"Normal" Mode pretty much wiped out all my top tier guys. I don't even want to think about Hard Mode! Yikes!

Deadpool - Deadpool - Deadpool node is AWESOME.... icon_lol.gif

As hard as that will get, it's still funny to me for some reason....
  • There are at least 4 nodes that wiped the entire team I was using so I had to try again. There are some hard combos for sure, but I managed to clear through everything. Long clear time on this one... not like the 'run through it in 20 min and set a 2hr timer' fare we've seen so much of.

I thought the obw/falcon node was the hardest as I couldn't get any ground on it in the first go-round, what with the ai cascading it gobs of blue/purple, and they just whittled me to death. Then I tried Magne-storm, and made short work of it. Not going to be fun when it scales tho.

Just lost to level 111 shulk+goons node with maxed out punisher and nearly maxed panther and cmags because of ridiculous tinykitty cascades. I didn't even have time to get the infinite blue going. I just sat there, watching shulk get two 40 ap cascades in 3 turns, reprieved all the damage i did, and got power of attorneyed which then made more cascades, and more powers of attorney. Don't care what anyone says, that's some cheating tinykitty. D3 can squat on a cactus.

Hold on...so you're allowed to have infinite blue moves via cmags while the CPU is not allowed to have cascades? Doesn't sound fair now, does it?

That one is actually not going to increase much in difficulty if you can keep him from Purple. :0 Daredevil oddly enough was exactly who I needed to faceroll that fight while Patch tanked the ALOTTs. I one shot them with TBTI or Ambush for now. Guess I'll see how high they'll scale before it's a problem.

In last pve I ended out of top150 although I played very consistently but wasn't able to play the last 6h.

In this one I won't be able to play at the end too. So, there's no point to hurry, I'll join later.
Of course I'll play because simulator is one of the funniest pve but quietly without putting too much hope in ranking and reward...
  • Haven't had a chance to get started yet, is the last node of each sub non-repeatable? I seem to think I remember that from last time this came around but I could also be hallucinating.

I think you might be hallucinating.

IIRC, it was repeatable the first time the Simulator ran but hasn't been since.

Going from memory, here, but I think there's one node in each sub towards the end that only has one reward, and one node with a team-up that is non-repeatable.

Nice. My Lazy Thor is maxed, so I can play this one for fun and stop when the scaling gets too nasty.

The RNG is seriously having me on, though. Yesterday it gave me a totally useless Heroic 10-pack, today it gave me a blue Spriderman and a green Lazy Storm from standard tokens. Random draw is random.
  • One clear through of both subs took all of my health packs and every character I have over level 90. Level 60s are wiping me. I'm going to dial back just to save my sanity.

The last node only has 1 reward. You can repeat it all you want, but you're not going to get anything besides the points and the 20 Iso for the win. Only the Team Up is non-repeatable...ablublelebable...non-repeatable almost doesn't seem real or make sense....

Meh, I was just venting. I just figure there should be no way in hell for a character like shulk and 2 goons on defense to beat the most offensively op guy in the game and two other strong characters, but I was definitely overreacting.
  • The next observation i garnered is that if you push through all the nodes in normal/hard, switching out all your characters as best you can, using health packs only when you absolutely have to... by the time the nodes refresh there will only be 2-3 healthpacks refreshed. At least that was my experience.

The next observation after that was that playing slowly inbetween watching tv, the nodes may very well be refreshed by the time you make it through everything. heh.

... and someone complained about health packs in the last events? lulz

The last Event wasn't bad, mostly because of Patch. With a good Patch you could do a complete sweep with 1-2 Healtpacks.

Doing the initial Node in the main won't put you into a bracket since it doesn't have a point value, is that right?

That's probably what they're aiming for in the first place because if your health pack don't ever run out why even have them?

For Simulator you usually want to avoid the non essential nodes after the first round because they're usually very hard and you'd never have enough health packs to go through them all. It's a good time to bring out your lesser characters though since anything they happen to win is a nice bonus.

I didn't think it was bad either after I made some adjustments after the first couple runs. I did see more than a few complaints about it, as well as about BoP.

Add in the fact that all of the Deadpools are 5/5/5 and the average player will see epic amounts of "Cool Story bro" after almost every attack with triple maxed out Life of the Party.

Funny how all of these awkward skills magically work well when the perfect Simulator setup is created to highlight those skills....
