If it adds any perspective how rubber banding has gone, I'm currently 300 points behind you at 8 hours remaining. So everyone's down to their last refresh.
- I didn't do any of the new main bracket battles until after the 5th sub ended yesterday. Was saving up my rubber banding for a top sub finish (which didn't quite work since I only got 2nd).
- Ended up 5th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st and 2nd in my subs. Skipped at least one of the 230 boss battles completely in each sub.
- So that set my timing up for 3 goes at the main bracket.
-- 1st go last night did about 2/3rds of the possible battles, including the good Hood points
-- 2nd go this morning did everything twice except Magneto/Hood, generally prioritizing highest points first, but not always.
-- Leaving 3rd go for the last couple hours.

On a different note, dunno what to do about the last sub. Figure I have enough patch covers to do 3/5/5 and don't have a 4th green anyways, so will probably just do a minimal number of fights in the sub to get tokens and save my difficulty grinds for the main. Figure I should be safe for a top 50, would be nice to squeak into the top 10 if possible though.

This is ridiculous...seriously, drop the steam version if this game.... Or for all events go through the top 50 of each bracket checking for cheating. I am sure this person cheated into some of those other 3*** most likely and there are TONS on the leaderboards just like them. TONS. Yea, f it. I am going to create a low level thread so we can log all the players with these impossibly.low teams. Send a help ticket too, but it might help in a way to consolidate it as well.

Has anyone tanked since the last patch? I have almost gone through 1/2 of my roster. Typically it goes down a little after tanking 1/3 of the roster.

I did the "The Who" mission and a few others 8hr30min before the end time (7:30am my time). Hope the mission refresh kicks in before event ends, or it'll be hard to stay top 10!

It seems to me the levels tend to settle in a smaller range relatively quickly now, like the harder mission flutcuates around 120-150 and if it goes over that, it drops back down to 150 and then goes down fairly slower from there.

That's why I am not entirely worried about the cheaters...but I still am because I don't know if they can use some voodo in the last seconds to grind 500 matches in 50 min or something lol. I feel bad for the others in the brackets who will be pushed out of tiers due to cheats. And lol if you think d3 will likely retroactively upgrade ppl's win tier after the fact probably.

I wonder if this widespread cheating is new or if its been there for a while? Also...they shoildnt let new ppl into old brackets. That just ASKS for a new cheater to get into your bracket.

It does give people who know a pretty unfair advantage: i personally dont like the structure, but given how i can probably score top 2 because of it makes me feel okay i suppose.

I wouldn't worry too much about me -- with 8 hours to go I was outside the top 10 and falling. I've got one set of refreshes left, same as everyone else, and I won't be able to play starting about 2 hours before the end, so I probably won't be able to take advantage of any rubberbanding shenanigans. Plus tanking no longer seems to be working for me (30+ retreats spread over several different levels, no change in enemy level), so it'll be tough for me just to find the time to play my last set of stacks.

That'll teach me to start an event without checking to see if it's bracketed or not!

Yeah seems like tanking has been hit with the nerf bat. Which makes these high-scoring people with beginner-level rosters really really suspicious

1st in my bracket has lvl 36 IM35, lvl 47 bagman, lvl 22 Thor, lvl 18 Wolv Patch, lvl 8 OBW, lvl 30 Wolv XForce, and lvl 15 Punisher.

Meanwhile I dropped out of top 100 days ago from not being able to beat high level missions. This sure is fun guys. If anything, all this enemy scaling is doing is encouraging cheaters. Cheaters don't care about how hard the enemies are; they'll just beat them anyways. Legit players do care though because they have to struggle and not everyone has Spidey to stun lock, and even with spidey, there's no guarantee that you'll always have enough blue or a miracle cascade won't happen.

I noticed this right away, I tried tanking for the life of me and they still stayed the same level.

Honestly I didn't do well this entire event. Hopefully when they fix it, I will be able to do better. I always forget to do the refreshes when I am supposed to.....
