    Ummm... 3 health packs as daily reward. 1 for a progression reward. Out of health packs, and 3 nodes remain uncleared. What made you think putting horribly slow characters together like this would be fun for anyone? Everything is scaled to my 4/3/1 Gsbw, which means I'm getting my clock cleaned every other node. If not wiping on daken s overpowered blue, it's a win with just a few hp.

    This is most disappointing just due to the fact that one blue lcap cover would help my pve experience a lot in future events. Not being able to overwrite countdown tiles with blue or red is the pits. I'm honestly not even sure I'll be able to squeak out even a single cover in this setup. Miserable event, worse with this restricted roster.

    And LCap will be required for Essential nodes in the next PVE...

    But I still feel that alot of the complaints by forumites are valid, and it kind of bugs me when the logical and valid complaints are written off as whining. Just because the Dev's are doing some things right doesn't mean they aren't doing some things wrong. They knocked it out of the park on Anniversary Weekend and kudos to them. Thank you for a very fun weekend.

    But now how long should I refrain from complaining about the screw ups because of this success? Is this some kind of screw-up insurance which says "Because MPQ succeeded in an event, you cannot complain about anything MPQ related for at least X days?"

    No, your concerns are perfectly valid and they obviously still have a ways to go in terms of communicating with the players. So I guess the optimal way for Demiurge to handle this event would have been:
    1. A week before October 3rd, announce "Hey, it's almost our anniversary! We have a an anniversary week event planned with goodies STARTING OCTOBER 10TH
    2. Change the current popup to "Double iso all week long, culminating in a weekend where you get a chance to earn devil dino and anniversary tokens!", moving said events to the end of the week as opposed to the beginning.

    That would definitely have been a much better way of running this week, and would have stopped say 50% of the complaints going on. I still think it's a little crazy that everyone is so riled up about this (*points to general discussion*) especially since it kinda feels like looking a gift horse in the mouth, but meh. My comments were more directed as the people who think that this week is all of the sudden terrible and unredeemable after today (*points to general discussion*).

    Thank you for the kind words for someone you don't 100% agree with. If only the forums can have more of that. The least I can do is respond in kind.

    No matter how anyone feels about the current state of the Anniversary Week, the Anniversary Weekend was a complete and total success. D3 could have just had an event with Dino as a reward and be done with it. The double ISO is awesome and I have added almost 40 levels to my X-Force. But one thing above all else stands out to me. The change of prizes for the Anniversary packs. Adding ISO and HP rewards was genius. Please do something similar for Heroic packs.

    Like I tell my children when I have to punish them - If I didn't love you, I wouldn't care what you do. I only complain because I want what is best for the game and it's players, because I know it can be great.

    Damn, I shouldn't have dumped all that ISO recently in getting my fully covered GSBW to 138 - now the cost of the pushed up scaling will probably far outweigh the benefits of her extra levels in this event.

    Apparently this is how packs used to be. They just changed it back.

    I agree with the general sentiments that expectations should be better managed for the playerbase. I also thought this past weekend was great, and was really looking forward to a week of more of the same... but was disappointed today. But that was just a matter of expectations. Similarly when basically nothing happened on Oct. 3, even though they said that was the anniversary... But that was just a matter of expectations. (Oct. 3 should have never been mentioned anywhere - just Oct. 10.)

    I have a feeling the group will not be planning a major con showing and a major event / anniversary to happen simultaneously in the future. It's pretty clear they haven't had the time or ability to respond, and I'm not sure they will. But hopefully for year 2 they will have it under control.

    Couldn't agree more. For the past few months it seems like no matter what happens there are people here complaining about it. Just chill out and try to have some fun, guys.

    Cleared it once, looking for the fun??? (I think Venom kidnapped that too) With full roster this would be fine but a handfull of B players to get ravaged by daken is not very fun to me. Will hit a few more for iso but other than that will wait for LR.

