Well, my mHawkeye is level 15, so I don't think I'll risk that. Hulk did nearly get killed both times I attempted that node; from now on I think I'll stick to Hulk+someone who has a chance if Hulk does get bitten to death. (And no, I'm not counting Beast as that someone.)
In trying out different team compositions, I just ran Spidey-IM40-Hood against Thor. It worked, though it was extremely slow, and the AP drain for using IM40's abilities has got to go.0 -
is a lvl 200+ thor that difficult to take down? i've noticing it dropping from lvl 221 to now lvl 217, I guess people are skipping it. I have no issue with it at all, just bring obw and keep his ap in check.
the bigger problem is with the rising scaling in the hard nodes such as deadpool and dino. While I Can continue to win each battle, I have no choice but to at least take 1-2 dino hits rendering a must use health pack after each fight.0 -
I have sentry hopped Dino Devil and the Deadpool world. You can just take too much damage from both of those teams. Dino Devil does 3k damage for 6AP? I am glad I am getting it as a TU though!!0

I think they keep on throw those Devil Dino nodes to see if the game is broken because if people can beat it then the game is obviously broken.
The setup of that team has extreme preference on green tiles, which happens to be the color you need to do most attacks. While you do get to move first, any other available green will tend to be taken by the AI and sometimes you can get like 2 Prehistoric Bites in 4 turns with 1 green match (if they started out with 1 green AP, they generate 8 AP from the goon + 3 AP for a green match). It feels like they're still stuck in the Spiderman days, even though that node would still be pretty hard without boosts even with Spiderman. With boosts nothing is particularly hard but I thought they're trying to phase them out with the whole TUs replacing boosts deal.0 -

I have no issue taking two dino bites, the problem lies when I exhaust my loaded 2-3 skills onto dino then be facing 2 goons both with sniper rifle that deals 3800+ dmg. Even boosted I get wiped. Really comes down to board luck. I havent tried a boosted sentry/daken combo just yet. Maybe that will be the only team that works for the reminder of the mission0 -

I went to use Sentry and I boosted and got a horrible board. I got 0 green matches and had 3 Dino bites I should have just retreated when I saw the board and taken the damage. After the 1st bite I figured I would need a health pack anyway so I tried to save it but to no avail. At least community scaling went down0 -

well for me whats worse was going up against falcon/obw/marvelc at level 170+, board was so bad, by the time I could pull off world rapture, ares/ldaken both was dead. with 2k left. I thought I could finish it, only to be stopped by falcon's perfectly timed purple..argg. result. 3 health packs0 -

I've had pretty good luck with Lcap & Spidey. Lock down the dino as best you can as fast as possible and let lcap beat him while targeting sniper CD tiles. I took zero bites and one sniper round last time.0 -
1st round of subs end tonight yes? Or did I miss the 1st round celebrating 6 awesome years with my special someone?0

Tomorrow. They're all 2.5 days long.0 -
Fury is really good as a single killer. Demolition took out Thor for me.
Triple Deadpool was... a little iffier. Cascade worked against me. Still won but don't look forward to higher levels.0 -

I agree that node with Falcon/OBW/Capt Marvel is brutal. I always target OBW first and then falcon, but with an occasional Aggressive Recon and Purple from falcon it's tough. Then you throw in Captain Marvel absorbing any damage and then photon blasting you, it's 1-2 health pack minimum fight.
I have found myself burning through all but 1 of my health packs doing a run through the hard sim and then the "easy" sim isn't a whole lot better. This is a tough PVE event..0 -

I have used Patchneto+ Ldaken for Falcon/OBW/Capt Marvel. Might as well abuse CMags while you can. I have been using Sentry for the Deadpool level dino devil and hood Lthor.0 -
When the Magneto gutting goes through, that may completely disrupt this event - a few people may be un- or under-equipped to deal with the scaling all of the sudden. Hopefully it won't be too disruptive, but I could see it happening.0
-
If people can't beat them, the scaling will go down, won't it?
How is the rubberbanding on the subs?0 -
On another Note I am sick of 2 Subs at the same time. It puts a lot of strain on the roster and the Healthpacks plus the last minutes placement rush is insane.
Worst of all you HAVE to do well in both because BOTH contribute to the overall score. Who are they kidding with Normal and Hard when you need to do both anyway.
What they need to do is space them out so they end times don't coincide with each other. For 24 hour subs you could start the Normal Sub at hour 0 and start the Hard sub at hour 12 and so on so every 12 hours one sub finishes instead of 2 at once every 24 hours. For 60 Hour subs you could start the second at the 30 Hour mark. I know having them end simultaneously has its advantages but its a complete mess logistically.0
