Nothing to do with sharding this time - just too many heavyweights entering really late, by choice or necessity icon_e_smile.gif

I be barely played for the last two months but have been back at it for Captain Marvel.

I just did 7 missions, each had at least 2 of 4 rewards available.... And I received 20 ISO each time. So frustrating and makes me want to put the game away for good.

AFAIK, the 50% chance of a "20 ISO" reward on a PvE node that has been cleared at least once already is still in effect.

I've long learned to stop caring about the node rewards in PvE (Except for Simulation 4 in The Simulator). People play PvE to earn the placement prizes in the long run. Any ISO prizes from nodes on the way there are simply a bonus. Thinking about the situation in any other matter is only going to drive a person insane.

I figured it wasn't changed, but damn, receiving 20 ISO for clearing level 200/300 bad guys just pisses me off. Enemy scaling should yield better rewards. 20 ISO is basically a slap in the face. I disagree that the ISO prizes are a bonus; there are 4 rewards in place for a reason. They are actual rewards. The 50% drop rate for 20 ISO (after you clean the node for the first time) is total garbage.

Yeah, part of this bracket as well, but unfortunately not a heavy hitter icon_e_smile.gif

Ah well, they can't all be cake walks, can they?

I know it's probably because I'm fairly new to the game but, I'd like to smack the tinykitty out of whoever put rubberbanding in the game. It's like a slap in the face to people who play events like this from the beginning. I was top 10 until today and now I'm down in to low 100's with nodes that are only 300 or lower? I hope I can get back into the top 10 in my bracket before the event is over.

Does anybody know what the cut off mark for top 100 for Alliances currently is? We are sitting at position 134 and 976446 and wondering how far away we are from top 100.

    Thank you.

Tell me again how nerfing Spidey is going to cure PVE scaling.

Getting rid of CMags might do the trick.
    Maybe.
If world rupture is nerfed too.
  • The current scaling is far beyond the point where a World Rupture can solve the problem. 16k health is friggin insane.

Also like to know. We are outside the top 100 and wanted to know the difference ..
  • Just played the 2 featured nodes, jumped from 50th to 26th. The bunching and variability of rankings in this one is insane and only likely to get worse over the next 8 hours
  • I hope somewhere out there is someone killing lvl 300+ goon nodes using a Bagman, Venom, OBW team, go get em you little OP bastard, don't stop for nothing.

The farthest I can see is 83rd and they are at 1036323.

It's a tinykitty race due to rubber banding.

The gap between 100 and first will continue to close. This event is going to come down to how fast you can clear nodes in the last 30 minutes. Having nodes in the 300 and lower if they fully stacked means your close to the global leader probably within 3K so that would put you on 58K points. I am sitting 59K now in second with my main leader on 60.5K and if I had Congo fully stacked it would be worth about 280 points.

This is correct. This event is a shining example of what happens when player scores are allowed to rubberband off the global main bracket leader for extended periods of time. Thankfully, this is the only event where this situation occurs to this level of insanity (7 days of pure global rubberband).

Nevertheless, the situation is as Sumilea describes. In an event such as this, all that matters in the end is how well a player can maximize clearing in the last 30-60 minutes. The previous 167 - 167.5 hours of this event were meaningless (outside of ISO farming, if a player chose to do so).

Once again, mad props to Sumilea for figuring out everything PVE related, and sharing it so openly with the whole community. That's both helpful and benevolent, two things this forum can't have enough of.

    Thanks icon_e_smile.gif

Now on with this mad rubberband show!

It is upsetting to think that while I have spent the majority of this event in the top 20 and a significant amount of time in the top 10, I will be lucky to finish in the top 100 due to rubberbanding.

I don't know what impact that will have on my desire to play this game.
