I propose limiting/removing the skip tax during any event end time beta tests, and possibly forever.0

This would be the better solution, imo. If you open it up to cross time slice attacks, the ones who play in the later time shards get to attack those who have already had a chance to climb high with less of a chance of being attacked since the previous slices have completed. Now if you make it to where you can't attack people in finished time slices, then cross-slice attacks could possibly be viable. But just opening it up indiscriminately would give an obvious advantage to those who are in later slices since they have a much larger pool to attack than previous slices did.0 -

And if they are able to be hit after their event ends, their shield will run out and people will have free reign on their points.0 -

That still gives people advantages to people who choose the middle end times, as they will have more opponents to queue for longer times than the bookend end times. The only way to keep it fair across the board is to prevent cross time-slice matching.0 -

Hello,
Thanks for all of your valuable feedback so far. A quick update on a few things.
Firstly, we believe we have fixed the issue some have reported with points not being awarded in the Hulk Event. Hopefully you have already seen an improvement. If not, you may want to try these steps:-
1) Force quit and relaunch the game.
2) Skip all the visible mission pins in the Smash Hit Event.
3) They'll be replaced with fights worth points again.
Yay! I am getting credit for my wins!0 -

"David wrote:Moore"]Greetings all,
The Hulk Smash Hit Event is underway featuring a variety of selectable Event end times - and we're seeking your feedback on the new feature.
Are you experiencing any bugs or anything unexpected? If so, please let us know in this thread. We've had a few reports of players not receiving points for battles. Has this happened to you? If so:
1) Were you asked to choose an Event end time?
2) If you chose one, had the end time you selected started yet?
3) Did anything surprising happen when you chose or began an Event?
Are things working well so far? Please let us know that too and provide general feedback.
Thanks very much!

Secondly, some players have voiced concerns about the potential timing of PVE Event end times testing. We wanted to inform you that we will not be testing the Event end times feature during the Meet Rocket & Groot episode. The current plan is for PVE testing to occur in the episode following that in early December.
Please continue to provide us with your feedback (are the fixes working for you?) and any concerns you may have with the current Event end times feature. It's very helpful. Thank you!
The fix is not working for me. Followed all the steps listed. I refreshed all nodes and just played an event that should have been worth 27 points. Zero awarded.0 -

The first event will end 18 hours before the last one so that is 18 hours that they are missing those targets if all of the first event is "shielded", and it gets worse as other events finish. The first bracket has the opposite issue. As the other events stagger in they will probably be passed most of the people joining them so they don't get to take advantage of those players in their queue, but they will still be hit by them in a cross timeslice matchmaking scenario. The people who start in the middle have a much more evened out experience since they are the middle of this staggered effect.0 -
Additional feedback: I went to bed with way above 500 points.
I woke up with way below 500 points, no message screen, no retaliations, so i absolutely have no clue, if some points simply got lost or if the entire system is buggy now.
Taking a look at the next possible matches, i get tons of matches 20 points and below, hardly ever a match 23 points and nearly no matches 25+.
Not dreaming of 30, 40, 50 points here....
With all the **** happening lately, i might not be here much longer.
I'm not a happy bunny ....0 -
Sandmaker wrote:I really don't understand why you would do this test on a Hulk event. Hulk events are terrible and low scoring in general. Nobody enjoys chewing through back to back lvl 248 Hulks with 17k HP. Not even Sentry-bombers. To make it worst the rewards are GSBW.
I'm pretty sure you're not going to get the type of feedback you were hoping to get from this event, because the effect of the endtime sharding is getting mixed up with the default lousiness of this event.
This!
If you want really good/more positive feedback please stop "trying" things out during sloggy events. With Hulk PVP and the MMR change rollout during NF I cant imagine the data being collect is all that great. I would think you would want the player base to play as much as possible to gather as much data as you need.
Good call on the GSBW rewards though, at least its not a new toon.0 -

People in later slices might only be starting out and hitting targets right near the end of their time slice - i.e. lots of sniping and high targets for them. Scores will drift up over the event meaning highest scores likely to be available at the end. Likely to make the latest time the optimal one for scoring - although probably not for placement.
Btw plenty of ppl score very high while only shielding in last 24 hrs hopping on those that started earlier....0 -
Not a fan how it automatically starts the event when you choose your seed.0

Well I'm from the UK and I thought choosing event times was a great idea, unfortunately I don't think it could be any worse.
Firstly Ive been waiting weeks for the black xforce cover to be the 1300 reward so I could finally optimally finish mine, but I'm not getting close to that score, with 8 hours to go, top score in my bracket is only 845!?!
This is compounded by the fact we have season scores, I'm gonna fall way behind anyone who can post a big score in this event. Variable end times for Pve would be fine, variable end times for non-seasonal events would be great, but having it in this event really has killed the enjoyment for me.0 -
One of the problems with using this event as a test bed is that Hulk PVPs are generally low scoring, GSBW lowers it even more, the fact that the 2* prize is more desired by a lot of people lowers it more, and the time slices lower it even more. It's impossible to say how much is due to each factor, but the next event removes one of those factors (while keeping pretty much all the others) so it'll be interesting to see if things return to closer to normal.0

As 2* player I noticed it's much more harder to climb. I've been facing equal teams from near start, around 400 I'm getting people with 120+ 3* and nicely build Hulk, sometimes even seeing 166s already. I barely managed to reach 500, literally every match I done I also faced retaliation, had to shield at 520 (!) just to not get thrown down to 400 (got 5 retals in 10 minutes after I shielded and few more later). I can't even dream of getting 600 now. I was hoping it will be bit easier with the timezones, but instead it's bloodbath, all over really **** reward. Top scores are definately lower (half hour till end nr1 is <1100, top10 is at 733), but there seems to be cramped even more people in between. Being forced to shield for t100 is not fun, and I can't even imagine what it will be when it actually have decent reward.0

I was really excited to not have to stay up until 1 am to get a good ranking, but now I'm wishing to go back to one global event end time. I'm a 2->3* transition player and I'm hitting the wall of maxed or near-maxed 3*s at 400 points. I was really counting on getting to 600 points for the hero points. Please, go back to one end time until you can find a solution to the MMR problem.0

Everything worked fine for me!0
