If it makes ppl feel better, ppl who grabbed the extra hulk early didn't get a third. No biggie, I am considering 4/4/5, 5/4/4, and 4/5/4 all as possible builds. So the lack of a 5th green gives me more time. Sad no lightning rounds to give me stuff to do waiting in lines n sh*t tonight but o well.

Gosh 4 sub-events is just too much to grind. That's like 5*5*4=100 missions every 8 hours.

Yeah, this is where I burnt out the first time too. Four submissions is simply too much. Honestly, I think two with 4-6 missions each is too much.

Random question since I don't remember from the first time around. Event notes say the Gamma pack becomes available once the Hulk is unlocked. Does anyone remember if they showed up during the 4 sub mission stretch or after the bonus subs were done?

By the way, running this grind fest is evil during the holiday. Even with the necessary breaks to build points back up, it takes an inordinate amount of time to grind out all the points. I missed a punisher cover by about 150 points last time, so now I'm paranoid about leaving too many points on the board. The end result of all of this may very well be a divorce, as my wife hasn't been exactly supportive of all the 'breaks' I took while visiting relatives over the holiday... Managed to finish the first run in the top 300.

I think a lot of people bailed on this event during this wave. I was able to place in the top 200 in all 4 events without even really grinding them.

Yeah, definitely seems like fewer people are pushing, which suits me fine since I'm traveling and have less time to play. Feel bad for those that want Punisher cover, though

Yeah, got 2 200s, 1 400 and 1 600 with very little grinding so happy about that.

But right now looking at only two events on the screen is weird (haven't opened the subs yet for today).

Top 100 in each. Started this morning and did each mission once. Then hit top scoring missions to maintain top 100. Didn't event exhaust any missions. I'm still 10k away from#1 so It should be the same for the next round.

I'll grind in the last two days to get as close to top as possible for main.

Grinded far more than I want to talk about...

Top 100, Top 600 x2, Top 800 or 1000 (forget which; 3x standard token level).

#38 overall, which is down from #12 for the last end point.

I cannot recall if we're doing better than the first round or not. I want to say no, but I just passed 30k total, and 60% of my total points so far were from one sub in the last round (whichever one was the last one; I forget). So... maybe Punisher is reachable?

It will depend on those people up at the top. If the top 5 are grinding their brains out, then rubberbanding will take care of the rest. I dunno how the top scores of this event compare to the last one so far. The average score definitely seems to be lower.

I skipped a bunch of play days this time around, only really played this last cycle to try to get all the 500 iso rewards. Still ended up at top 100 by the end of the last cycle.

I'm kind of trusting that there is that one guy out there who is just determined to get his Pun cover this time and is going balls to the wall to get it. I'm hitting the top couple stacks of all of the high point missions each recharge and just gonna let "that guy" drag me along. One Pun cover isn't worth more effort than that IMO

Edit: And although the 500 iso rewards and tokens are nice, they aren't worth grinding for either. I could grind 500+ from the widow event in the same amount of time it takes me to get 20iso, 20iso, Hammer boost, 20 iso, 20 iso, 20 iso, 100 iso, 20 iso, 20 iso, 500 iso. Ha. Not worth it

Of what grind are you guys talking about? Can't you just do all missions only 3 times a day? If you have all high level characters already, doesn't that amount to something like 3 hours a day to do all these missions, maybe? It's hardly a lot of time...

Doing every mission in every sub-event, 5 stacks, 3 times a day. Its not that it's not doable, its just not worth it since rubber banding will keep us in top spots with half the work or less. And it's rather boring I think

Er, you can do each mission for points about 5 times, then it resets roughly 8 hours later.

In the last group of subs, with 4 sub missions available, and an average of 5 missions per sub, that was 4*5*5*3 = 300 matches.

My rough guess for a weekend (2 day) tournament is ~50 matches to be near the top. So that's a LOT more in about the same amount of time. No, I didn't do anywhere near that much.

Some of the missions are easy (3x L25 HAMMER minions for example) and I could do those in under a minute. Some are not so easy... like this morning when I was playing the L230 Rag, L230 Punisher, and L200 Minion and my Wolverine got headbutted about 3 turns in (actual mental though -- hrm, should I stun Punisher? Nah, the AI will use Rag. Oh ****.). It takes awhile to wear down 35k of health with just Spidey and a low level Hulk (they were stunned the entire time, otherwise I would've lost).

Yesterday it was easy to keep in the top 100 by just doing 'Our Big Hitters'. 2k, 1.8k, etc. Then running through and grabbing the 500 ISOs. It's been a very relaxing event. Loving me the easy ISO.
