    The increased heroic 3 star.png pack chance is nice (although i haven't had anything above a 2 star.png from DDQ packs in about 3 weeks icon_lol.gif ) but the thing that really grabbed me is doing away with the vault and rotations. I was thinking to myself a couple of days ago why the vault is still around, with so many characters now in the game i think it'll really make pack opening more exciting as you'll never have any idea who you might get. There are quite a few characters that seem to have been vaulted for ages and i'd like to get my hands on.

    Very happy and looking forward to playing with the updates icon_e_biggrin.gif

    It's not something they're primarily doing for your benefit. People were gaming the system and saving up on DDQ event tokens specifically until a set of characters they all still needed would enter rotation. This maximized their odds of actually obtaining more usable covers for said characters. Outright pushing everything into rotation all at once will make that little 'exploit' disappear.

    I'm not counting the fights they show me that are worth low points, since it doesn't make sense to provoke a retal that's going to cost me twice what I gained

    The opening post says nothing about not having all 3*s enter rotation for DDQ tokens, which are -after all- event tokens...

    The total odds of getting a 3* are not being bumped for DDQ tokens, yes. But the news regarding all 3*s re-entering heroic and event packs and the vault idea being scrapped is specifically under a different heading which comes after the statement that the token odds changes don't affect DDQ tokens...

    Also, why do you think I marked exploit with quotation marks? While we might not think of it as an exploit, anything capable of subverting the carefully tuned award system is surely given to the same response as an actula exploit by the developer and/or publisher: i.e. an unwanted side-effect.
  • Regarding the time change for PVP and PVE:
    1. Even though I was one of the East coasters complaining about PVP end times, I hope that this change was based on more than just one poll of discontents. Most people satisfied with the times wouldn't have bothered to vote.
    2. For the people complaining about the end time change, what would be good for you, and what is your situation? There seems to be an attempt to accommodate most people in North America, and the biggest end time gap is 6 hours, 6PM EST to 12A EST.


    This is actually inconvenient for me for PVE now, as I used to be able to arrive home enough to a final grind before 6 PM, and quickly start on the new sub, leaving the rest of the evening free until bedtime.

    I still don't think there's any reason to think it will affect Taco Token odds, though. They're a different type of token with its own specific list of characters that changes constantly. I don't think they're going to cram 30-something characters into a 10% odds section.
  • I think it's a tad dumb to have a separate event with the prize being hulkbuster the same time as the ultron event. And can you please stop using the same cover as a power up in the event as in the pvp.

    I'm pretty sure 90% of the MPQ playing world disagrees with you.
  • Having 2 pve where you can get IMHB with one ending this weekend and the other one at the end of next week, is actually a good chance to have many covers for it. I'm happy with that.

    The new shards time are in fact very bad for me... didn't notice that the starting time was put 12h later than it used to be... meh.. guess I won't be as competitive as I used to be icon_e_sad.gif

  • What's the release number that coincides with the changes so I can know when it's applied, or a time when the change will be applied? I'm holding onto my ultron reward pack until this change is in place. Thanks!
  • Not saying less 4* I'm saying there are not enough hours to play both. Why not start this other event after ultron because you can't delegate enough time to both at the same time. Especially when the same covers are boosted. You have 2 days left in Ulton just make that the event. Then enemy of state not run them side by side during an event that has major rewards to it.

    Why is it still only top 50 for non-alliance for the 4 star cover??
    Why do only alliances gets this "privilege"? Top 100 Alliances are like 1% of the player base.

    Non-Alliance rewards should be top 100 at the very least. Copy the top 100 reward tier structure from alliances over to non-alliances. You changed the Alliance structure mid-event last time for Kingpin, so hopefully you can change this one too.
    This is especially irritating this go around with the next PVE overlapping the Ultron event.

    Am I missing something? I'm still not seeing all 3* characters in heroic and event cover packs. Did they specify a time on 4/30 these changes would be made?

    These come from an update push that usually happens sometime in the afternoon.

    If you're in game when it triggers, it usually kicks you back to splash page with a 'Loading' message. Otherwise, you should see that 'Loading' message the first time you open the game after the update pushes.

    The push went live for me on Steam about 30 minutes ago.
