Congrats, Phantron. We kept trading off 1st and 2nd over the last few days, but you pulled ahead at the end. I had all my nodes at full points with an hour to go, and cleared most of them 2-3 times, but still couldn't catch you. Well done.

Thanks. I think I started out with a decent lead (2000 maybe?) at the end of the second sub. From my estimation the top end scores at the end of the third sub was likely tied for that sub since the Magneto nerf makes it almost impossible to grind away every 2H 24M (you'd run out of health pack first unless you're buying more of them), and in the absence of 'every cycle every 2H 24M' grinding the rubberband will ensure roughly equal final scores so my lead should hold at the end. I think I got most of my points from the normal sub this time, because hard was getting awfully risky outside of the 3 essentials. I did almost all the nodes on normal every pass whenever I played and that may have been the difference.

Everyone kinda gave up toward the end so I didn't play for the last hour or so. Ended at 201k with the runners up at 189k 186k 186k 183k.

Managed to pull top 2 every sub, got 1x loki 1x punisher (both useless to me) and 16x 2 stars.

Placed 20th despite barely playing the hard subs thanks to my **** 3* roster. And now that roster is less **** - the Thor covers bring him up to level 102, making him my first 3* character to advance past the capped 2* fighters. Woo-hoo!

Good event and rubberbanding. I was able to get about 40K points last night from less than 2 full refreshes on both subs. All my nodes were 2K to 4K. I skipped 2 days of the event (completely missed subs before last) and was at about 86K and then start both subs yesterday and finished at 122K. 40th place. Not too bad considering I didnt really try.
  • great PvE

thanks to my alliance we just made top 100 and also finished 1st over all with 195k points. grabbed nick fury and 4 Lthor covers. of my last 6 token from placing 1st in both nodes I managed to pull another IW and Xforce. pretty stocked now that xforce is a top tier character. Over all I actually pulled two IW and two Xforce a Ldaken and Sentry from 20 tokens.

This is a good PvE in terms of balance since I was able to hold my lead right till the end despite only able to hit the 3 essential hard nodes with over a day left. Tells me rubberbanding isnt destroying my lead as it did from the Beast event PvE. I never once skipped sleep either.

This is really the best PvE.

30 nodes of fresh teams, heavy scaling, rotating essentials and adequate but not game altering rubberband. So much better than stale stories fighting Rags/Jug/Daken/Yelena until your eyes bleed.
  • Went well for me. I played it pretty casually, still got top 20, got at least one token each time, and some HP about half the time, and got a bunch of ISO for my trouble, plus a Beast cover. I imagine the next one will be the usual new character obsessive-grindfest, but I like being able to take it easy from time to time.
  • It was a fun Pve with a high rubberbanding. We made it 2nd as an Alliance. Everyone in "ThePunishers" grind hard till the end icon_cool.gif

Those guys from "rus58" really push hard, Congratulations for them as well

It was hell... the guy in first was uncatchable and needs to be sandboxed, and me and one other guy behind him spent 3 hours griding and swapping leads. Ended up in 2nd just 600 ahead of him. His score probably would've won most brackets.

The PvE was cool. Never felt like I took a PvE so lightly in which I actually participated. Last two sets of subs, I just rode rubberbanding to top 50 for the single yellow I needed. The rest of the covers just got sold off.

Yeah I liked this event and the only reason I did this PVE from the start was because I knew there would be no nodes that opened up in the main bracket. At least in this PVE, if you built up a lead early on, then you had a good chance of keeping it to the end.

Also, I had fun using nearly my entire roster but for really tough nodes, it was mostly Sentry + two other characters that would take damage away from Sentry while waiting for World Rupture to countdown. Daredevil actually made it into games against level 300+ enemies since he tanked purple and was even lucky enough to kill an opponent with his red. icon_e_smile.gif
