Uh what the hell? After the Lab sub-event ended I saw the New Scotland yard sub appear, but I didn't have time to hit it right then. Now I just checked back and not only has the sub disappeared, there's no PVP event either? What is going on? They said they were improving communication, but I don't see that happening. Isn't this the first time a PVP event has ended without another one in progress or starting?

No, the Lord Of Thunder tourney started a few hours late a couple of days ago, too.
And New Scotland Yard is there, try restarting the app.

Nope, theres still no sub for me as well.

Edit: Restarting didnt work but clearing first node yes. So try this Pylgrim.

Really? That sucks for you guys. Managed to have my first run through pretty much when it opened. The perks of a new-born baby I guess!

I got it! You have to redo the first mission in the main event (the one with three loaner characters). I hadn't realised that that node had re-opened, but upon completion the sub opens again.

I wasn't going to do any more after getting the DP cover but I've actually wound up close to getting a blue Spidey cover (which I need even if I don't want it) so I'll keep cruising along for now. Another pass through every node - or most of them anyway - tomorrow should be enough to keep me somewhere around the 200 mark.

Has anyone cleared all the nodes in the main sub? What is at the end of it. Wanna know it is worth my effort to get past a 115 Hood/Daken/Bullseye

Didn't want to risk my primary team on that one, so tried a secondary one. Well, secondary got wiped, but tertiary got the job done.

And it gave me a Level 5/193 Magnetic Translocation nuke for a rainy day, so that's fine

My best character is MNM, who is an absolute monster in this event, but since I couldn't use him I got obliterated.

Mags managed to pop off an ability every other go, amazing to watch really

Hood/Daken/Bullseye can't really kill you, except with strike tiling you to death. Just steel your nerves. Poor Hood, stealing all that AP for no good use.

Hood/Daken/Bullseye can't really kill you, except with strike tiling you to death.

With TU they can definatly kill you or at least do some damage.

I cleared all the subs. The end is super buffed Cmags and Hood. You can earn a lot of ISO in the main sub. A lot of 500 ISO wins and a lot of points if you are interested in getting spidy covers. I am looking to hit top 40 more for the ISO and HP than the covers. I will eventually level spidy when there is no one else on my team worth leveling.

An hour or so ago my Wolveroach account managed to get 40k without Deadpool, so now it has Deadpool and another 9k or so from the essential nodes in the main and the sub. L73 5/4/4 MNThor, L67 5/3/3/ OBW and L50 5/5/3 MStorm were the only characters I used.

I'd do a few more runs through the essentials (Scotland Yard IX is still 870 with L55 opponents) but Moon Roach calls before it's time to head to work.

Sorry about that, you're usually one of the few players that shows up in my mmr with higher points when I push for 250 points (I usually just stop there) I'll retreat to you the next few times I see you, okay? should be cheaper that repeatedly skipping you (-5 points probably compared to valuable ISO)

Man, you really want this cover, dont you? Farming points whole day...I think its easier to wait for pvp with reward at 1,3 k points

And I feel awful but MUST admit...it seems devs really improved this event. No rb on main nodes so its all bout subs and first were EU friendly so it seems I just could clear few time before sleep and still wake up being in top40. Good job (hate to write this ).

I've really enjoyed this event, and barring some craziness, should end with top 40 covers. That makes me happy especially since two nights of the weekend were spent with friends for several hours instead of poking my phone, and while I missed the top10/top 50 sub event placements I was hoping for in both the subs during that time, I didn't get ridiculously buried to the point where it wasn't worth trying again.

I found the main nodes quite fun, but they did rough up my roster a bit. If I hadn't done them in between a final push in a sub and the first clear in a new sub, I might have done a little better in the weapon tex-mex event... I do wish I'd brought a TU along for a chance at a strong replacement for the high level Mags encounter. I think I had a good board, because I found that rather easy. Then again, since the levels scared me a touch, I think I boosted decently too.

Let me just take this moment to say the Patch/CMags/Falcon trio absolutely destroys all goon nodes, even when extremely under-leveled. Looking at 180ish goons now and they never get off a thing against 135 Patch, 94 Falcon, and only 78 Magneto.

And also I'm pleasantly surprised with how smoothly this TaT ran compared to others (so far. who knows what may happen in the final minutes? ) and that the 1x only main was a nice way to give basically everyone the last progression award without trivializing the rest of the event. although that 218 mags/hood node was a big ouchie to my A-team. and B-team. and my super boosted C-team that one time. whatever, overall it's been good

Falcon is an incredibly dominant character in PvE. Maybe not quite as dominant as Magneto, but he's close. You could have Daken generating 2 strike tiles at strength 1, and Daken + Falcon would still be dishing out insane damage while having pretty good defense against the deadliest attacks like Flamethrower.

I phoned this one in but the ISO in the main at the end was a nice change of pace from PvP, so that's good. Also, I got a red Sentry cover from the Thick as Thieves token at 10k points which made up for not reaching the Deadpool cover (well, I assume not, unless I can get 15k or something in the last sub, I haven't looked at it yet).
