Not sure if this has been mentioned already but I've had some decent success with Patch, OBW and IM40 for goon-only lvl 230.

Basically if they get one attack off I'm dead no matter what, so use purple to steal blues and yellow. Use Yellow IM40 recharge for more blues

Use OBW blue whenever any of the countdown's get to 1 to hike it back up and then use Patches Green and Red whenever you have them.

Now if only I can figure out a good team to get past Ares and Bullseye at 230...

Okay guys, final two refresh burns coming up and some of you probably want to know which missions give you the most points. This is what the missions should look like with many of their multipliers maxed.

REMEMBER: Any mission completed at 11:30 pacific time / 2:30 eastern time WILL NOT REFRESH UNTIL 90 MINUTES BEFORE THE EVENT ENDS. If you complete an event after 4:00 p.m. eastern time, it will not refresh before the event ends. For final placement, the last set of refreshes is all important. You want to be grinding then. Pay attention to the time if you still want Daredevil and/or plan to keep playing the game.

Patch/OBW/Loki works, but if you mean the one with the mook auto-generating red, good luck getting enough black to pull that off before Rampage ensues and one-hits a low level Loki. How's your Hulk? He has obvious (albeit possibly unnecessary at 3x230) synergy with Patch, since Patch needs a lot of green to get those tiles up and Hulk is one of the only characters who'll survive the resulting slaughterfest for long if you're not mitigating it, while also spitting green everywhere whenever anything substantial hits him. I don't think many have his black at 5 yet, though.

Until Spider-Man gets funbalanced, clearing overleveled missions cleanly with decent consistency is mostly a matter of whether you have him at high blue or not.

Thanks for the infodump. Honestly, this one feels like a bit of a crapshoot with multiple gimmes at high base value and potentially very high multiplier (is it capping at 12 this time, or was that just confusion on my part earlier?). There's been no point anyone trying really to pull ahead under these conditions, so it's mostly coming across as a "who dares do The Who with fewest seconds left on the clock?" competition.

Edit: Business Partners and X-Men Reunion (iirc) force you to use C.Storm. Which is nice, since she's not buffed and I have her capped at 53. Her passive still helps a bit once the strike tiles start flying.

You can use Patch if you don't have Spiderman. On the Storm required mission what I do is just hit the weakest guy, Berserker Rage to kill that guy, Wind Storm to stun another guy, and then hope you kill the 3rd guy really fast before whoever you stunned gets out of that. With OBW you can often go through 10K HP in two turns after Berserker Rage is up. Just pray that OBW doesn't die in one hit (which happens a lot). If possible, try to set up something that have Patch cascade into OBW, but that's easier said than done.

I've been first all tourney. Currently ranked 8th. Should I bother grinding down my main/sub missions before the 4 PM EST deadline? Or should I just sit now and wait for the full refresh that will happen about 10 PM EST for me and just grind every one then?

I think you should grind down the larger point missions but stop with plenty of time to let them all reset for you an hour or 2 before it ends so you can do a full refresh then. In my opinion you want to be first going into the last refresh.

Have you done any this cycle? In your position, I'd probably grind until 3 pm, and then again after 11, giving you enough time to at least hit the highlights.

Been at the very top of the bracket for the entire event and I'm starting to see new names in the top 10... Leads mean nothing. I suspect despite winning 5 subs so far and being at the top throughout I will still lose the top 2 to some bander. Preparing to get mad.

Like most you guys, was in first for most of the tourney, now sitting at #6 (like 1500 behind, will make it up during last refresh) and at this point, as long as I'm top 10, don't really care.


ALSO, you guys doing the last sub-event or just doing the main mission refreshes before the end?

My sub is slow so I'm not bothering too much with it. I don't get enough rubberband points out of it. I've got a few hundred point lead on 2nd.

Might leave it alone for now so it refreshes earlier and I can play around there if need be to maintain 1st in the sub.

I'm 5th at 45641 right now in my main. First is 46274. I hope my rubberband catches up, given that I've literally been first since day one. To be fair, at least two of the top 4 are people I've been battling against for the whole time.

I'm going to try the last sub when I get home from work (want a late bracket but not the last bracket), especially because I'll probably only do a handful of matches - probably aiming for a heroic token or two. I'll put most of my effort into the main. Since it sounds like the skip tax is in, I may not be spending much time in pvp for a while.
