of the Season Simulator event. icon_eek.gif

    I mean, seriously? No one looked at this before it got released. Forget about the fact that the UI is not so well designed but at least make it professional. Lining up UI elements is so very basic.

    I strongly suggest that you change your software development process to AGILE which is perfect for small releases on a regular basis. A kanban board would also help you out I think. Simply include a peer code review & a testing column that each items being developed has to go through in order to eliminate such amateur looking releases.

    These type of mistakes should never have passed a peer code review & some basic testing.

  • It's like they want to have landscape mode, and just said fk it, we'll just keep scrolling.
  • New interface is offensively bad. Old one was mostly fine. I really don't know why they changed it over to ugly mode. Granted, I've barely been playing anymore, but would be nice if I were looking at an interface that's at least a little aesthetically pleasing when I do.

    How about lowering the brightness of the token opening animation? Does that count as UI? Let's just say that it does.

    The Lightning Round event icon is also offset too high compared to the other event icons. It's at the same height as the SHIELD Simulator PvP icon.

    Good lord. This looks atrocious on a tablet. I have to hold the device away from myself to navigate the giant menus.

    Any chance of an iPad-optimized sizing scheme?

    The only issue I am having after update is occasionally when you come out of an event all events disappear, (similar to the server being down. Anyone else having this issue?

    I've seen a very brief issue where "no events available" flashes on the screen for a fraction of a second.

    I've also noticed this (for the first time, though wasn't sure of the precise message) for the first time since this update.

    I play on Steam too and I hadn't actually realised HOW horrid if was until I saw this.

    It's sort of like a decorated christmas tree, a can of pepsi and a firework exploded at the same time.

    NO NO, WAIT, I got it.... Anyone remember the very start of MySpace???

    (Actually, I am sorry to the dev team for my sass... it's just.... you really could have a nice simple thing on (probably one page) rather than the multiple menu bars and huge game icons. I know you have a lot of screen space to fill, but this just doesn't seem like the best way).

    New UI looks terrible! At least at my phone. Covers are way too big and additionally they look like stretched from the lower resolution.
    There are also too many colors - seems a bit chaotic.
    And I had some problems with a time of response, isn't it much slower now?

    I cannot understand how it could be approved by anyone...

    Ok, so most of my graphic design skills are based around tables in Microsoft Word but thankfully, it's enough to get concepts across to start conversations.

    Here is a sample UI I quickly whipped up (for now, let's say for Landscape on Steam). The play boxes on the right are meant to have a strip of the main image for that particular quest and whatever details you want to put in and items can include PLAY NOW, COMING UP and RECENTLY COMPLETED (should it be necessary).

    The left side has the other ongoing stable things (menu items, account totals) and stuff that is coming up.
