Hmm, traditionally main missions don't "reset" but these are giving points per 2 stack..so who knows. If they don't reset, might be worth waiting to do them later for rubber banding.. oivey

I might wait until morning. In the short time since it's been open my first one has already jumped over 130 points to 476. I'd also like an easy time in the sub tomorrow so I can finish off Patch. Decisions, decisions.

Do the unlocked missions have to be completed sequentially? Or is like the subs, where after one or two, the whole board unlocks?

After the first 2 sequentially, three more open up, and after doing one of those, 4 more open up, and I assume the rest will open up after that.
  • Man way too many missions now... Hope Thick of Thieves ends after today and we can just grind the main missions.
  • Just speculation, but if all that's unlocked is a bunch of repeatables in the main window they probably refresh points. There'll be screaming if they don't, since before the big points have been available only on the post-unlock stuff. And I assume that's carrying on here, since people doing 3 refreshes are still only somewhat topping 1000 per sub, and no one's getting any progression awards like that.

All of this is about to become close to impossible for many 230 repeat grinders who don't have Loki, anyway, since they're fixing Patch.
  • Yeah... something isn't right here.

If this map is repeatable every 8 hours for full points for 3 more days, reaching the maximum progression reward is going to be rather trivial quite quickly.

From my earlier math, only about 6k is needed from the new map at current sub-bracket pacing to reach the max progression prize. Based on Nemek's data, that's about 4 clears of the map at base value.

Given that "Cover Her" is up to 500 pts on the opening run on my screen now, the data isn't jiving well at all here with the target goals for the chapter.

Maybe they don't recover points, then. We'll just have to wait and see!

And by the way: the Hood FINALLY makes his appearance in one of the back-most missions and the map, for those of you who have not started.

That would really suck for people doing them right now.

And drats, this is the first event in which I've actually used him on my team!

It's a really good thing he doesn't have his black skill. He comes with a mutant who generates black, and that same mutant utilizes red (which neither Bullseye nor Hood uses) meaning those countdowns could go off pretty fast if part of that combo isn't broken up.

Since you mentioned the black I have to say:

OBW's espionage on black matches and steal from recon coupled with Patch's strike tiles have made my Hood's black skills a deadly damage dealer. And with that team by the time I even glance at Hood's power supply I already have enough black ap to use it twice.

Yeah, just looked in my main and the leader's already shot well past 6000.

I can't work out if Demiurge has a mathematician working for them (insanely, pointlessly convoluted scoring systems that show no regard for intuition or the fact most people like to sleep occasionally) or needs one (their insanely convoluted systems never work).

Love the OBW/Hood/Patch team for this event. 2 Ap steal sources. Even against maggia this is okay, since they generate blue which is kinda necessary for OBW to use to slow countdowns. It's also so lovely how their passives match up so each ability color is used once for ap skills (purp/blue OBW, Yellow/Black Hood, Red/Green Patch).

I had never really used any of them before this event so it has been refreshing. Hopefully events like this with different buffed characters and interesting combos will make sting of the future Mags/Spidey funbalancing hurt a little less.

My Cover Her is sitting at 500 points as well. Thinking that's the max its going to get, since its such a round number. Looking to max each mission to get the best out of the points.
  • Hell yes! Just pulled my 3rd Blue Hood with the 6500 Heroic Token progression reward.

Mine is at 600, I'm about 3900 points out of first, you?

How did you get so many points? I capped at right over 6k

    6524 for my bracket leader

Same with mine, it feels like I'm missing something, I was in first before the missions unlocked, now 8th 500 points behind jozier. I would say rubber banding had struck but he was in the top 20 before.

I just finished the mission, got 503, but was 2700 off first. Usually there's a limit to how much rubberbanding will take effect, was hoping to use that for a leg up. Had been consistently first for a while during the earlier phases of this PvE, but now, blam, 15th place .... le sigh.
