For the HT + 2 green feed node, the trick is to let them match green whenever they have at least 3 green AP (which should be pretty much always) so that they'll have more than 10 green and use Flamethrower instead of just instantly killing you with Flame Jet. They get 4 AP a turn for free, so that's 7 AP they get with any kind of green match and at 10 green AP the AI cannot use Flame Jet. Of course you still got to deal with the Flamethrower later, but it's better than immediately dying to a Flame Jet. Of course green is likely what you need for offense, but there's almost no way to survive Flame Jet once it gets on the board so you don't really have a choice there.
I'd try what you're saying(and I see why 4*Thor would be good for this) but the nodes are simply too scaled to try any shenanigans - If I'm stunning w/ Storm then I need to take the enemy out pronto and not get hit by anything, which isn't always possible vs 2 goons.
Cap can be hard to get online in terms of pure-stun.
Hulk will probably just die, though I haven't tried Hulk yet.
My Daredevil isn't decent enough to even attempt this...
Otherwise I'm just burning health packs. Could probably do the node but it'd kill my roster.
Although I'm not too worried about Hell's Kitchen since it'll scale to krutack-land anyway. Just glad I unlocked the goon-nodes.0 -

Starting Mags/Storm/Hawkeye with 6 blue and 6 purple should give you a very good chance of not getting hit by anything.0 -

Why did my sub-events disappear? I can't play Hell's Kitchen and Washington(?). They have been missing for a while now and shoild have 6-7 hours still left.0

This event is scaling really hard for me, anyone else is having trouble with this? Having a GSBW with 2 snipers feeding her green is not fun, at turn 2-3 she is firing almost 3k hits to all my team ><. If I'm lucky with the table I can destroy her without taking anymore dmg, if not she may wipe me entirely.
It's the first PvE I'm playing activily since a couple of months ago, 8h reset is helping a lot to heal my roster up and try to clear again, but I get half my 100+ 3* destroyed in one clear of the 1st subevent, the second one I gave up, I clear the essential one trying to lock up panthers black/yellow and thats all, fighting 200+ is not fun ><0 -
Holy tinykitty balls, Thunderbolt Mountain can suck it, lol. Lots of hero nodes with wolv and thor locked out, last one time Sentry node has Cap, Wolv and LThor (didn't bother, just super whaled it). 14 nodes (12 repeatable), this last sub will not be fun. It wasn't bad first pass though, but I imagine it'll be bananas next refresh.0

i was holding out hope that as they would rerun these events that d3 MIGHT actually realize that cycling the covers would be helpful. too much to hope sadly.
a 5/0/0 sentry is pretty useless. of course sentry might be thought of as useless anyway.0 -

they're too lazy to change sentry prize...they can give us daily covers thru deadpool but we can't get 1 cover at the end of a 7 day event(through a node)

This event is way easier than the last time it was run. By this time Hell's Kitchen had all normal nodes at 395 and the 2 essentials were over 320 as well this time around my highest node is only "320".0 -
For the HT plus 2 Pyros node I've been using OBW's blue to delay Flame Jet going off. I've also got mags to act as a blue battery. I've kept Mags underlevelled so that OBW continues to tank both blue and purple.0

One nice thing about the last sub being an unrelenting nightmare of ghoulish horror: it's forced me to try a few new team compositions, some of which ended up working pretty well. Daredevil is now firmly on my "B" squad of people to use in a PVE when the A squad is all beat up and I'm out of health packs.
Also, it got me prologue healing again, but that only works when they're not knocked out.0 -
^^^ Yeah, that's about the only positive I can see as well. Definitely having to think about good character combos with the wall of high-level heroes. There are still some nodes that I really cbf attempting, though. Will see how the points end up towards the end.
Only 14 hours left of this for me, so glad it's almost done. Only for Iron Fist would I spend this amount of time with the game these days. Two covers is enough, no way could I fight it out for top 10.
Looking forward to just focussing on DPDQ after this!0 -

Last time this event was run I couldn't even clear most of these nodes. Now... sure, but it takes a long time. I think I started slow clearing them as characters and h.packs allowed like 12hrs out inbetween doing other things.0 -
For anyone in my bracket, I unexpectedly hit 1k for the purple fury in hood. I no longer need it, so first is for the taking.
I'm probably just going to cruise into the top 10.0
