whats the plan for the last node wih a 2* roster? Stormneto seems too fragile, you'll stun them once even twice and they just bounce back and hit you. Ares/OBW/? or do I stick with Stormento/Hawkeye and hope for a great board?

Any advice for simulation 40? First time I've come up against Cage this strong, can do hardly any damage, easy ways around him with only 3*s?

For those with a 2* roster, I just had a little luck with the Cage/OBW/Hulk essential using Captain Marvel and Hawkeye and a Devil Dino teamup I'd been saving for a rainy day. Her yellow can generate the crits for speedshot and her red will get rid of that pesky defense tile (for a turn anyways.) I even got hulk with an electric arrow stun before a speedshot took him down into retribution range!

Not saying it'll work for everyone, but after they took down my first, second, and third choices, I just started throwing trash at them and was pleasantly surprised!

Sim 36 utterly killing me.

L250 4hor, Blade and R&G? Ouch.

Last time he pulled out Enemies Closer on turn 4, which with the 6 strike tiles out is a neat 4k or so per turn. I figure it's impossible to do if the AI gets that lucky, but came close once with Patch/Hood/Daredevil.

Any tips? I've even tried to use Whales, but despite starting with 6 purple it takes only 1 or 2 hits to down Deadpool.

For the record, I have (with boost) a L202 DD, and (without boost) L166 Punisher, Hood, Patch, Magneto, Hulk. Most other 3* between 120 and 100. Oh, and a 170 X Force.

I just finished up. Global Domination sub now has 7356 players. I was #532 to finish.

a 10 pack is worth around 50hp max in my book. Though I can see how you'd pay more if you had too many 3* covers to fill

I'd call it a break even. I had 75 HP anyway so it wasn't a huge loss. Time will tell how good a decision it really was.

But I was a little got, being that close, I just had to do it. Even if it was for a standard token. It's not often I get top 10 in anything

I wonder if the number of people who get to the Global Domination sub is a good estimate of the number of fairly serious players in the game? I would think the second sub would be difficult enough to eliminate most of the casual players. A few more casual players will get to the 3rd sub, but a few serious players don't need the event rewards so they might skip it. In any case, if you had asked me before the event, I wouldn't have guessed that 7500-ish people would get to the 3rd sub.

anyone know how many nodes in are required for the hood cover in sub 3? and who the first essential is? no idea if i can make it with my weaker roster but i'm going to try. thor/daken at 94. ares at 86 and obw at 76 and climbing (12 covers).

First Essential is Daredevil. I'm not sure exactly how many nodes you need to do though.

If you're not doing any Essential nodes you'll get the Hood after, I think, 13 fights in World Domination. I might be off by one or two, but it's before you reach the final stretch.

First essential is daredevil - if you skip through those, you'll get the Hood cover after the 12th battle (sim 40).

I think we are in the same bracket. It is now 7638 and I was #402. While talking about it with an alliance buddy, he stated there might be 2 brackets. He was 80ish in his, with 2 main and all the essentials. punisher2099 was the leader is his, while Puerto Rico was the leader in mine. I don't know how many are in his bracket. It is just another reason not to wait to try to clear Global Domination, you might jump into one where the Top 10 is already locked down. The other reason is how difficult it is to complete.

Sentry-HT-Blade or Falcon
Hulk-Patch-BP or LCap

That node I used the XF team to get through with minimal damage. Blade, R&G, then 4Thor. Got a little dicey at the end after a 10 blue cascade set off power surge, but I had been saving a surgical strike to clear her red if I needed to, so no real harm

im up to 38 and just got hood award. thank god for hulk bombing. im on a 4 hour wait now. dont know if ill finish but patch/hulk make for some fun times. win big or lose big.

That might be as far as I get.

38 just ate my lunch. When the board is coated in yellow and Mags gets shields out, Hulk bombing is very ineffective. Throw in the Doom blue teamup and here comes RotP. Good night all. Probably should have retreated when I saw the board but I don't know how to quit.

its what looks like a pause button at the top middle of the screen. it will ask if you want to retreat - you'll lose some health. then you can confirm and retreat.
