When you find yourself preferring to use the loaner vs. your own Carnage, that's a pretty good indication that this character has a design problem.0

Attempted to fight a Carnage/Shulkie/Falcon team today, and i mean attempted.. my Carnage is 0/0/1, so i used the loaner black.. Shulk kept stealing and strenghtening then falcon strengthened. Threw my best team at them (3Thor and Doom) and it lasted about 4 minutes, didn't down a single one of them.
This is the team i am going to try when i have a built She-Hulk and Falcon.0 -

Yep. 1 Black is a death sentence. Not even worth training, IMO, unless you're in danger of losing the cover. As it ranks up, maybe it's different, as the difference between allied and enemy tiles changes.0 -
I may be the only person that's enjoying Carnage. I've got mine at 3/1/3 now (just hit the 1k progression) and I used Blade (lvl 150)/Doc Ock (lvl 136)/Carnage (boosted lvl 203) exclusively for the entire climb and I'm getting a crazy number of defensive wins. Normally I get one here and there but I've gotten about 150 points from defense thus far.
I have burned through my health packs twice, maybe 3 times, though so take that for what it's worth. There are times where i barely get through a match where the enemy attack tiles wipe most of my team. There are also times where i take down a max boosted Goddess Thor or an Iron Fist/Hulkbuster team in just a few turns.
Overall I'm definitely liking Carnage. He's such a wildcard and it's exciting to see if you can outpace the self damage. Of course, I could be psycho myself...0 -
Issue: Carnage's Alien Instincts power is triggering whenever the turn passes to the opponent.
The teams were:
Me:
Carnage ( )
Groot ( )
Black Widow, Grey ( )
AI
Carnage ( )
Wolverine, X-Force ( )
Loki ( )
I have no idea why it was triggering every time it switched to my opponents move with no abilities being triggered, and even before any abilities had gone off.0 -

Curious to know why Carnage was chosen to be a 4* or in the game at all.
EXACTLY what I have been saying for weeks, now!!!!!!
This is nothing more than nerdgasming at the office, similar to how they go on and on about how good Moonstone is, and then wasting time and resources on her.
Ridiculous. Not to mention juvenile.
Slightly off topic, but there was absolutely no lull in the character release rate. Some characters got added in for multimedia tie-in, but they were just added to the every 2 weeks regular schedule. There was no break for us players (just a cut in character quality as vision, quicksilver, bullseye and carnage are all meh at best.
On topic, carnage is a headscratcher as a 4*, like Elektra. Fury, prof. X, kingpin, imhb, even star-lord(as the theoretical leader of a very popular team thanks to the movie) make sense. But Elektra and carnage standout as significant, but very much NOT a-list characters to be raised up to 4* level.0 -
It means loki had enough black for his power, but no tiles to use it on, so the AI tries to use it and gets an error message.. Works for you as well if you try to use a power (like loki black) and get the error message, Carnage goes off like you used it anyway.0

I will say the greatest counter to carnage is Doc Ock. His black triggers on all that destruction and I destroyed 10 attack tiles with my blue doing massive dmg. If you have your own carnage you can one shot even 4hor with some luck. I'm loving my 5/4/4 doctor but Carnage makes me want to go 5/5/3, but I think 5/4/4 still is the stronger build. I'll have to rerun numbers0

How about carnage/electkra/groket? Rainbow coverage, with carnage red damage negated by electkra black and absorbed by the groket yellow? Just need to make sure there is enough black for electkra trap before casting red. If there are 14 red + 10 black, it can be cast twice without hurting a hair of Electkra, and the enemy lose around 16k health in total0

I just like KK & Carnage conceptually. Everytime Carnage cast black, you get 'some health' back. With someone like Steve Rogers to put up protects while wiping tiles (or CMags). I really like the idea of Bullseye though...

Will carnage's tiles overwrite elektra's traps? If so, that could be a problem. Overall, I don't think Elektra is the best pair. With all tho se attack tiles, it will be hard to keep her black traps in the board. He damage avoidance is better against big nukes, rather than incremental damage.0 -

I have been seeing this too, so far every documented instance has been when there are minions on the screen but it may be happening other times as well. Have sent them multiple emails about it and their response has repeatedly been "are you SURE you aren't just missing when the minion places a tile?" But last night it happened 3 times in one match while I was watching carefully. Sometimes after a tile is placed, it will fire twice, and once it just fired by itself when no tile was placed and only minions left on the enemy team. So while the guess that Loki or someone might be TRYING to use a power and failing (I suppose this would be fairly easy to reproduce if you try it with Loki on your own team), that's definitely not the complete answer.
Maybe if more people confirm it's happening they will take it more seriously.0 -

KK's yellow heal doesn't trigger on passives, so that concept wouldn't work.0 -
all animitation needs to go. Scares the hell out of you when your playing at 4am0
-
I agree 100%. The way the game throws you into everyone's Q when your shield beaks or is popped makes every second count. Carnage sucks all around but his passive animation is his worst feature0
