Picked 10 pm CET, finally a viable option, yay!

Not thrilled to be bracketed when picking an end time, but we're all in the same boat there.

Waited 12 hours, played my first matches now, points are added correctly.

I'm disappointed that PVE is still the same end time though.

I think the timeslots are a move in the right direction. However, could we get the ability to see the prizes up for grabs in these events before choosing a timeslot/being bracketed? It would really help everyone figure out if/when they might want to start an event, especially if they want additional time to be able to play and meet targeted progressions.

Maybe have the timezone question prompt right before you start a match? That would allow us to see the rewards while also allowing bracketing us at a later point in time, which people have been bringing up.

I chose a start time of 7 in the morning. Other than that, nothing special happened.

But now I get to play the end of the tournament BEFORE work, instead of having to sneak time before my coffee break!

First off, thanks, I love being able to pick my own end time. I picked the 12am Sat. time, played a few seed teams and can care less about what bracket I got placed in. With the prize being GSBW it's not like the brackets are all going to be 1600 for top 5. Which, is also why it's a good thing that new characters are released in PVE.

Just to say in advance this feedback relates to higher scoring players which I appreciate is a small part of the total population....

Not a big issue yet but I think people will struggle to find good value targets a little later once there is more shielding going on due to the effecive pool being split into 5. So chances of stumbling across a high value target once you are at 900+ pts will be a lot lower than before - at least without wasting thousands more iso on skips.

Whilst this beta will give some good information, you might also want to think about the behavioural impact for future events if it stays in place. In particular top alliances and scorers are likely to cluster in cerain time slices - leaving potentially big differences in points in each time slice and probably even more soft brackets and "death" brackets.

Actually I am intrigued to know whether bracket sharding is still operating as this could be a double whammy - high scorers all go for the last time slot and then get sharded together from that much smaller pool. Obviously on the flip side it could make placement rewards easier for players in earlier time slices.

I joined the 2nd time slot, was able to earn points up to 52 pts, but now I'm not getting any points. I think my first couple matches were seed teams and those added in correctly

Just wondering, is this a beta test event also, like the Nef Foes?

If so, instead of a 250 iso event token, (FYI, I got 2 Wolverine on one account, and Moonstone on the other 2), how about a free roster slot instead. If you guys are feeling generous that is. Since this has been a big topic lately on the forum, I thought it might be a good idea.

Okay I'm not happy at the moment as I've had to shield at under 200 points as I have hit a wall of 200+ x force and 166 Thor. I believe this is because I managed to enter the lowest end time at the bottom of the list and not many others did. As a result of this I feel I will be unable to get any progression awards.

I will update if it becomes any better.

Ok I apologies I may have been a bit early to complain as it seems to have evened out a little now, maybe it was just a shortage of players in the beginning. Thanks for testing the event end times as it means I no longer have to stay up until 5/6 am just to secure my spot

I'm on an iPhone 5s running iOS 8. I played a few matches right when I joined since I was put in a bracket already and earned a little over 100 points. Came back an houror so later and I was at zero points again and showing no progression rewards earned. Played again and it registered my first 25 points but not the 38 points for the next match that I had won. No matter what I do now I'm stuck at 25 points. This is really messed up to do during a season.

How did you manage to select that time slot? Or does the bug not affect certain platforms?

Also, no need to shield at under 200 points - point losses are next to nothing.

It was possible if you moved it as far as you could and then tapped it as you let go. I thought if every matbh is going to be maxed out I just didn't want to lose what I already gained no matter how small lol

I just want to express my deepest sympaties to developers that are atleast trying to fix the biggest issue in this game - end times.
Yes there are issues as we can all see, but this time, the effort is pleasible.

This is definitely a step in the right direction, so much appreciation to the devs.

I haven't been able to enter cos I want the last time slot and can't select it due to scrolling issues. I'm using an iOS device.

Other than that, would be great to see the rewards prior to selecting an end time

I'm only picking up points sporadically. Done about 5 matches and received points for 3 of them

Like others, this one did not really present much choice for end time variance. I'm located on the east coast, so everything is in EST for me.
1AM EST, which is the 'regular' end time, is what I opted for.

Other times and how they work for me.
4AM - This is a time I feel no one should ever be awake. It's too late to still be up, and too early to wake up.
7PM EST might have worked, I'm usually home, could play toward the end of it, and might be the choice for the weekend events.
4PM - also might be good for Sunday endings, but tough on a Friday... there is happy hour to contend with after all.
10AM - nope. Working.


Issue I'm having is I was bracketed immediately (ok, whatever, not the best but so be it) after joining. I joined at about 3 PM EST today, so the event was already up and running. Fought a few fights... and I have 27 points.
It's even showing me that I hit the 50 point progression, but I don't get the reward, and my points never increase. Just stuck at 27 like I was after winning my first match.

Yes, I agree with this 100%. Many of us choose to join at specific times, because it greatly affects the top scores, and now we're all placed in brackets where that's not possible.

I am also not receiving points. Stuck at 98. One positive is that every match I play, I supposedly break 100 so I keep getting the progression reward. Now only if I could go above 30 all colour AP boosts.

Seems to be working fine so far for me. I selected an end time of 15:00 GMT on Friday this week so that I don't have to stay up late losing sleep just to get one blasted cover.
