It doesn't look like it to me. Done two refreshes, first ranked in the 300's, second in the 200's with one just about to come up in the 100's and the points look to be about the same.
No red deadpool for anybody if this continues. Thanks for nothing D3. You really think people gonna be motivated for a 3* bagman. Pretty sure that would help your servers.0 -
My Alliance has made this one optional, and I cannot be bothered to play it enough to get 40k points just for one Deadpool cover. This would be true even if my Spidey wasn't already cover maxed.
I guess they really really want to make sure no-one ever has fond memories of TaT, but why they'd pull this tinykitty right after maxing participation rates with the Deadpool event I have no idea. Maybe to get participation rates back down while they fix the server hamsters?0 -
I got about 1400 (I think 1398) for one pass on everything. Since someone said it was 875 earlier, there is definitely some, but not a lot.0
-
Yeah small amount of RB for me as well, first node went from 89-106 in 2 hours.0
-
Ok, that 3xTeam Up node on the main event map is perfect for clearing out Twin Pistols TUs! The level 100 goons last a good long while, and don't pose a danger to your roster0

The rubberbanding has been unchanged in the general pattern for almost months now. It's pretty much always 'just barely enough to overtake overall leader if you did everything down to 1' for a very long time. What people don't realize is that this pattern can only work if the points on the missions themselves are reasonable. Thick as Thieves has a pattern of starting with 100-200 point subs, and then the main bracket missions are worth something like 500-1000 each. The reason your score from sub gets obliterated by the main bracket isn't because of rubberbanding. It's because every mission in the main is worth 5 times of the missions you did in your sub. Once the points do settle you still see the same pattern of needing to do virtually every mission on the main bracket to barely beat the overall leader, and part of the reason why you see huge numbers in TaT main bracket nodes is because they started out with incredibly high base points. The RB in these events tend to be pretty weak, but sometimes it turns out they're surprisingly strong when the main bracket leader didn't sleep, which was what almost certainly happened in the last sub in Deadpool event.0

ok, RB is starting to kick in for me now - the node with highest points was just over 200 every refresh previously and is now over 2700

So now the question is whether or not we'll reach the 1 billion point goal in time to open up the main bracket nodes compared to doing it in 3 days last time when Hulk was the progression reward at 25k IIRC
Edit: 1.2 billion points ~ just noticed on the bar at the bottom in the main event screen with the trial node0 -
so the most painful pve and baggerman is the prize. hopefully they change global RB mid event so i can get all the points in the end0

Looking at the current progress I think the overall points will be lowered at some point, but the question is when. If it's on the last day, that might not be enough time even with generous points on main nodes to hit 40K for most.0 -
This damn CMags/IM35/Don Node is beyond frustrating. I hope whoever made the decision to pair them together gets punch in the throat repeatedly.
Nodes that were made with the sole purpose to be irritating or nodes worth a pathetic amount of points to try to force grinding... 3* prizes covers are a character needed to near uselessness... a (probably) impossible to get final progress reward cover... Yeah, any motivation I had for this event is fading fast.0 -
This is my first ToT event, so I have a really stupid question - the first challenge, the one where you play as Deadpool, Widow and Cap. Is the idea just to do that one over and over again as there's only a single mission for me?0

That opens up the sub. You don't have to play that one anymore. New nodes will open up once the sub ends.0 -
I don't know if it's just me or not, but there is something oddly satisfying about dropping a whale on everyone0

I kinda feel vindicated by my decision to rank Captain Marvel to 553 as a result of this. It's not Magneto that's the problem, its the don feeding IM35's armored assault. That guy had protect nodes all over the place and made Bullseye lvl 395 protect tiles look like child's play! Then Magneto decided to join in on the act!! I didn't have Marvel with me that time, but I'm sure as heck bringing her along to the next time I clear that node! That was as frustrating as heck!0 -

The Don is definitely the problem, but he feeds blue to Magneto also along with yellow going to IM35, and if you manage to kill magneto, im35 may still pull off his blue... Last time Hulk was super-boosted to tank most colors and OBW was boosted too before True Healing kicked in... Not sure who I can use to beat this node at current lvl 138
Edit: I was successful using HairyDave's suggested team of Punisher/Hood/Psylocke & 3x All color AP boosts ~ will try again without boosts once I have some more health packs0 -

i ran hulk LT and LD and had no problems. Keep Hulk out front to tank hits. his anger will fuel dakans strike tiles and thors call the storm. it was a cake walk. give it a try. good luck.
