Are there any special rewards in Nevada? Otherwise I think I'm going to only do the essential.0

I've been having pretty good luck with Punisher, OBW, and Cage playing an AP denial game. They've beaten some nodes that XF/CMags/Hood can't get past.
Of course, death cascades are death cascades.0 -

Bolivia has a Punisher essential node that you have to beat Moonstone twice to get to, which means clearing Bolivia II twice. There's a Cage essential as well.
Nevada has just a Cage essential.
Edit: Nevada II is Juggernaut + sniper x2. So instead of Godlike Power alternate turns, it's Unstoppable Crash with the occasional Headbutt thrown in.
It wouldn't be so bad if the snipers occasionally used the green instead...
There is actually a second Essential in Nevada; it becomes available after you have had fun with Juggs, Ragnarok and the goons who are feeding them green. Bit of a letdown to fight your way through all that only to be unable to do that final node since I don't have Punisher.0 -
Hidden Stash: Nevada III is my current nemesis. 187 Juggernaut, 187 Ragnarok, 187 Lieutenant. The game is telling me that it is "Easy".

Gotta say...not liking the 12 hour turn around.
I set my end time for 5am, so these events end at 5am or 5pm, neither of which would be an issue if I didn't have work. Or have to sleep. So for 8 hours of one sub event I'm asleep and am missing out. Some days I sleep, then go into work so I can miss a sub-event completely.
This has drained my point flow a lot. It was okay Wednesday and Thursday when I was off work, but I worked all day Friday and Saturday and I went from 15th comfortably to about 50th simply because sub-events came and went before I could utilise them.0 -
Nevada II has eaten all of my heath packs. Can't figure out if I need to focus on Snipers or Juggernaut first, but either way, he's wiping the floor with me. Patch/LDaken/LCap couldn't do anything. CStorm/MNMag/MHawk couldn't do anything. Patch/LCap/OBW couldn't do anything. Patch/Hulk/BP couldn't do anything. I'm at a loss. I absolutely don't want to boost, but I'm also hoping to get more covers for Doom aside from his purple (currently 3/3). Anybody have any ideas?

Why wouldn't you boost on the Nevada nodes? They're fairly high level to begin with and are much harder than their level would indicate. Just get it done once so you can get to the essential at the end which is actually not that hard.0

The essential is available from the start. I already beat that. I just want to finish all of the nodes. I don't want to boost, because I'm trying to save those for the new character PVEs where I actually need to finish high.0

I've had good luck running Hulk, She Hulk and Falcon. Since I've gotten his red I've been subbing in Cage some. Plenty of offense and color coverage along with enough defense to hold off enemy strike and countdown tiles.0

Hmmm. Try Hulk in the middle, Patch on the left, Captain Marvel on the right. With those levels, Patch will probably still take a lot of the tiles, but Hulk will grab some too, and hopefully generate you some green. Captain Cutiepants...er...I mean Captain Marvel can hopefully grab a colour or two as well, even if they arent ones the team will use.
If there's a large-ish hit coming in, or a hit that might make a cascade, try and let Hulk be in the front. if there's a single shot coming in that isn't going to be detrimental to her, try and stick Captain Marvel out if it's possible (you have...red and black generation from her when she's hit with the covers you have, right?) Also use her to stun. Save up green and red for Patch to slash, slice and julienne his way through the opposition. Let Hulk do a green if the board needs an emergency shakeup.
Try and boost - + to green and black would be needed (get an early start on a Captain Stunning and a PatchySlashy). Red/Yellow not SO important, but could be useful. ignore blue/purple boost. + all damage would be awesome if you have some, but otherwise...just the +3 green/black and take along two cheap stun teamups.
The snipers are dangerous as hell but their dangerous skills are on the green tiles - hopefully, hulks green tile maker will help there. Match them away when you see them, but focus down Juggernaut first simply to stop his very cheap spamming of green/red/green/red abilities ad infinitum.
That's my take on it, anyways. I'm often wrong.0 -
Just wanna say. These tokens are a joke top 3 should net me something worthwhile in a subevent not a 2*
i stopped trying my hardest to place because ive gotten more gold covers from standards than these event tokens
also.. in all actually it erks me so much that you have a normal sub event and a hard subevent
yet rewards are the same 1st place in hard should get more than first place in normal
tho the point is moot when either way its crappola0 -

The final mission at the end of that chain is an essential (Punisher required) and is actually pretty reasonable (Moonstone, Jugg, Ragnarok). The three that leads up to it is anything but reasonable so I just boosted my way through them and don't plan on touching them again.0 -
Im Somewhat New, But Ive Been grinding It Out A Lot. does Anyone Know If Within The 1000 Player Tournies Do They Give Out Enemies Of The Same Level For All Of The Players. I Know That Other People Are In Brackets Depending On Their User Level. However, I Noticed Within My Hulk Challenge Rankings That There Is Someone With More Points Than Me And Low Level Covers That Would Get Smashed By The enemies I Have To Face. I Would Understand If They Were Beating The Missions I Have To Skip Because Of My Cover Levels. But There Is Just No Way With What He Has He Can Beat Those Lvl 113 Teams.0

Granted, I've only been playing for about three months, but I feel like this is the first time that a story fight (as opposed to a side fight) required a special character (essential) to play, and I don't have Punisher. While the story isn't crucial, I'm curious how The Hulk ends. Can anyone clue me in? Thanks!0

4 new one-shot nodes opened up in the main.
Search And Destroy I - III, and Send Osborn A Message.
II and Send are essential, Cage and Punisher respectively.
No decent rewards.
Then Message Received opens up, another essential (Punisher).
Then The Final Showdown opens up, yet another essential (Punisher).
Still no decent rewards.
No real point doing them.0 -
why is 2*Cap powered up...so much suck...need someone that'll help reduce amt of health packs needed....0

Oh my goodness, dearbluey you are amazing. Hulk/Patch/C.Marvel worked like a charm so well that I used it for the next node as well. I only recently leveled Hulk and JUST started bringing up Marvel, so I never thought to use her.

Fievel, having hulk and patch at the same level is actually great. That duo + any decent black user when a third is allowed will let you hit above your weight class pretty well. Make sure hulk is center, patch left (or if essential is set center, hulk left, patch right) Get to 3 green matches as soon as you can, cast berzerker rage. Make sure hulk is out front of all subsequent incoming hits, all of which will proc anger. Since you've got the 5 covers, its aoe damage that'll smack back for like 800 each until the BR tiles start getting match from all the green. If done right, you can get 2 sometimes 3 matches out of this combo... generally depends how fast you get to green though. Black, often being a match to keep hulk out front, is a good thing to have an outlet for as mentioned. Captain cutie-pants (I like that better tbh) is a decent choice. The other thing to chase is of course red, because if hulk goes down, having a TBTI close to being ready once he starts taking the hits can save your butt. Hope it works for you as well as it did for me. I lost the ability to run it, as I max'd patch now, and hulk is still stuck at 12/13 cards.0
