I might be misremembering, but I'm fairly certain that Team-Up match damage also ignores enemy Protect tiles. If TU becomes affected by Strike tiles, shouldn't it also be affected by Protect tiles?0

I'm actually quite bored of receiving so many TU bonuses now. It's not that great to be honest.0

Losing to weak teams because of sentry team ups is so fun, especially when the ai didn't have the ap to use them.0

Some other changes I'd like:
--Option to get 3 random team-up choices instead of manually selecting them
--Critical tiles should be consistent (crits matched with TU tiles give you one TU AP; with color tiles they don't give AP)0 -
First post for me in the Forums and I don't want to repeat many sentiments that have already been expressed but my take on the TU situation currently is that it currently can massively slow down people's PVE progression (especially in the Deadpool PVE as your team composition often had to have the Hood alive and functional in it and the other 2 members had to vary quite a bit) which may be giving quite a large advantage currently to people with MUCH bigger rosters. This is only part of my tale on the new TU idea. I have been playing MPQ for quite awhile now and I am trying to deal with all the recent changes and business decisions of D3 but Is it a good idea to for D3 to put so much pressure against newer people who will struggle because of these changes?0

My most wanted option is to remove the TU completely. Deciding whether to give the AI number of TUs might just lower the points we get for events or pvp. As someone else posted earlier, i went through all the trouble to collect the covers i want and instead of using them i have to collect TU tiles fOr powers i dont want to use to prevent the computerfrom unleashing ridiculously powerful (or crippling) abilities on my team. I can see how fun it would be for others but the sheer randomness and stacked-in-favour-of-AI completely kills the enjoyment of the game.0

You want to know why we don't use them? Sure:
They make everything much slower because you HAVE to choose tiles to use in order to have room for new tiles (so I boycott them completely now and keep playing without teamup), the fights get much more complicated when you're not aware of what tiles the computer has, and the computer keeps cheating on the AP usage, using lots of teamup abilities at the same time without having the necessary amount of AP available (how is it doing that?)...lots of reasons why they are bad, so let me suggest another option:

SKIP teamup tiles completely. We neither want them, nor need them. Let's match just colors. Or go back to the old system with environment tiles but make the environment abilities more balanced, instead of incredibly weak ones (Hotdog stand) versus the incredibly powerful ones (the forest ability, whatever it was called).0 -
I for one like team up. This also gives you incentive for fighting stronger foes, one of the most complained about..
On offense, team up is not so broken.. The best it can do is win you a game, just that, and considering the meta, that is still not enough..
Though the problem seems to stem from defensive play.. Maybe fixing the enemy using skills withouth enough AP will fix this.. Also I think goons should not be able to use team up.. It is painful to think you are safe from damage with only goons left and suddenly adamantium slash..!0 -
Add to this list: minion teams should not have the ability to use team-ups. only teams with "real" characters...0

Honestly I haven't even been bothering to set my team ups since the first day or so of the change. Until they at least change the interface so that it will remember your previous team up setting it's been too much of a hassle to go through every single battle. especially since most battles I never get any team up ap anyways. It ends up up just making the ai harder because they already used to favor environment matches which never used to deal damage and were terrible on most levels. Instead of tweaking the ai and balancing the levels this just lets them make sure the ai will always hit you for real damage and get those health packs flowing.0

That would work well. Also, after the match, if no Team-Ups got used, it would show those 3 + 1 that was won.

The one issue would be that the least useful card is probably one that wasn't selected (manually or randomly). But definitely show me the 21 cards so I can pick which to delete!0 -

If that was the change, I would automatic take my least useful just to potentially dump, no need to show all 210 -
My absolute biggest complaint is them "unequipping" after a fight. Im lazy and dont want to scroll through them to pick them for the next fight so I just dont equip them.
As for why they go unused, the AI treats TU tiles like they are the only thing worth matching. I just dont get to match any. And hey, its not like the AI is wrong, not like good ol' yelena/bullseye/venom has any use for colored tiles, might as well ask sentry/ragnarok for help.0 -
Something I'd like to see added: The "Hey a team up was just used" animation for countdown abilities like MNM or Hawkeye (Classic). Random countdown tiles just appear sometimes with no warning, then the graphic displays when they go off and the animation plays. Not useful.0

Be nice if they could fix/test things before releasing.
Just had a seed team drop a World Rupture on me. I killed the second player before it went off, but they kept counting down. The first one went off and then the rest disappeared.
It was like whoever cast it, was such a low level that one world rupture hit destroyed them and killed the rest of the tiles. Maybe there is an invisible Sentry casting these and if you can land enough team damage, they will go away?0 -
There seems to be something broken with these abilities when the AI uses them. I've had the AI use 2 abilities in a row with seemingly no AP. Additionally, they only ever seem to use the good ones like sentry's world rupture which I've been hit with dozens of times since this feature was introduced. Which is to say I've been hit with this ability a statistically improbable number of times. On top of that recently, as a super funny coincidence both times when I was using patch, the AI just happened to pop Loki's trickery as a TU.0

Im getting pretty tired of level 40 teams randomly hail mary crushing me with insane max level team ups out of nowhere. Where do they conjure these monstrous face smashers from? The free teamup fairy?0

The amount of sentry TU, specifically world rupture, I've seen from the AI is asinine. Furthermore, I have yet to see the AI use any weak TU such as the ones that fill up my roster. It always seems to be either the hardest hitting TUs or one specifically useful for them in the situation.
Balance of this system is required. Sooner rather than later. You have enough feedback. Do something please.0