    Some of you top players should let others have those Lcap covers IMO

    BWGS, Thor, Mohawk are my only team. Going to clear essentials and see if I can finish everything else once. The best thing about the Heroic is if you can just do the essentials you can usually finish all the progressions. Since I am using Mohawk I am going to try and use up some of my TU's. I have 13 covers for her but very little ISO.
    By the way Sniper rifle buffed is preety Awsome. Thunderstrike to Sniper rifle= SKADOOSH!!!!! icon_cool.gif

    Also thank you dev's for the Heroic not including anybody I am planing on using in Combined Arms of BOP. This will allow me to kill off these characters and not use health packs on the PVE.

    Funny you should say that. Towards the last 15 minutes of Deadpool I was ranked 21st. I checked the rewards page and the only difference between 20th and 21st was one GSBW cover. Would have been just another 500 ISO, and I said to myself, "ISO is flowing like wine, let some one else have the extra cover."

    Ugh, my Beast and Ororo have too few covers to be useful, yet all the nodes are scaled to my 5/3/3 GSBW. Who tanks red and green for Thor despite being way squishier than him, and conflicts with him on green. My LazyCap is fully covered, so I'd be tempted to skip the event altogether, except I want the GSBW purple.

    I think I'll have to bite the bullet and buy a roster slot for Hawkguy. He seems to be required for a lot of these limited-roster events.

    Yeah, I have a 2/3/3 GSBW (level 65 ATM) a 3/4/5 MoStorm (also 65 because MoStorm) and a 1/0/2 Beast (so, no.) I do have a leveled Thor and Cap, but not a MHawkeye (he's covered, but only at 41.) I've managed a single clear so far, but man, some of those nodes are tough. I'm going to hold off for a bit, I'm at 14 in my bracket and I may as well let rubberbanding work for me.

    I just need one blue LCap cover to max him out, so I want it. I an also use the purple GSBW cover, but one will lead to the other I'm sure. It's a very Meh event, it's true.

    Is there any reward for completing the last node? Maybe like 2k or 5k iso or something? I've yet to unlock the last 2 nodes. Really don't feel like fighting a daken and yelena backed up by morale boosts especially when I do no damage. What are the last 2 nodes anyway?

    I've only been doing the 3 essentials and the 4 super easy nodes yet it seems I am climbing steadily. I started out at rank 100, but I am up to 30 now. I am not losing my place while the 2.5 hours go by either. I'm thinking a lot of people quit this event? Top 10 would be nice.

    Interference: Rags, Daken, Bullseye
    Rescue Mary Jane: Venom, Daken, Rags

    No special reward as far as I can see.

    I tried to clear the last node the first clear and didn't manage it. Now I'm skipping all three Daken nodes tbh, I hate Chemical Reactions chained together like candy.

    Might start skipping the Venom, Moonstone and Rags node later tomorrow, they'll be a nightmare scaled higher :S

    At first I was annoyed like everyone else: Not a great lineup, another Heroic, etc. But after my second clear through most nodes, I'm pretty high in my bracket and I should have the 25k progression reward tomorrow.

    Then I thought about it more, as a transitioning player, I actually prefer these 2-3 grind PvEs...I can usually finish top 10, though do to life stuff tomorrow I'll probably only finish top 20 this time. Add an alliance cover and (hopefully either Cap red or yellow next event for progression) and I'm grabbing 5 covers for characters I need, plus TONS of Iso/decent tokens...every 2-3 days. All for the low low price of 0 HP in shields.

    I'll gladly take another 2-3 day event to end anniversary week if it means I can add another 4 covers to a character that needs them (most of them).

    Is this event broken? I remember that last time it felt that way too. My team does almost no damage with matches and the AI team wipes mine out over and over with characters half my team's level. Didn't even make it halfway through before all my guys were dead.

    I don't mind the challenge that heroics provide, but this seems futile and frustrating.

    Ugh, how much I wish they gave us a decent option to counter those. Falcon, Doc Ock, Captain Marvel, heck even Spiderman! Stupid HEROICS!!!
