Event End Times Feedback Request - Hulk 'Smash Hit'

Greetings all,

The Hulk Smash Hit Event is underway featuring a variety of selectable Event end times - and we're seeking your feedback on the new feature.

Are you experiencing any bugs or anything unexpected? If so, please let us know in this thread. We've had a few reports of players not receiving points for battles. Has this happened to you? If so:
1) Were you asked to choose an Event end time?
2) If you chose one, had the end time you selected started yet?
3) Did anything surprising happen when you chose or began an Event?

Are things working well so far? Please let us know that too and provide general feedback.

Thanks for all of your valuable feedback so far. A quick update on a few things.

Firstly, we believe we have fixed the issue some have reported with points not being awarded in the Hulk Event. Hopefully you have already seen an improvement. If not, you may want to try these steps:
    1) Force quit and relaunch the game. 2) Skip all the visible mission pins in the Smash Hit Event. 3) They'll be replaced with fights worth points again.

Secondly, some players have voiced concerns about the potential timing of PVE Event end times testing. We wanted to inform you that we will not be testing the Event end times feature during the Meet Rocket & Groot episode. The current plan is for PVE testing to occur in the episode following that in early December.

Please continue to provide us with your feedback (are the fixes working for you?) and any concerns you may have with the current Event end times feature. It's very helpful. Thank you!

    first bug that happened to me and others based on the event thread is not being able to choose the last time slice due to a scrolling bounceback issue.

    It would be nice if choosing a time didn't automatically put you into a bracket. I usually like to open an event right at the beginning to see the rewards/lock in a few seed teams. Now I can't do that without choosing a time and putting me in a bracket.

    I was placed in bracket as soon as event time started because I chose end time yesterday. It should have been communicated that bracket is set once you choose start time.

    This is beta but issues like this should have been foreseen and communicated

    I played 2 round, but i cant get any points.

    I am also not posting any points and yet people in my tournament are icon_e_sad.gif. I have done at least a half a dozen fights at this point and it shows me getting the points and the reward on the screen after the fight, then I do not receive the reward, and my points remain zero.....

    So, I picked my event end time (I chose the standard ending time of 1am EST Friday night/Saturday morning.

    And It just became active 18 minutes ago.

    I haven't done a match or anything, but I'm already placed in a bracket.

    Was this intended? I typically don't start until 20 hours before the end of PVP. That way I avoid the 2500 point titans that start the second the PVP is available.

    As it stands now, I may as well just play, yea? I mean, if there is no longer seeding advantages to waiting, I don't see why I wouldn't just take my time and ease my way up the boards, rather than hit 1400 in 18 hours.

    Am I getting this right?

    Everythings fine by me. PC steam playe. Just won match, points added. Please devs, incorporate this end-time selection for every event soon!

    Everything is going fine with me too. Picked the timeslot that started immediately last night. Played some rounds today and got rewards and points without issue.

    Steam player here and getting the same.

    Played one match; got 27 points and the first progression reward (25pt standard token).
    Played 3~5 more matches; after match tally shows points increase, but actual points never added into total scores (neither the event, nor the cumulative season score) and further progression rewards not given.

    Event is broken. This one can go back to the drawing board to be fixed.

    Also, as some players are able to score points just fine and other players' scores are 'stuck', this issue is clearly not one of those issues that 'affect the entire playerbase' as Customer Support so often likes to use as an escape hatch. Therefore, if this issue is not fixed in a timely manner, I'm expecting compensation for the affected players.

    when I choose an end time last night the red icon_exclaim.gif stayed up until my time slot opened up. I had already done lightining rounds so it is just a glitch with the Beta test. Once I select an end time the red icon_exclaim.gif should go away until my time slice starts.
    Also I would have liked to know that by choosing my time slot I would be placed into a bracket. Those little details are nice to know going forward.

    I chose the second end time - 10pm CET for me - and then entered the tournament. Surprisingly, I was already listed as #16 before playing my first match. I have played a couple of matches now, but none of these counted towards my progress. I didn't get the rewards - standard token for 25 - either. Also, I am still listed as ranking - currently #30 but still with 0 points. Please fix this NOW because I really want the rewards and this is not only damaging me but also my alliance.
    Btw, I am playing on mobile with the latest iOS8 version and a fully updated game app.

    I have not started yet because I've read about a few bugs on here and I want to give them a bit af time to get fixed.

    The main reason though is that I'm not sure I understand everything properly. How it was explained and how it appears don't seem to match up to me. Few things I'm unclear on.

    So my first feedback suggestion would be to post a detailed description/explanation of how everything will work. Preferably in game announcement so players that don't use the forum will see it also.

    Joined the 7pm EST bracket only seed teams awarded points towards the total any other matched 4 or 5 awarded 0 points, leaderboard appears to be frozen at points so that's my best guess is only seed teams in most cases are awarding points in the bracket.

    My first match didn't count towards my score. I thought it was lag and that it would appear later, but it didn't.

    Picked my time, played two games and didn't get the points or token.

    Aside from the inability to select the final start time due to scrolling issues, I've had no problems. Bracketed immediately but figured that was intended.

    3. Unlike what I'm seeing reported from others, I can't start my event yet. I chose the 2am local end time and I now have an "Event In: XXh YYm" banner on the event card.
    So while I generally applaud D3 for coming up with this and beta testing it, I think they need to refine the end times a bit better to accommodate people in odd time zones

    Android user. Updated to r65. Chose the 6pm end time. Everything seems to be working. However i was not paying much attention. Went back to look and everything appears to be fine except for the aforementioned red (!) Notifying a new event. Lr is closed and waiting for next to start.
